I was fairly skeptical about this item as the price was substantially less than other ones I looked at. I initially tried it with just the dust bag that came with it. It wasn't too bad, capturing a fair amount of dust, but after hooking up a shop vac to it, it was almost dust-free. I had to rig the shop vac connection because the fittings on the unit are pretty unique, but I found some adapters at the home improvement store that I was able to modify and get a pretty solid connection. The sander isn't terribly heavy, though over time it gets a little unwieldy. Some others have commented that they used a ladder to make a fulcrum to help with the weight. It has adjustable suction on the head itself, but with the shop vac connected, it pulls in 99% of the dust. The handle is adjustable also so if you have high ceilings, or low ones for that matter, you can adjust the length of the handle to find the length that's most comfortable for you.

This thing saved me tons of time. I am a GC. It would be 5 star but its on board suction doesn't really work, which is silly to think it would. Anyone using one of these from any brand should always hook up to a shop vac. Its light but does what you need it to. Easily my most profitable tool bought this year.
