I LOVEEEEE IT! it’s so elegant and great price, before i had really old ones from decades ago and this makes the room feel modern

Got this fan installed in my master bedroom and I'm pleased with it.Value for what you get is good - it is on the cheaper side of fans, and it does a decent job and looks very good for what it is. Motor noise is pretty quiet, barely noticeable, and I actually started using a noise machine in my room because it was too quiet in there now without using my previous upright fan in the corner. The fan isn't super fast and doesn't move a ton of air, but for the given room size and the fact that it's right over our bed, it is more than sufficient. Only time it wouldn't be good enough is if it was in like a larger room - and at that point you're probably going with a larger fan, anyways. Visually, the quality is good - no durability problems to report. Installation was simple - standard. All functions, speeds, settings, adjustments, etc. work as advertised. All in all, it's great!

This fan is great. It works really well and was a breeze to set up. Not all of the parts are too heavy but it is still sturdy. Doesn't feel cheap. Size is perfect, doesn't take up space, and despite being somewhat smaller than regular ceiling fans, it does have a strong airflow. Freshens the room pretty quickly. Not to mention the sleek modern look that it has. It is beautiful.

Decent fan. Easy to install. Directions are easy to understand. It is a decent size. It is a plain lighted fan so it would be best in a bedroom, but can be placed in the kitchen or living as well but it is pretty basic. It works well. Not too bad for the price.

I found myself rather conflicted on whether this was deserving of 4 stars or 5 stars. My baseline, by the way, is I don't take a free product in the vine program until I first believe the product is capable of 5 stars.There were a lot of places where as I went through this I thought there was a better way to do it - but as I thought about that I also realized I never got to the point of saying something I saw was the worst way to do it. For that matter, the FANSHAIN 42" Pull Chain Ceiling Fan was generally right down the middle where I thought an average ceiling fan would go. Current pricing seems on the better than average side. So, it seems you're getting your money worth.Biggest call out is with regards to the base plate you(r electrician/handyman) will deal with. The base plate here isn't a plate, it's just a bar. I've given a photo of it from the perspective that touches the ceiling. That's actually common in mid-range fans, but I dislike wobbling fans enough that I steer toward full plates when the manufacturers disclose it. Having said that, this is still sturdy metal and like I said before, I've seen much worse.Everything else checks all the right boxes and the listing matches what I saw. The fan is reversible with 3 fans speeds and the light is one or off. The light shade is frosted glass which diffuses light well. Well enough that I took a photo showing how it diffused a flashlight, but I figured some might find the photo confusing.There are plus sides, too. The motor is very heavy for a ceiling fan. My experience says that's good and a sign of quality materials that will last. Everywhere there is a screw to tighten there is a small rubber pad already attached between where the surfaces will touch. That will quiet the fan and dampen vibrations. The arms for the blades are lightweight and made of metal and where the blades are mdf, they're also light but stiff. Both of those factors will help reduce noise and make the unit better balanced. All told, if I only walked in and saw this fan installed I'd be pretty pleased with it.

Pull chains clicked on the light. I slit pond tiube hoising to cover the chains. Then the fixture shook real badly & we adjusted it to hopefully keep it steady & low noise.
