I have been buying the Solimo Dark Roast K cups for a long time, and they are full-bodied enough that I run each pod twice using the 8 ounce pour setting and STILL get a quite strong coffee. This French Roast is notably stronger flavored, and at 16 ounces it is BIG yet not bitter or astringent. On a single 12 ounce pour (not running the pod through twice), it is practically espresso strength but obviously without the creamy top.Having used most of the premium brands at one time or another, I can’t say they are better than the Solimo coffees, and at practically half the price of premiums, these are great products.

These are surprisingly good, especially for how inexpensive they are compared to other brands. The flavor is smooth and not too strong, and they brew consistently every time. I honestly can’t tell much of a difference from more expensive pods. Such a good option if you go through a lot of coffee and want to save money.

Okay, in full disclosure my go to coffee is Tully's French Roast. I believe that Tully's French Roast is the best k-cup ever. It is my absolute favorite by far. However, it typically runs about .50 cents per pod. I drink about 3-4 cups per day so I was looking for a way to cut back...on price that is. I decided to try the Solimo. So, here is my take. It's pretty good. It's NOT Tully's. Tully's is better, but...is it double the price better? This is where I am still deciding. I just bought 100 pods of the Solimo. It's good enough that I am sure I will make through these pods. Some reviewers said it's horrible. It's not horrible. It is a rich dark roast, but somehow it's not as smooth as Tully's. In a way, it's strange, it is dark, rich and full bodied, but it "lacks" flavor. The Tully's French Roast is rich, dark and full of flavor. This is good coffee, better than most, but it's not quite Tully's. More than likely what I think is that I will buy both. Have Tully's as my first cup and these and my follow up cups. This is good coffee at an excellent price. I will provide an update at a later date once I have had a few more cups.-----Update 5-11-2019------I have been drinking this coffee for a few days now and I still stand by the 4 star rating. I bought some Tully's French Roast today to do a side by side comparison. They both have a very similar color, and similar strengths, however, it is weird the Solimo just doesn't have a whole lot of flavor. The Tullys has a nice smooth rich coffee flavor. So, in summary, the Solimo is a great rich cup of coffee for a great price.

I was buying k cups at a much higher price and decided to try less expensive brands for taste and quality. Honestly there isn’t two cents of difference in the higher cost, well known brand and Amazon brand.. I highly recommend this Amazon k cups coffee.

I like my coffee both bold and black, so it has to have its own personality. Also like many people, I refuse to pay ridiculous prices for coffee. I like to have at least two or three different roasts to choose from, and I always find one of them on sale, or at a reasonable cost.The Amazon Solimo French Roast fits the bill. It is a nice, bold roast. No bad after taste, no bitterness. And, at 34 cents per pod, it is very reasonably priced. Two out of two members of my household approve of it, so I will assume it's here to stay.A few other points:*I have attached a photo of the bottom of the pod. From what I can see, the plastic is indeed recyclable. There is a triangle with the number 6 in it, which stands for Polystyrene. Of course, to recycle, you would have to cut out the filter and spent grinds. I understand recycling is an issue with some people, however, in the big picture, 99.9% of us throw out a heck of a lot more waste than a few plastic pods per day. (I know, every little bit helps.)*Each pod is also coded and expiration dated. The coffee I received 5/2018 has an expiration date of 8/2019.*There is no indication of the coffee being Kosher*Out of curiosity, I compared the weight of a full Green Mountain pod with this Amazon pod. Both weighed in at 15 grams.*You will be shipped a cardboard box with 100 pods in it. Nothing fancy - box and coffee, which is all that is necessary.All in all, I think Amazon got it right with this. I am very interested in knowing which company(s) supplies the coffee. I somehow doubt that Amazon roasts their own beans. I'm also surprised they took this long to get in on the pod train.

I drink 2 mugs of coffee to start my day. I typically have 5 - 6 kinds that I particularly like and most I brew from K-pods in my Keurig machine. Taste wise, this Solimo French Roast coffee in Kpods gets 4 stars overall , which means it is a good value, is of good quality but the strength is a little less than other French Roasts that I enjoy. Functionally, it only gets one star because more than half of the K-pods do not work at all or only a little amount of coffee gets through the pod. That leaves a very, very weak or non-coffee taste. To be fair, a few did work. I ever had this problem with any other brand of coffees I buy. So my overrall rating is a generous 3 stars. And I can't recommend it.

Best coffee dark roast strong how I like it! I know good coffee and I’m so happy I did my research and the price!!!! Amazing! Told others about it! Wish I bought more when it was $10.

Very good taste. Better than other brands that cost twice as much. Now part of my subscribe and save.
