Purchased: July 2025 during Amazon Prime DayFrequency of use: 2-3 times a week to the office, also use on business tripsUse case: Company issued RTO last spring and due to the length of the commute / remote location of the office, I have to bring my own lunch. I was tired of carrying an insulated lunch bag like a child and wanted to feel fashionable even if just for myself. This is essentially a laptop tote with an insulated compartment. GENIUS.Durability of materials: Faux pebble grain leather that has taken an absolute beating and still looks fantastic. No peeling edges or corners. Stitching remains sturdy. Because it can be left open on top, I've weighted it down with hardback books, power banks and large (heavy) gaming-quality laptops. I was so sure on a couple of trips the straps would begin to lose their integrity. Not at all!Functionality: this bag is insane. On the front, it has a large pocket that's perfect for stashing employee badges, passes, etc. You could drop your phone in here but I don't because there are two dedicated pockets inside for phones so my work and personal phone ride side-by-side secure from weather / pickpockets. The inside also features a largish lined zipper pocket against the side for keys, makeup, the things you don't want to lose in the bottomless pit of the middle (non-removable) zipper pouch. Said pouch divides the interior of the bag into two, so my laptop and its battery charger / other electronics go on one side and all my other items like my folio, moleskine, etc. go on the other side. The insulated compartment on the back side of the bag is expandable so even if you have items inside the bag there's still room for food. Of course, if the inner compartment of the bag next to the insulated section is empty, you can fit even more food. Plus, just above the insulated compartment is a trolley slot so you can put the bag on your luggage handle.Zippers: I read reviews that complained about the integrity of the zippers and actually exchanged the first bag I bought because the zippers didn't glide smoothly from the start. There are a total of four zippers on this bag so it's important they all work. FYI, they are very bright gold.Design: Someone put tremendous thought into this bag. Instead of just a rectangle, the top edge is very gently curved so it intuitively gives a vibe of feminity. The zippers are scratch-resistant (which is more than can be said for the clochette charm padlock I bought for it) and all four pulls, even the interior ones, are contoured. The bag has a crossbody strap and the rings were intentionally placed diametrically opposite each other instead of in the middle of the structure. This reduces the bouncing effect when you walk with it hanging against your body. The effect of the bag silhouette is very reminiscent of a famous French laptop tote nicknamed "of the day" but this is by no means a dupe. It's a high-functioning bag with an insulated compartment.Side note about the "leather": if it gets wet (raindrops, splashed coffee) it will feel sticky. No worries! Just wipe it clean / dry and the stickiness will go away.It's my hope this review will persuade others to also benefit from this bag and for the brand Team Tala to continue making it. It's so amazing I keep thinking I need to buy another just in case this one fails but I'm holding off at the moment because this one still looks and acts almost new.

A beautiful, versatile, and durable bag! I use it for work, shopping, and outings with my baby. The material feels strong and the seams are well stitched. Definitely a step up in quality from what I expected.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve had mixed reviews since day 1. While I felt the bag was a bit on the pricier side, I chose this bag over others because I liked the professional look. However upon receiving, the front food storage area was clearly sewn together in a sloppy manner slightly reducing the storage space, and the zipper caught in several areas and could not be zipped or unzipped without using both hands. While these were minor irritations at first, I decided to give it a try. The food storage area, once filled with a decent lunch then makes the storage compartments pretty useless. I can put a slim laptop and a file folder in - that’s it. My wallet and small planner sit on top of the food area, sticking out of the top of the bag so now you can’t zip the bag shut. Again, this was minor until this week when the strap just broke, spilling my contents all over my parking lot. For the almost $60 cost I paid and just barely 3 months use, I would not say the quality is worth the cost. So while this looks like a high end professional tote for the business professional, it has proven to provide no other benefit

The bag was nice but the zippers on the lunch box compartment don't work around the curves. I guarantee I'd break the zipper in the first week if I kept it.

This tote bag was the perfect size, however, within the first 3 days, the bag started collapsing if there wasn’t anything inside the insulated area. Once it did that, the bag leaned over too much. I loved the look, size and material of this, but it was too expensive to keep the bag being it lost its shape so quickly. If it had reinforced sides within the insulated part, it would be perfect!

Great pulse for work. Has enough space for my wife's laptop and snacks for throughout the day. Quality above expected from the price with nice sliding zippers and great touch, smooth and soft outside layers but thick. Seems durable. Love the two straps but the best feature is it fits in my luggage handle for more convenient airport travels. Great gift for a working woman!

This is the best office lunch bag purse

Nice bag, a little stiff & bigger than I expected soI didn't think I'd actually use it, so I tried to return it, but it was going to cost me almost as much as the bag in shipping because it was international!! So guess I'm keeping it, or maybe sell it to someone.

Strap broke yesterday and I barely had anything in my bag. Just my MacBook Air. Very disappointing. I have only had the bag since February 28.

My wife loves this..i stead of dragging multiple bags to work, this does it all...and she gets comments constantly on the style...really impressed

As soon as you put something in the lunch compartment you have no room in the actual bag.. This morning i had a small salade container and an small sauce container and has a hard time putting in my laptop comfortably. I didnt have much in the bag, 1 or 2 charging cables, a few pens, my work phone and my work badge, laptop didnt sit right when the lunch container were in.
