Legit? I don’t have any pets. I wanted to try this PURELY for myself. There are times when I just don’t feel like being on my couch and would rather lounge about the floor on cushions. So I knew I HAD to try this piece if allowed!!It arrived quickly, had no concerns to speak of: no smells, rips, tears, runs unraveling, etc. and, per usual with memory foam, opening and letting it expand for at least 48hrs was key. After that, I appreciate the option to unzip the anti-slip bottom, ability to unzip into sections, the soft, yet firm support (for pets) and overall comfort.The only drawback for me is the fabric material. The shaggy texture is a hit/miss on its own to me, so I can only imagine how it could go to people who have pets and how that would go with shedding. However, the great flipside here is that the cover is detachable and washable on its own.Overall? It would fare MUCH better for the intended pet audience and, maybe, for kids up to 10 or so depending on size given the material and ability to keep shape. As is, this full sized adult puts it at a 3.5 – 4

I would give it more stars, but mine has holes in. I let it fluff for 24 hours and discovered it had holes in it. It is bigger than expected, came with a cute blanket. Cushion is ok, but it is made out of a foam that will more than likely be flat in a few months of use. But more concerning is the holes. I feel like I got somebody’s return.

Pro: As promised, it is oversized and thick. My dog took to it right away. (I never intended to use it myself). It easily converts from a big chair to a lounger; handy if you have more than one dog.Con: It sheds worse than any long haired dog. Multiple times a day I have to sweep it off the floor. I’m considering donating it to a rescue group because I’m so tired of the cleanup.

OK, so call me crazy, but even though I have three dogs, they don’t use this human dog bed… But the little humans do! Case in point, I have four grandsons and they love to come over and visit a lot. But they are little, so sometimes they get sleepy and they will just curl up and lay down wherever they are at. My floors are hard, so not the most comfortable. I got this human dog bed and put it under my coffee table in the family room. Now whenever the boys come over, they know that they can pull it out and lay on it if they get sleepy. It seems really comfortable and they love it! I actually got a second one because I have a huge coffee table and I can put two underneath it to store them when the kids aren’t here. But whenever they come over, they loved to pull out “their bed“! It’s been used for napping, watching TV, and even changing diapers lol! But my favorite thing was when they asked if they could have a sleepover and sleep on it overnight! I guess it really is that comfortable! Besides that, my favorite thing about it is that the cover comes off and is fully washable and dryable in the machine, so it’s no problem with little sticky hands! Now that I have these, I think I’m going to get a couple more to put upstairs in my bonus TV room for movie nights! It has definitely become a family favorite lol! Sorry dogs!

I was hoping that this dog bed would have thicker padding, but the thickness is acceptable for a pet (less comfortable for an adult person). The overall size is great. I really like that the cover can be removed and washed. The product description says it can accomodate a dog up to 220 lbs. That seems possible, but I doubt it would fit a 220 lb dog and an adult person. Maybe a 220 lb dog and a small-medium child, or a 220 lb person and a small-medium dog. I think the padding would need to be thicker to be comfortable for a 220 lb person or dog, but the padding is great for small-medium dogs and people. I like that it can be folded up when not in use (and dogs can still lay on it like a dog bed). The cover is soft and it looks nice.
