I purchased this product along with a magnetic stove shelf (www.amazon.com/dp/B0716G9G3X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) to see which would work better to cover/fill the gap behind a slide in range.There is a recessed area on the back of the range where the gas line tucks into, but Murphy's Law that in our case, the gas valve line on the back of the range lines up perfectly with where the gas line comes out of the wall. Because of this, there is no way (short of moving the gas line) that the range can slide all the way back to the wall.This LG range comes with a gap filler, but it only fills about a 1.5" space. In our case, the gap was closer to 3".The magnetic stove shelf worked, but the magnets only adhered to the 1.5" spacer. The rest of it extended back over the gap space and was braced up by the wall. I think that would have worked, but we took that off then tried this.Rather than use the adhesive brackets that come with this, we just pushed the range as far back as it would go, then wedged this in the gap. We put the long pointy end down into the gap with the flat wide side flat against the back wall. The fit was tight and the wedge did not slide all the way down into the gap. This actually worked beautifully because the flat narrow side creates a little raised cantilevered shelf/ledge that sits about an inch above stove height. It looks perfectly built in and intentional - - - not like a "filler" or mistake hider at all.In our case, the 2 sides of the backsplash are cut to almost exactly 30" apart. This means that this triangle wedges in tightly on both sides. The "V" also wedges tightly in the gap between the wall and the range. It's in there so tightly that even if you pull the range out, it still stays wedged in between the backsplash sides.It looks fantastic too. It blends with the metal of the iron cooktop grates and looks like it was built in and a part of the range - - - doesn't look like an add on or jerry rigged gap filler.The narrow ledge that the wedge provides is just at 1.5" deep. This was installed in a rental property and the tenants have already commented that the ledge is a handy bonus and holds their salt/pepper and a small spritzer bottle of olive oil.A few photos are attached although it really doesn't show the detail well with the reflection and dark colors, I hope it gives a good idea of what I tried to describe in words.Form and function!

What a wonderful find. It is so true You can always find what you need on Amazon, no matter how unique. This was a perfect solution for the space between my new stove and the wall. It was easy to install, and it solve the problem. I had perfect the fact that this can turn to different angles is what makes it so unique. I had a two or 3 inch gap between the stove and the wall which was so unsightly and this gadget solved my problem as you can see from these two photos. It looks like it’s part of the stove. Solved my problem beautifully

The quality of the filler is very impressive. The instructions were a little sparse, but straight forward. I would have kept this item, but the LG Gas Slide-in Stove I purchased included one, not the same but simpler to install.

A very nice filler piece for the back of a free standing stove. It fit very nicely and fills up any gap you might have. It also arrived when promised.

BEAUTIFUL!!! I hated the open area in the back of my new induction range. Someone suggested this as a way to "finish" off the look in the back, and BOY and I'm glad I listened. It was so well made and a steal for the price. It was super easy to install and I look amazing.

The size was wrong for the space that I needed.  However, the product was goo, unfortunately I had to return.Functionality:The desire function was good, but the product didn't fit the space I needed it to fill.

We recently replaced our stand-alone gas range with an induction top slide-in electric range. The disconnected and capped gas pipe left a 1.5 inch gap between the back of the range and our backsplash. We needed something to fill the rear space to prevent food and liquids from falling behind the range. When GE had no adequate fix, we purchased this product, based on other customer reviews. We are in awe of how quickly it resolved the problem. The part dropped in quickly and looks great, totally sealing that area. A 1 - minute fix! Pressing HARD on the piece did cause it to drop some, but for the short term, it is perfect. We will install after the holiday rush and love the fact that the installation promises to be quick and easy, and the kit includes an option that does not require drilling into our granite or the adjacent cabinets.

Perfect fit and looks better than what my stove came with to fill the gap. I attached some rubber feet to the ends to help it stay in place. Easy to clean and can be removed easily.
