The tool itself works quite well.From a human perspective, it's relatively quiet and is comfortable for the dog and easy to use.However, if your dog hates having their nails trimmed, do not expect them to just sit for you and happily get a pedicure.You will still have to go through a process of getting the stuff accustomed to the process. It's easier than conventional clippers, but the first few times I tried to use these the dog would bolt if he even saw me have the tool in my hand.Ultimately, I had to take an "iron hand in a velvet glove" approach and just force the dog to allow me to use the tool in him (for his benefit as much as ours).He is slowly getting desensitized to having his nails pedicured, and we make a little more progress each time.

I'm a groomer. I ordered my first one back in June 2020. I've used this model on several dogs and have 2 of my own that I have also used it on weekly for 4 years. It finally broke down after I dropped it on the concrete of our patio as I prepared to do my dogs' nails. Otherwise, I'm sure it would've lasted me another year or so. I ordered a new one this week. (once it's done it's easy)* The attachment release button is very easy to press while using, which can be a little dangerous if the drill bit is released while working on a dog.Overall, a great product for any pet owners and groomers. I only use the mandrel attachment and sand bands. I order some similar sized "Merryland Drum Sander" brand 120 grit sand bands for a smoother finish because the Dremel brand sand bands are expensive and I switch each one between dogs, unless they're from the same household. Buy it. Sure, it's pricey, but you save yourself money on the long run. Dedicate 5 minutes a day to just have your dog used to you holding their paws, the sound, and the presence of the Dremel and it'll be so easy for you.

This dremmel is about the same weight as the old version, however the weight is more evenly distrubuted verses having the having battery at the bottom with the last one. It has 4 speeds which is awesome with the different level of sounds our dogs at the salon can handle. The safety mechanism is easy to change as well as super easy to change to a standard head. The quality is superb. It fits easily in our hands and the locking mechanism makes it easy to to not turn on if you're a traveling groomer. We only bring ours home when we want to get our personal dogs nails done. The battery seems to be more efficient than our old one. Hoping this one lasts for several years like our last one did!Update: using it on almost a daily, we've had it for 9.5 months and it completely died on us. Battery wont charge anymore. While it works well, Im sad that this is the upgraded version as the old version lasted 2+ years before we would have to replace it.

This is great. I bought one before this just one of those mail trimmers with the diamond grinder it was a joke after getting this one I now see how bad the other one was. This is like a professional groomer tool. This has power and grinds the mail so fast it’s great. With my old one I had to do one nail forever this takes seconds and your done. So much better quality this is a solid tool with a little weight to it witch is good. It’s wireless and rechargeable but that doesn’t effect the strength and speed because it works super good. I absolutely love it and wish it was my first buy. Now I tell people about it so they don’t make the same mistake. It works really well and grinds the nails super quick ( please remember when cutting your dogs nails that these heat up and the heat goes to the nail so please if your doing your dogs nails please remember to grind for a second and then take a break so it doesn’t heat up and hurt or burn them witch makes them pull away. You could stop for a min or goto the next nail and then go back to it cause it gets hot in seconds).I definitely recommend this dremel for anyone. I don’t always do my dogs nails I take him to the groomer because I don’t feel safe getting down low on the nail but grinder makes it so much easier for me to keep them shorter in between the groomer since they grow fast. This grinder grinds the mail right back down so fast and I feel much safer to grains gradually instead of cutting. This was definitely a great purchase. Also if you have a dog that doesn’t like there nails done the one and two speed is pretty quiet and it’s so quick that you can get it done quicker and less stress in your pup. It comes with a few disks and pieces to get you started so you can see what works best for you. The sanding disks hold up or last pretty good to.All around great tool

Super Produkt… endlich mit Ladekabel, statt mit Batterien. Es kürzt wunderbar die Krallen und das sicherer als mit einer Krallenzange. Zumindest bei schwarzen und dicken Krallen wie beim Schäferhund.

Love that it is quiet just have to relax the dog to be able to use it but really hopeful it's as good as the adverts

Works well, I like the guard. Really easy to use and easier than clipping. Keeps nails nice and trimmed.
