I actually bought a second one in case anything ever happens to the first one. I really wanted my 5 pound yorkie to be able to be on a retractable leash, the issue for me was I frequently work at coffee shops, and the other ones I tried didn't have an easy way to anchor it while I was sitting. This one solves that issue, as it's easy to loop my arm through. It also looks cool. The poop bag didn't stay on very well, so I removed it, but that's not a big deal for me, as I have one in my tote. The interesting thing about this was, I thought I would use a retractable leash to give her more room, but as it turns out, I often use it to give her less room on a crowded sidewalk in Manhattan. Then I can switch to giving her more room when we have more space and when she wants to explore something while I keep control. The brake function works very well and it's all very intuitive. I wouldn't mind an extra 5 feet and a bit thicker tape, but maybe they will change that in the next iteration.

This leash is super convenient! It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and fits perfectly around my wrist when I need both hands free. It makes walks so much easier and I love the simple color choices.CONS: If your pet loves more freedom to roam, this leash may feel a bit short.

Really like this style and setup - being able to do hands-free is great and the leash works well. The bag holder fell off during a hike and I didn’t realize it, and wish the company had a way to order a replacement. The style makes it impossible to find another bag holder that fits the leash, unless you want something dangling off it, which I don’t.

I ordered one of these leashes over a year ago. After a year of use, the old one stopped retracting. Since I loved it so much, I ordered two more. One stopped retracting today, and I was disappointed that it happened in three months. So I opened the second one, and it was a used, broken, trashed leash! Very disappointing.Update: Moestar responded to my feedback with an apology and refunded the cost of the broken, trashed, leash that I previously received. I ordered a new leash with the refund and am satisfied with their response and love the leash. The large open handle fits over my wrist when I clean up after my dog. My mittened hand can easily fit in the opening as well. Thank you!

The leash works fine overall, but I didn’t love that it’s not long enough for walking my dog in the park. I prefer a bit more length so my dog can move more freely. Also, the bag adapter falls off very easily, and I ended up losing it. It’s still a decent leash and easy to use, but those details could definitely be improved.

Very disappointed by this product. The circular design is great and the attachable poop bag is perfect. Unfortunately it does not retract. I pulled it out to test it and it would retract very slowly and it took a couple of pulls to get it to go back in. I tried using it with my dog and it completely stopped working. Too bad really because the design is so functional.

This is my fav leash for my dog. I’ve lost a couple while traveling and forgot a couple in different places and I keep on re-ordering this exact model because I find it the most comfortable. I just put my arm through it and have it hanging on my wrist as I’m walking and barely hold the thing. I can carry things in my hands while the leash handle is on my wrist. Very helpful compared to some models where you have to hold it with your hand. Just wanted to mention my dog is about 12 pounds and she doesn’t really walk further than 5 inches away from me lol. But even if she wanted to run, the stopping button works pretty well.

This was sort of an impulse buy. I didn't really need it because I already have two retracting leashes. I liked the look of it, though, and the notion of being able to put it on my arm and have both hands free while still having good control of my dog sounded like a good idea. I ordered the one with red trim. It came right away and was in a nice box. It has a very nice look and feel and appears to be a quality item.A challenge when taking my dog with me on errands has always been having one hand tied up with holding the leash, and this solves that problem. I tried it a day or two ago with great success. I took my small Jack Russell Terrier with me to do couple of errands. I needed some things at the market, so I locked the leash at a reasonable length to keep my dog near me, and put the leash 'ring' over my arm, leaving both hands free for shopping. It worked really well!I love it, and probably won't be taking the other leashes with me when I take Moxie out shopping with me any more. In fact, I may order a second one just to have on hand.The only 'con' is the lock. It's a little fussy to use, and sometimes I have to stop and focus for a minute on getting it to lock or unlock properly. I wish they'd put the lock on top so it could be controlled with thumb instead of finger, but maybe I'll get used to it over time and it will loosen up and become smoother to use with some wear and age on it.

I had the old version of this where the bag dispenser would go loose all the time because the silicone belt on the dispenser was simply held on by a dot-shaped spike that pierced through the belt. This new version has a long oval spike on with more grip so the dispenser never fell off. I threw away the old one simply because I dropped it in a lot of dirt and poo but it was a great product that lasted many months. I'm very happy about this new version! Such a clever design that allows you to use both hands for something else or keep warm in the pocket during cold weather!
