Price is much better than local stores. Easy to fix the Velcro, just put top piece on the attached strips, push picture in place. Well made and very attractive looking. I like having canvases made at local pharmacy and using these frames. Classy and affordable!

I rarely take the time to write a review, but this frame is so great that I bought 4 more. My son is an artist, and I wanted something that would highlight the painting. This fits the bill. It is solid wood with saw tooth hangers for vertical or horizontal hanging. It comes with 4 velcro strips to attach to the painting so it appears to float in the frame. Installation took 5 minutes. Good product, reasonable price. That's a winner.

These frames dramatically improve the look of your 16 x 20 canvas paintings. With that, I am 100% satisfied.However, I'm giving it 4 stars for the following reason and suggesting one minor change to the manufacturer...Your canvas prints will adhere to the frame via a hook-and-loop tape strip. However, one side of the tape strip is already applied to the frame AND stapled on. If you stick the other half of the tape strip directly to the part that's already on the frame, it might not adhere directly to your painting, and we all know that canvas frames can vary in size. Also, because it's supposed to look like the paintings are floating within the frame, you can see the black hook-and-loop tape around the edges of the paintings, which I thought looked tacky. I ended up purchasing a roll of my hook-and-loop tape and pulling up all the pre-stuck/stapled tape from the frames. I then applied my tape directly to the back of my canvas paintings and then placed it into the frame. Doing this kept any black tape from showing behind the paintings. It would save the manufacturer a significant amount of time if they would just place the precut tape into a bag and let the consumer attach it themselves. I purchased 14 frames for my paintings, so it was a project to remove all of that sticky tape!As to value...I watched a video on how to build my own frames and thought I could do it. However, I needed 14 frames. By the time I priced out how much it would cost for all the materials (and that didn't count labor putting them together), I realized that for not much more $$, I could just buy the premade ones and be done with it. These frames were the most affordable frames I could find, and again, the quality is excellent.

Got this for my daughter’s painting on canvas! It was super easy to use and perfect quality for what we needed. It’s built well, thick, has hooks, and a good weight to it.

Easy to use and fit nicely for a canvas I’d painted. The Velcro strips help. The toothed frame hangers are on the top and one side. The side hanger is needed if hanging horizontally, of course, but makes it stick away from the wall on one side and makes the frame constantly go crooked if one uses the frame vertically. Pic has a spot on wall from side hanger before I tapped it down. One may say to just unscrew that, and that’s the solution! However, hand/wrist arthritis prevents me from unscrewing that extra side hanger; I tried but it was installed very securely. Maybe if it was not installed so tightly! I ended up hammering the side hanger flatter and that helped. My inability to unscrew it shouldn’t make it lose a star. The frame is fine, seems sturdy, and a good price.

I really wanted to love this frame, however I had t give it three stars for the following reasons: 1)When placing the canvas into the frame, you are able to see a bit of the Velcro tabs on the outside of the canvas a bit. 2) The bottom of the frame I received was slightly warped.(I measured to confirm, it wasn’t an I’ll placing. I hadn’t fixed the Velcro into place luckily I had noticed this immediately) I was very glad to have had luck with Amazon’s assistance in receiving a refund so that I was able to purchase a replacement quickly, as this was intended as a frame for canvas which was a birthday gift. So time was of the essence. Aside from these setbacks, I did think that other aspects of the frame were impressive such as the quality of the wood and craftsmanship. I think perhaps I may have just gotten a “dud”; as I had seen many other reviews that were positive and did not mention any warping. I think the concept of the Velcro is innovative and makes it simple for someone who may not have tools handy or isn’t interested in having to get to deep into having to try and framing a canvas on their own for the first time. Which I had not had experience prior to this.

The dimensions listed are for the outer frame and not for the size of the picture inside. I returned it.

I had purchased from Etsy a canvas picture of my cat. I wanted something stylish to put it in and I wasn't even aware this type of frame existed. Put the matching velcro strips on the back of my canvas and carefully aligned it into the frame. Extremely stylish.
