Adidas makes a lot of shoes under the "SAMBA" name, so it's important to know which one your are purchasing. There are plenty of sites that break down the differences. These are the SAMBA classic soccer shoe - technically built for indoor soccer. It features a stiffer, longer tongue, arch support, etc. The SAMBA OGs are a street-version of the shoe with a slightly slimmer profile and thinner/softer materials. I think some people are expecting the OGs when they order these?The shoes I received are good quality and comfortable. The tongue does "squeak" a little when you walk, but I imagine as the shoe breaks in that will go away. I do like the arch support in these a lot. I'd say they are true to size.

I bought the shoes because of the “samba” look with the slim profile of the shoe. Aesthetically— really great, pretty high quality in that category. Colors are awesome contrast, and my wife immediately complimented me on the choice (she’s critically fashion savvy). Comfort— they’re ok. Not a shoe to wear for long distances if you have flat feet like myself. They do squeak ever so slightly after a few uses, but I think it’s just the leather rubber in particular spots. A little bit of shoe shine of some kind and that should be fixed.

I had my eye on this shoe for months but was concerned with all the mixed reviews. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The shoe is super comfortable, way more comfortable that I thought. It also is sharp and eye catching, crisp colors and lines. It does run slightly big - I am normally an 8 in women's adidas and this 8 was a little big. I could have gone down to a 7.5. BUT it still love the shoe and now I can take them on and off without untying.
