Bath time can be a wonderful bonding experience, but if you're struggling to keep baby secure or warm, it can be stressful, too. The Sit & Soak baby tub from Munchkin is your new best friend! Designed to keep even the littlest babies in an upright position, this innovative non slip tub features a padded backrest and built in support bump that keeps babies safe in the water's warm embrace. The handle doubles as a storage hook, keeping its footprint small, while the sleek and simple design works with any bathroom decor. Comfortable, warm, and secure, it's everything an infant bath should be.

The Munchkin Sit and Soak tub has been a wonderful addition to our baby care routine. It’s perfectly shaped to support our newborn in an upright and secure position, making bath time much easier and safer. The padded backrest and non-slip bottom add extra comfort and stability. It’s compact, lightweight, and fits easily in the sink or bathtub. A great product for newborns and small babies—I highly recommend it to new parents!
I'm so mad that I didn't know about this tub when my son was born because this tub is amazing!I had been using the Angelcare Baby Bath Support for the first 5 months. He was a very tiny newborn so perhaps that was the best thing for him at the time. I bathe him in the kitchen sink and this support just didn't fit properly in my sink and it got more unstable as he became more mobile (and more chunky!). I was looking at the Angelcare Bath Seat but I didn't understand why it was being sold for more than $50 when the Support cost only $15.The price for this bath is fantastic! It's basically a deep bucket that narrows at the bottom so it fits PERFECTLY in my kitchen sink. It also allows my 6 and 1/2 month old son to be more submerged in the water so he gets to enjoy his warm bath experience a bit more. He just looks WAY more comfortable sitting in this and it's so roomy that I bet we'll be getting good use out of this till he hits the 12 month mark. I bet this would've been great to have in the newborn phase because the back part is slightly reclined and theres a little bump at the base of it that creates a little seat so I think that is a good amount of support.ALSO, the drain at the bottom of the tub is so freaking awesome! It makes it SO MUCH EASIER to clean the tub or even drain the water while baby is inside (just in case any poop accidents occur).
Started using this tub when my baby was around 2.5M (4M now). Baby is so comfy in it! This is the third tub we tried out and it’s been our favorite so far. Also fits perfectly in our kitchen sink and it’s easy to dry/ store away. 10/10!
I’ve been desperately trying to find something for my 6 month old to bathe in. We were previously trying to bathe him in the regular infant bath seat that reclines in the sink or tub. He is sitting up now and constantly trying to roll out of and sit up in the reclined seat, making it hard for bath time. All the other bath seats I’ve seen have low reviews due to either mold growth or difficulty cleaning child in the seat. This one is perfect, he can sit up and the support part in the middle keeps him in place. I do feel as he gets a bit older that part will get in his way but that’s not a huge deal at all. Draining the tub and cleaning is very easy as well. It has a max fill line and it’s a perfect amount of water so baby isn’t tipping over. He loved splashing and playing and being able to sit up in the tub. Worth every penny!
This is the 3rd bath tub that I’ve purchased for my newborn. The last two either didn’t fit in my sink, or was unstable and hard for my baby to lay comfortably in. This tub is perfect! Tonight was the first time my baby actually enjoyed bath time and did not cry. She was comfortable and relaxed. She even splashed a bit. Haha. But this tub!
For the first month of my baby’s life I didn’t bathe her in the tub since was tiny and I just felt like she would sink even if I put some support on her back ( a sponge) but once she was 2 months and had a growth spurt the tub was a lot more convenient. What I like about this tub is that unlike the other tubs in the store this one has high walls which mean as they get bigger it will still cover most of their body unlike the tubs that just cover up until they belly button when they sit and I like this because I’m able to keep my baby’s entire body warm and it also had a drain which you just lift up the silicone piece and that it, perfect for when you are rinsing them and wanting to add clean water. The one thing that I would say is that if you’re wanting to bathe your small baby it’s not like the Frida mom tub that you are able to lay them down and it has the comfortable sponge so you will have to hold they little heads so they don’t go side ways.
I never write reviews but this is the greatest thing everI had a different bath in my baby registry but it was so difficult to use BUT this one is game changer you def need to buy it my baby is 2 months and sits well (he is obviously in water if he’s kicking he will move but as the parent you obviously need to fix him lol) I have a double kitchen sink and use it there I had a c section and it’s still difficult to bend in the bathtub so this is the greatest thing ever it doesn’t come with any foam support so no need to dry anything or worry about mold like my previous bath this is 20/10 and my baby LOVES IT he doesn’t cry at all and loves to sit there all smiley he hasn’t cried during bath time since owning this
This style tub is the best. Keeps baby submerged from the chest down so they stay warm, props them up securely so you can use two hands to wash, and keeps their head out of the water. Through four babies I’ve used the standard blue baby tub, the shnuggle, and now this one. This one is my favorite and is better than the shnuggle.Munchkin vs Shnuggle:-Better price ($16 vs $39)-Better padding (foam padding on back and under baby’s bottom)-Better “speed bump” on the floor to keep baby in place...in the shnuggle my baby was always slipping up and over, and I’d end up having to hold him in place. My current 2 month old stayed completely secure without me holding onto her at all in this munchkin tub.-Just slightly bigger, which will allow longer use, but not so much bigger that it becomes a drawback.-Drain in the floor. Love that I can just pull the plug while I’m removing baby. With the shnuggle you have to dump it, which obviously you can’t do while baby is still in it, but was hard to do while holding baby after removing them. Just one more thing to have to come back and do later.I also plan to take this to the beach/pool/lake to give baby somewhere to sit and have her own personal little pool to cool off in.
Baby is 3 months. She loves sitting in this tub. She feels safe with her bum, back, head, and arms all supported. She lets her chubby feet float which is adorable. It uses very little water while still keeping her fairly submerged. Perfect for right now. Pleasantly surprised.Update: 4 months. She loves it even more now. This tub is such a wonderful shape to support her while letting her move her arms and legs. I'm a safety conscious mommy and I feel like my energy relaxes when she's in this tub (versus the sink, or other tubs) and she has more funny with a calmer mommy.Yes, it does just sit in the bathtub when not in use but it's cute, not covered in kiddie designs. Plus we have a separate shower so it doesn't effect our daily life.
Its perfect
Fue la tercera bañera que compré y podría haber sido la única. Maravillosa y estimula mucho el desarrollo de mi bebé.
Muy cómoda, la mejor compra que pudimos hacer.
This tub is excellent!! When my child was only 2 weeks only, I didn’t even have to hold him; the only thing I had to do was to make sure he didn’t lean to the one side. It’s stress free and my child felt independent. It fits nicely in the kitchen sink and I usually did the dishes while he enjoyed the soak. I was still right beside him but since he couldn’t slide down due to the elevation in the middle of the tub, it was safe and possible. Super ideal and easy to clean. I also love the drain feature!
