I bought these "Used - Like New", for less than $10! This was a great deal. I was hoping that the reason they had so many used ones, was that they were difficult to set up for non-techie people, so many people gave up trying to set them up, and returned them. It seems that I was correct. The bulbs were perfect, and I couldn't really tell that the package had been opened. Set up was difficult enough that I could see why some people may have sent them back. However, with just a little trial and error, I was able to get them to work. I am very pleased with the many choices of lighting scenarios, and the ability to make custom ones. I am using the Cync App, and I also can use Google Home, and Google Assistant to control them. At first I had all of them in the light fixture and tried to set them up, and I ran into some problems. When I finally decided to put one bulb in the fixture, set it up, and then put the next one into the fixture, set it up, and so on...I was able to set them up with ease. Don't be afraid to buy the "Used- Like New" ones. I may buy another set as a backup.

Easy to set up using the app. It's nice to vary the colors depending on the time of day.

0) Don't throw away those QR codes you get that are attached to the light. They're critical for the install process.1) Install the cync app on your smartphone. Make an account, of course, then add devices using those QR codes.2) Make sure you don't misspell your SSID if your network is hidden.3) Add each light one at a time, preferably creating a room, then a group, for the lights.4) Open Google Home and pair the Cync partner account in Add New DevicesIf you don't do that, as of the time of writing this review, you might have issues where the lights won't recognize your device hub, like your Nest Mini. Note, I'm still giving it 5-stars, despite the install hiccup.That said, purdy lights. Much glow. Very contrast when you set them to independent colors via the smart apps. Programmable too, so I can set them to full bright in the morning to wake my ass up.

I have multiple versions of the CE smart lights. I've been very happy with the few exceptions where they lost connection with my smart speakers during update periods. Twice I needed to fully link all my lights over again. Annoying enough to lose a star, but not enough to not recommend or buy more for my own use.

My initial review upon install is that the lights are great and set up could not have been easier, just follow the directions. Download the app, put the light in and turn it on, follow directions. I am using the light outdoors in a covered lamp, so we’ll see how it holds up, this is not a recommended usage. I bought these to match our exterior lights which can change colors, and the color change on the app could not be simpler to use.

I really like these bulbs in my ceiling fan that has chandelier bulbs. The color options are phenomenal and whatever color you can think of to say to your device it’s connected to, My Alexa does it for me!!!The brightness of the bulbs are insane and will light up everything in your room and you can make yourself a night light too!!One helpful tip I will tell you, if you’re putting them in the same thing like I did, with my ceiling fan and it has three bulbs, I had to take the code off of each individual bulb and scan the sticker to add the bulbs to the app and it took Me a hot minute to try that out and Thank goodness it worked out perfectly!!!It didn’t take any time to get everything connected and functioning after I figured out the bulbs had to be done separately..As soon as you tell your device, what to do with your bulbs and how you want them what colors you want them and you can make each individual bulb a different color, like I do to my ceiling fan. if you want to, it’s all your preference.As quick as you tell your device, what color you want or to turn your lights off or on, it’s on in a quickness and you can’t beat that!!I’m sick in those days I can’t get up and down sometimes not at all, so I’ve turned my bedroom and my en suite bathroom into a place that I don’t Have to get down to turn my bedroom lights off and on And it’s a wonderful feeling when you just tell them what to do and they will just do whatever you want!!!

I installed in a ceiling fan light fixture. The white light options were all too dim. Also, the controls were unreliable using the Cync app without a hub or a voice activated system. Extremely limited scheduling abilities. I could set a schedule on time, but not on time of day based on sunrise/set, could not set a fade in/out with the timer. This didn't work for me. I wish there was a brighter candelabra base bulb available.
