Great paint.

Bright paint dries fast! Love it!

I am not a painter. My wife and I took a class at our local Museum of Fine Art about a year ago and simply had a wonderful time. We have since acquired some of the necessary items to paint but only a small amount of actual paint was among our acquisitions. The class we took used acrylic paint and we both agreed it is a fairly friendly medium. So when this opportunity presented itself I was quick to place the order. I do, in fact, find the idea of painting on fabric to be very appealing. Plain white t-shirts are inexpensive and abundant. The outcome of the painting itself is of no great import to either of us. We have just discovered how much we enjoy painting and giving some reign to our creative inner being (or whatever hip phrase sounds most impressive). Plus we are willing to wear the t-shirts to knock around in (mostly at home) so they don’t go to waste.I very much like the idea of acquiring the four primary colors along with one container of white and one of black. For our purposes this should pretty much cover whatever color needs we may have, at least for now. I played with three of the colors (yellow, green, and blue) for a while, simply applying paint to a stained old cotton dish towel. The colors seemed bright and true to me (again, not an artist) and having a soft and creamy texture they spread nicely.The manufacturer claims the paint will hold up well and endure washing. Only time will tell about that and I’ll let you know when I have some further information.This is a LOT of paint and will doubtless last us a good long time. For the amount of paint and what seems to be a product of good quality, the price appears reasonable to me.I recommend these paints!Have fun, be creative, and love yourself enough to let the “inner critic” go suck an egg.

These are great paints and are nice and bright!We used these for a teens Birthday Party where everyone could paint their own jeans and it was a huge hit! The paint was a nice thicckness and the colors were bright! Highly recommend!

All of the primary colors and large bottle with decently thick paint but not too thick that it is like peanut butter. The colors are vibrant and work very well on fabric like they are supposed to but they exceeded my expectations. It feels and looks like a shirt graphic material and does not seem to flake, feels soft, and definitely has good coverage so I did not need to use a lot of paint to get this stroke. It dries decently quick and I sadly cannot attest to how well it holds up to washes yet but I will report back when I do if something goes awry and I have tried to "wipe" it off and it appears to be holding well. I highly recommend these paints if you're looking for some quality fabric paint since $40 is a little steep you do get a lot of paint and the main colors you need to mix any other color you desire. Perfect for arts and crafts or if you want to revive or "spice" up some old clothes and/or furniture. Does not have any strong odors at all and I did have one kind of explode when opening upon arrival so I would advise to let them rest a bit upright before opening them after delivery and maybe open them over a paint allowed area. Overall these get the job done and the included brushes are not cheap nor bad quality while they also give you a sponge and a palette.

Great item didn’t smear works really well. I loved it. I did a project with the kids and they were thrilled. Works really well with stencils. I would totally highly recommended three thumbs up great value for the money.

I've had a lot of different kinds of paint and not all are created equal. I was a little worried that this particular paint would be more like finger paint -- the kind that tends to be thin and doesn't coat well because it's easy to wash away. But I was most definitely wrong because this is high quality paint that goes on smoothly and creates bold, vibrant colors. Yet somehow it's still easy to wash away any mistakes, like paint on my hands, for example. I'm very impressed with these paints and i will definitely order again. These are high quality yet affordable. I very highly recommend them!(Pictured is a board I painted using the red paint from this set).

This is a full set of vibrant colors. The paint dries with a beautiful glossy finish. I use these for painting on canvas rather than fabric or shoes. Each color comes in a 4oz tube, making it easy to see how much remains. The paint spreads nice and evenly on the canvas and the colors blend well together. This is an acrylic based paint, so like all acrylics, it dries to a state that is similar to a plastic coating. So, it is waterproof and very durable by nature. For the price, this works out to be a very economical set of paints.

I am thrilled with these fabric paints which I received courtesy of the Vine programme.Firstly, I was shocked at the quantity that turned up in good sized, 250 ml plastic bottles, big enough to put in a school art room!!! 14 bottles, with all the primary colours for mixing, which they do very well + a silvery and a gold colour and some other pretty, deeply pigmented shades. Amazing value for £43.98. You also receive a mixing palette and some brushes - not great one's but, if you enjoy painting, you no doubt have a decent set of your own or, could buy some more.The product itself is creamy and so easy to apply not just on fabric but, you can use it on any surface that you want to paint on such as canvas, card, in your art book.What I have not succeeded in doing, which I wanted to for this review, is wash my fabric painted pillowcase so see what the staying power was like and, sorry, I cannot comment on that, but have no reason to doubt the manufacturer's claims as to durability. But in terms of acrylic painting kits generally, this is one to treat yourself to or, the children...suitably covered head to toe with protective gear (and the surrounding surface although it wipes off if you get to it quickly).The other great point is that these paints are non-toxic making them safe and suitable for children. Really impressive and recommended.

