Update to below reviews on this product! I raised my rating to 5 stars for awesome product support. I thought my WaterPik finally died after two years. I discovered it was under a 3-year warranty so I called product support. After asking me a number of questions, the product support representative walked me through a number of steps to fix it. Voila! My favorite WaterPik was alive again! Thank you!!!!---Original review in February: I purchased this to replace an aging 4 year old Waterpik. I hesitated because some reviews cited low pressure because it was battery-powered. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Any more powerful and the water jet would probably rip my gums. Yes, I took a gamble and am glad I did. This model is ideal for me because I travel. The rechargeable feature and the small footprint are advantages. I really like the slow pulsing when the unit starts running low on charge. It's simply and it's built so the parts are easy to clean. Glad I tried it!Follow on review in November - 9 months later: It just stopped! Dead! Disappointing. It was nice when it worked... That's it for me!Follow on review on December 4 - Waterpik product support helped me fix this! I was informed that this product was still under warranty, so I called Waterpik. Customer support was helpful and helped me troubleshoot the problem. It is now working again, but am watching carefully. I suspect issue with the weak magnetic connection on the charging cable. But so my Waterpik is back alive! Thank you Waterpik.

Love it. It’s easy to use you simply plug it in let it charge up and you’re off to the races. Just be careful the settings really are powerful. I have some really tight teeth in the back and I don’t even need to put this beyond a two or three and it will floss my teeth better than any dentist could. Sometimes I add mouthwash to the water basin for a really fresh feeling. Also, it works with braces getting anything that’s trapped out quickly. If your teeth are sensitive in spots you can turn it down and it will still clean out your teeth. It comes with multiple attachments so you can choose which is best for your teeth. I haven’t even used all of them yet but the ones I have used have all worked wonderfully so if you need a waterpik I highly recommend you get this one. I have very sensitive gums and this product allows me to set the speed that is most comfortable for me.

We don't like to have a lot of wires and things sitting on our bathroom sink area. The ION Professional is great because it's battery-powered. So we charge it, use it a few times, then re-charge it when necessary. It's not real portable, like a hand-held Waterpik, but we just wanted something we could use and then put away in the cabinet. The charger is one of those that is held to the unit by magnets. Within a few weeks, these posts had corroded with something and wouldn't charge the machine. Once I took a small nail file to the ends of the posts, it has been working fine. That shouldn't have happened in the first place, but it happened with a few weeks of getting the unit. I thought it was odd and now I check the plug every time I recharge it.When I first started using it I got a horrible toothache that felt like I needed a root canal procedure. The dentist took several x-rays from different angles but couldn't see anything wrong. I skipped those painful areas, and turned the power down a notch to its lowest setting, and the problem went away within a few days. We like the unit and when we've gone out-of-town, missed how "clean" our teeth felt.

Love using a Waterpik, this model is rechargeable and since there isn’t a plug by my wife’s sink it is exactly what we needed. Works the same as a plug in model keeping our teeth clean making my dentist happy.

After only 9 months, this thing will not turn on anymore. It is under warranty from Waterpik, but their customer service is absolutely a nightmare to deal with. Don't waste your time. They are slow to respond and each email just brings up a new line of questioning. Most companies would have sent a shipping label to send the unit in for warranty by now. I have been emailing back and forth for a month now with no resolution. They are doing everything they can to not fix or replace this machine. Some excerpts from those emails are below:1. "Thank you for reaching out to the Waterpik Product Support Team. Since we know your flosser motor is not turning on, I’d like you to try the following steps listed below.What could be happening here is the Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) in the bathroom is interfering with the power going to the unit. In order to test this, I would like for you to take the unit into another room, such as a living room or bedroom, where there is no running water. Try plugging the unit into an outlet in one of those rooms and turn on the flosser to see if the motor turns on.If it does, then purchasing a Single Outlet Surge Protector for the bathroom outlet should resolve this issue in the future. Additionally, we also recommend deep cleaning your unit with a 50/50 solution of warm water and distilled white vinegar. Afterwards, we recommend continuing to clean with a 2:1 ratio of warm water and distilled white vinegar every 1-3 months.If the step above is unsuccessful, then please let me know so we can look into additional steps. Super product, easy to use.. closest thing to a professional water pick out there . The varying degrees of output strength make for a very pleasant experience. The size of the unit allows for the unit to fit neatly on the sink. The unit holds its charge for numerous operations

It worked just fine. I noticed a dramatic change in the color of my teeth, even though I got it primarily for flossing. The problem is, it stopped working a couple of days ago out of the blue. I purchased it in July, my return expired in August and it cost 99.00I had to come back and change my review from 3 to 5 stars. It works!!! It was the charging port. It’s constantly exposed to water so some red substance like erosion or rust was blocking the charge. I cleaned it and now it’s working just fine. I’m glad because I was considering getting my teeth whitened to match my implants. I bought this device because my dentist recommended it for cleaning the implants. I also used it on my natural teeth by mixing a little hydrogen peroxide in the water. My teeth whitened and now I don’t need the dentist to do it. This was a good purchase so thumbs up and highly recommended. 👍🏾👍🏾

I really enjoy the freedom of using a battery-powered unit; it is easy to use and keeps my gums feeling and looking very healthy and clean, which my dentist is happy about. I am probably on my third unit now, and the good warranty means they have replaced it every time it has died. The two things I would change are adding a USB-C charging point with a rubber cap to protect it from water when I am using it, and moving the ON/OFF button to a different location and making it waterproof, perhaps even a touch button. When my hands are dripping water after using it and I try to turn it off, because the button is on top, it makes it easy for water to get inside the electronic parts, which I think might be one reason why the unit dies so often. I am not sure if this is the main cause, but it should be looked into by the designer team at the company. Overall, it is a great product with a great idea that could use a few minor tweaks.

Nice water pick. Adjustable pressure. The pick itself is magnetised so easy to place back on the stand after use without any trailing wires. Charged up from usb and retains its power a long time so you don’t have to charge it very often. It’s a little more expensive than some others. But looks neat on top of my mirrored cabinet as it is fairly compact.

Best on the market! Love this waterpik. Ease of use, and all aspects work as advertised. Rechargeable with a large water reservoir, excellent pressure adjustable. Would definitely recommend.

Lo iba a devolver porque según las instrucciones si eres nuevo con estos aparatos, debes usar el mínimo nivel, y eso hice, pero me decepcionó que no sentí limpieza alguna, le di otra oportunidad pero al máximo nivel, y si no lo hagan me lastimó y me sangro las encías, después le baje al nivel 6 y WOW!! limpio, luego use mi cepillo eléctrico oral b y doble WOW!!! La sensación de la boca recien lavada me duró todo el día, pero enserio todo el día. Creo que este waterpik con un cepillo eléctrico son el duo perfecto, tembien compré esos aparatos ultrasónicos para quitar el sarro, creo que con esos no iré al dentista en un muy muy largo tiempo. Usa agua tibia como se recomienda si eres nuevo en esto, es muy sensible la boca al agua fria.
