Love this meter and the ease of use. I’ve used other Klein products and have always been impressed by their quality. This meterIs no different. For general electrical troubleshooting this product will more than suffice. Can beat it for the value.

I bought with the only intention of using on my car's fuse and relay box, but for the price, you get a wall plug check device and power outlet checker. Also Klein tools are always good and I am glad I got now a proper multi-meter in the mix. I am not much of an electrical person, but this just makes it simple, it comes also with great and small instruction how every works.

Everything works! Cheap price good quality. The DMM might not have some of the functions you may need if looking to become an electrical journeyman. However great starter set!

For the price, it is a good basic DMM. Mainly have it for checking AC/DC voltages. Seems to work fine and readings are stable. I had an older off brand version that had floating readings and ate 9v batteries. It was about the same price as this, but this is way better and comes with other items. It takes AA batteries instead of 9V, which is preferred by me. The voltage sniffer and outlet circuit tester work as intended. Nothing bad about this set. Works as advertised. I'd buy again.

Great combination of tools. Although I am not great with electricity, I use all these tools frequently in my projects. The plug indicator has helped me greatly with replacing wall sockets, and helped me trace circuits for my electrical panel.

First off, I want to clarify that I am not an electrician, but my brother is and he helped me a lot. I had an issue with one circuit in my house. It started with my living room light going on and off. Then the problem got worse. Everything on that circuit quit working and I turned the breaker off. I have a multimeter, but I am not qualified to troubleshoot with it. So, I bought this because of the circuit tester. The shipping was good I had it within 2 days. The circuit tester is so easy to use, and it is the best way to troubleshoot wiring problems. I plugged it in, and it showed open neutral. I opened every plug, switch and light on that circuit. All the wiring showed good. I was about to give up when I began to look for a hidden outlet. I found it behind my sofa. I plugged the tester in and it showed ground and hot crossed, which means a short. I opened the receptacle, and it had melted one side of the plug. Luckily, the wiring was not too damaged. I replaced the receptacle, and the problem has been resolved. For $40 this saved me a lot of money and some time diagnosing the problem. I am not an electrician, but I do have some knowledge about electricity and wiring. The multimeter is accurate, and the tester is very useful for troubleshooting. It is easy to read and simple to use. It also comes with a proximity tester to insure everything is off before working on electricity. I am not sure about the battery life but it takes 2 AAA batteries. and I am certain that no more than I will use it the batteries should last a while. Thank you, Klein, for this kit. It saved the day for me.

waste of money. unfortunatly did not keep the packaging so could not return. description was not clear, order from Amazon KSA so assumed it will work with 220V. it does not!

The voltage tester works fine and I'm sure the multi meter will as well. But the socket tester is useless for UK sockets. Pretty poor from both Amazon and Klein to sell it this way.It's a real pity, as the items look good quality. Disappointing.

Whilst the multimeter and tester should be fine, the socket tester is NOT UK spec. It shouldn’t be sold on the UK site as suitable. Bought from the Klein store direct so expected better. Too late to return for exchange so close to Xmas 2024
