I’ve been drinking protein powder for the last 20 years and am constantly trying new brands and flavors. I always come back to this Muscle Milk protein. It’s absolutely delicious, mixes instantly, and is a great value. Are there a lot of other great tasting protein? Sure. But what I love about this one is it’s value, and the fact that it comes in a bag. It’s so wasteful to me that most proteins come in a giant plastic tub. I really don’t enjoy creating that much water and I’m happy this is offered in this type of package. Anyways, this stuff taste great. I drink 2 scoops everyday and my partner takes about 1 daily. This bag lasts is almost a month which breaks down to like a $1.50 a shake. For almost 1/4 of my daily protein intake, that’s amazing value. Do yourself a favor and get this protein

I just switched to this product because it is HALF the cost of the one I was using. It tastes OK for a powdered chocolate drink although it seems to have a slight additional taste sort of like they added a little vanilla. I prefer the taste of the previous product but I can't afford to pay twice as much per oz and this product comes fast and is in a 5 lb bag as opposed to a 2 lb jar. This one is .62 cents per oz while the other one I was using was $1.25 per oz. I'm 74, 6' 1", 250 lbs and had a heart attack in Dec. I did 12 weeks of cardio rehab and was told I should get at least 200 grams of protein a day.

Normally I wouldn't use a muscle milk product because it's usually loaded with unneeded garbage. This product however is great. Usually you need 2 scoops per drink but this is only 1 scoop and has 25g of protein. It's low in carbs, fat and calories. Nonetheless, it actually tastes good, at least the chocolate one is, I haven't tried the vanilla.The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the random fluctuating price. I bought my last bag at $49.99 for 5 lbs which is sadly a good deal compared to most powders. I go to order another bag a couple weeks ago and it jumped to $64.99. Today I checked again and it's now $99.99! Double the price from one month ago?? That's just crazy!So if you're interested in buying this you may want to keep checking the price because tomorrow it may be 40 bucks but the next day it might be $150.

Tastes great mixed with water or unsweetened almond milk. I get a hint of coconut flavor in the background, don't think it's intentional, but I love it. Best value for the price hands down. I much prefer this over Optimum Nutrition. Just note: this is NOT the regular Muscle Milk drink that they sell everywhere, it's whey.

Great taste, mixes really well, dissolves perfectly without clumping or sticking to the sides of mixing vessel. Isolates are the best type of whey as they are lower in milk sugars and fats, and therefore pure protein. It is also low in calories compared to the others I have used which are plenty.I use this every morning mixed with oats, fruit, nuts, and seeds, blended to perfection for a get start high protein, easy digestible breakfast that not only tastes great but is packed with energy to start my day.

For two years I tried different protein powders off and on. I went through brand after brand and found myself just forcing them down, the taste horrible. I was convinced that the protein powder experience was nasty sludge that people drank purely for the benefits, so I forced my way through each bag/tub.Not anymore! This protein is over the moon better! The flavor is tasty, the consistency is perfect, the nutrient profile is good, it all comes together to form the ideal protein supplement! I think the lack of maltodextrin is what makes this protein palatable. It has a taste and texture difference unlike all of the other maltodextrin-filled proteins I had tried before.If I could recommend a protein powder, buy this one!

i was hoping for a decent chocolate flavor. both the smell amd the flavor are really not good.regular muscle milk tastes good, why cant they get the whey to match?

The chocolate flavor is there but weak and artificial - easily fixed by adding some unsweetened cocoa powder BUT IT IS WAY TOO SWEET compared to what I'm used to i.e., Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein Powder, Double Rich Chocolate.Several hours after drinking, my tongue still tingles and I can still taste the sweetener. I don't add sugar to fruit/other foods or eat a lot of sugary, processed foods/hidden sugars so that is most likely the reason this is so sweet to me and has unfortunately also caused additional trips to the bathroom.Nutrition and price is good... the sweetness and extra bathroom visits, not so much.