For some reason, I never thought to use paint!The kit includes several large bottles of paint in six different colors, which is more than enough for me. I’ll probably stick to about three colors, but it’s great to have the variety. With this amount of paint, I can tackle both small and large projects for a long time.Additionally, the kit comes with several accessories, including brushes, stencils, a sponge, and a paint tray. In my opinion, the brushes are surprisingly good. I'm not an artist or a painter, but I’ve used other kits with low-quality brushes, and these have nice bristles. The other items are fairly basic; even the stencils are just stickers and quite small. However, I was able to use a couple of them and remove them from the white sheet to use again, so you can get multiple uses out of them.I tested the paint on a piece of linen before applying it to any clothing. The yellow stencils shown in the pictures used just one thicker coat, and I was pleasantly surprised by the results. I expected it to feel a bit rough to the touch, but to my surprise, it was softer and more flush than I imagined. It doesn’t come off easily when scratched with my nails. Once it fully cured for over 24 hours, it also held up well in the wash, so I believe this will last a while.I think this is a great kit for having fun with kids or for anyone artistic who wants to create their own designs. Considering the size of the bottles and what is included, I believe it is worth the money.

Die Farben kommen lichtgeschützt im Karton. Sie sind zähflüssig bis leicht pastös und laufen nicht sofort vom Pinsel/Schwamm. Man kann sie riechen, doch ist der Geruch nicht unangenehm.Wir hatten 6 Farben im Set, bzw. 3 Farben und Schwarz/Weiss. Weitere Farben lassen sich, solange es frisch ist, leicht mischen. Der Farbton bleibt auch beim Trocknen erhalten, es entmischt sich nicht. Ebenso kann man die Farben problemlos mit Wasser verdünnen, dann tropfen sie allerdings. Der milchige Charakter der frischen Farbe ändert sich leicht zu etwas durchsichtig beim Trocknen. Dadurch entstehen beim Übermalen dann auch Mischfarben, die man bei direkter Sonnenstrahlung sehen kann.Die Farben sind auf der Hülle eines selbstgebauten Tipis vermalt, bzw. teilweise auch mit dem Schwamm draufgespachtelt und verrieben. So tolle Bilder, wie die aus der Artikelbeschreibung haben wir zwar nicht annähernd geschafft, doch lässt sich die Farbe gut aufbringen. Auch auf die Kleidung beim versehentlichen verreiben ist der Auftrag der Farbe gut. Das muss man sofort rauswaschen, sonst ist das dauerhaft. So wie bei uns. Die Farben waren nun einigen intensiven Sonnenstunden ausgesetzt, in den letzten Wochen dann Dauerregen, bei Wind auch mechanischer Belastung und Anfang Oktober dem ersten Nachtfrost.Dort, wo der Wind sehr am Stoff gezogen hat, sind dann auch in der Farbe kleinere Risse. Doch ist die Farbe elastisch, womit die nicht einfach von der Oberfläche bricht oder bröselt. Die Stellen, an denen wir die Farbe zu dick aufgespachtelt haben, entsteht auf der Oberfläche ein Muster aus Rissen, wie bei alten Bildern. Sieht ganz interessant aus. Die Farbe wirkt an den Stellen, wo sie aufgetragen ist, etwas imprägnierend. Dadurch entsteht bei leichter Feuchtigkeit eine Art Relief.Die Zeltplane haben wir jetzt so zusammengelegt, das möglichst wenig Farbe auf Farbe liegt, um ein Verkleben über den Winter zu vermeiden. Inwiefern die Konsistenz über den Winter aushärtet oder sich anderweitig verändert, werden wir sehen. Mit dem Ergebnis, bzw. der Haltbarkeit bin ich über die Tage seit Ende August auf dem Leinenstoff, an denen die Farben dem Wetter ausgesetzt waren, zufrieden.

Also included are a set of basic paint brushes and stencils that are sticker based.With this set, the only true disappointment was the sticker stencils. They are really small and not even close to the size of the stencil displayed on the product page images. They are clearly embellished.The paint dries well and becomes waterproof. The painted garment can be washed, longevity of the painted item has not yet been discovered. Care should be taken with the painted garment, treat as a gentle wash item.You need to clean the paint from any items it comes in contact with accidentally. If it dries, it will be more difficult to remove. Clean painting tools immediately to prevent staining or paint residue.These paints work really well on canvas bags.Recommended.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.
