The slider bags stay closed for wrapping your groceries and stacking in the freezer with no leaks, no odors, and no air if you carefully squeeze the air out as you slide it is closed. And 74 bags for a very good low price. What a bargain! The quart size is perfect and looks great as they are clear so you can actually see what is in the bag when you look for an item in the freezer. The versatility of wrapping newly divided hamburger from the grocery store for individual hamburgers or leftovers. You decide!

We use these Hefty Slider Freezer bags in the gallon size for so many things. When we buy deli lunch meat on sale, my wife portions it out and freezes in one of these bags. Therefore, there are generally bags of salami, good deli pepperoni, ham and turkey breast in the freezer. She can just grab whatever she plans to make for my lunch, thaw overnight and there's never been a lack of freshness. We like to take advantage of the deli deal that Safeway often has on Fridays, where you can get a pound of their best meats and cheeses for $5 a lb. Another way we use these bags is to contain all the open packages of various size batteries that used to be rolling around in a big drawer. Now, each type has their own bag. When I need a couple AA batteries - boom, there they are. My wife sometimes freezes cookies in these bags, and will often utilize them for marinating meats or veggies to grill. She also keeps one for garden greens she washes and spins dry, then puts a paper towel in there. Keeps the greens crisp and fresh. She rinses those bags out and reuses, which is great. The only thing that happened, was once or twice, the zipper was messed up. Otherwise, these are great bags for sure.

They're are roomy and strong. Only problem is that the zipper came off a few.

The only freezer bags I buy now. Easy open and closure. It is a bit thin and easy to poke through with pointy stuff like shrimp head but some held up pretty well with wash and reuse. Overall made meal prep so much easier. Keeping it on subscription.

I've used plenty of plastic bags and I keep coming back to the slider style. The little zipper mechanism just makes them easier to use.With regular zip-top bags I'm always wondering if I got teh entire seal closed. With these it's quick, obvious and takes less effort. Just slide it across and you're done.I've used them for leftovers, chopped vegetables, and various odds and ends that needed to go in the freezer. They've held up well and I haven't had issues with leaks or bags popping open.The writable label area is handy too.Not the most exciting product to review but they're solid freezer bags and the slider closure is the reason I keep buying them.
