It is really comfortable. I just should have bought a bigger size…that’s my fault though

This blanket is exactly like fur only not! I personally love mine however, two unexpected events happened 1) My mother slipped off the bed - do NOT place it over the edge of the bed, it is slippery. 2) My daughter refused the gift because it looks too much like real fur and it bothered her.

In fact, the item is even better in real life than in the pictures shown in the Amazon store or in some of the reviews provided. A photo does not do it justice. It's absolutely breathtaking.It looks and feels like real fur, even though it's faux. Even better, it has no unusual or unpleasant aroma.The outer part of the throw feels like soft animal fur—almost like mink or other luxurious animal skin—except it's 100% faux. But it looks like real fur.The underside is like a soft velvet that feels even softer. The throw is fluffy, thick, warm, and incredibly cozy. If I left it unattended for even a few minutes, my husband would grab it off my media chair and wrap up in it. He adored it so I bought one for him to have matching throws.The throw is very high quality, doesn't shed, and is heavy enough to work as a blanket on a chilly night. It's great for taking naps. The velvet underside feels extremely soft against my skin. The edges stayed put, and the throw is so well-made that I can see it lasting a very long time.The blanket is machine-washable if washed along and in cold water. It's easy to shake it off or lightly brush off any crumbs from food, although I make it a point not to eat near it. We love this throw. It is warm and big enough to cover a couch napper. The upper layer feels very much like real fur and looks like it too. The under layer is a soft, cozy velvet. So, really comfy. Now, we have to have a coin toss to see who gets to use it today.Another plus for me is that the cat does not like the blanket. So putting it over the back of the couch keeps her from clawing up the furniture. This probably won’t work for everyone, but I like the blanket even more for it.Just so you know, this blanket is fairly heavy. So you would want to use caution with it and very small children. I do think the weight is part of what makes it so effective for napping—it’s like a weighted blanket, only not so heavy.The box that the blanket comes in is a very sturdy one that will be perfect for storing it for the summer. All in all this throw is a keeper for us.

It arrived. I opened it. The box was impressive. I will store it annually in this box. It's super sturdy.The throw is beautiful. The colors and fur (faux) are taste specific. The value in the price is going to depend on how specific your taste in fur is. I can't think of what animal it would look like but maybe that's the point. Let's say it's Jackalope for reference.My Jackalope fur throw is super functional, a little heavy, and warm. It will be a seasonal item and will be stored in a cool place in the summer, but it will be used. I only found one downside. The edges tend to roll inward occasionally. Pushing from the inside out, it only takes a minute to correct, but it is worth noting.I love this Jackalope fur, you will too.
