I have 6 of these. They work great, the video quality is good, and the app is easy to navigate. A little bit of a pain to connect to wifi when taking the cameras with, but nothing too awful. These are used to watch our dogs when out of the crate; the ability to adjust where the camera is facing is what made me get it. Works well. Even when there’s no lights in the camera quality is decent. I also like that you can talk through the camera as well, I will say it is lagged a little— the sound is a few behind when you speak over the app. Size of the camera makes it easy to place and easy to pack if taking it with.

These cameras are perfect. Why did I choose this product over other brands:ProsThe price point is perfect especially if you are looking to order multiple devices. Tapo is compatible with Alexa, so when there’s a notification on a camera Alexa can announce it. The app is straight forward and easy to use. You can take Live Photos and Videos through the app. The pan/tilt range is amazing and I like that you can put the cam in privacy mode. You can set different areas to alert you when there is specific activity going on (person detection, pet detection, motion tracking, vehicle detection) these features are great. There’s also an alarm that can be set to go off when someone is in your motion detection zone. The picture quality is comparable to higher priced cameras if not better. I have tried other brands and I am truly impressed and completely satisfied with Tapo products.Con’s:The only con I have is that I didn’t find out about these sooner.I highly recommend Tapos line of cameras. I am a satisfied customer.

Simple setup. The video quality is quite impressive for the price point. The night vision is clear. Updates are easy to complete. Make sure you go to the Tapo website for compatible memory cards. I am very pleased with this purchase. I wouldn't think twice about buying again.

4 stars because of the voice/talk delay that would occur utilizing that feature. All other aspects of this monitor is 5 stars. I was suprised when I realized the app, still open about 15 miles away, was still operable as if I was still in my house. I used this so I could be more on point with helping my mom, who had become diagnosed with an illness and her bedroom was located at the other end of the house. She easily could call out my name, the monitor would alert my phone or earbud. So ideal for my need. Took me a minute to get connected to my wifi initially, after and ongoing there was never connectivity issues. I had always plug in the unit and set atop a dresser. Easily, I had a view of the entire room, easy to use the directional arrows and the clarity was so good, even at night. . I purchased on a deal, good choice for the money, good reviews sealed my decision.

I bought this to check on my dog when I am not home. I previously had a blink, which was about a year and a half old. This is an upgrade at half the price! Easy setup and the app is simple to use. The video and sound quality is much better than the blink I had. It’s aesthetically better looking on a shelf/mantle than the blink with pan/tilt. You can set it to notify you of motion and even has an alarm. I do not need the cloud monitoring/saving option, but you can put an SD card in it if you want to save video. It even has an option to alert you of a baby crying if you wanted to use this is a baby monitor. Great value. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

Bought this camera to watch my puppy while I am at work. Works great, able to talk through it. Clear image and can see in the dark!

This little camera blew me away for the price, there’s a slight delay but it doesn’t bother me, I love all the features, there’s video quality is great and it was easy to set up and connect.
