I've used other card shufflers in the past and was hoping for one that was rechargeable. This one does fit that bill and is nice but a little on the loud side of things. I'm not worried about that so much though. It works as described which is really all I need. I've not had it clog or anything so far so that makes me happy. I only knocked off one star because of the noise level.
This is an excellent card shuffling machine. It’s very convenient that it is USB rechargeable and no batteries need to be replaced. It is easy for my grandchild to use to play any of the several card games that she has along with any standard card deck. It seems to be quite sturdy, but as we have not had it all that long that has yet to be proven. I think it would be an excellent addition to anybody’s game cabinet to quickly shuffle two decks or more very efficiently and without using disposable batteries.
Good device for shuffling and love that it has a rechargeable battery built in rather than needing a ton of AA batteries like other shuffler machines. It was advertised as being quiet so 3 stars for the noise alone. It is not quiet. It isn’t louder than other machines I’ve tried but i was hopeful that it would be a softer or muted shuffle. Not a huge deal breaker - no pun intended. I do wish the tray underneath snapped in place. If you pick up the machine it just falls out. It slides and functions well but we lift it off the table and move it after the shuffle and it is kind of annoying there are two parts instead of one. Shuffles fast and handle two decks well. Defiantly slimmer and better looking than others I’ve tried and like i said the rechargeable battery is great.
So far, it works a lot better than the ones you get at Walmart but is it perfect? No, but it's still a decent card shuffler. It is battery operated and it appears to have 2 modes: 1 mode will turn the shuffler on, full blast, the other will only turn it on while you press the button. If I press the mode to turn it on, full blast, it goes so fast that half the cards get sucked into the thing with it and it doesn't do its job, at all. But if I just spot press the button, it will get through an entire deck of cards in about 2 to 3 seconds. The cards I tried were standard playing cards; cards that you get in boxed games, such as skip bo, https://amzn.to/437aHHZ, and some cards from board games, such as Raccoon Tycoon, https://amzn.to/45hqXr6; it shuffled them all. If your cards are bent, worn, or out of shape, you may experience some difficulties as if the cards can't naturally slide away from each other, then there's no way for the machine to pull in just 1 card, it will pull in 1 card and anything that happens to attach itself to the card. The good: It works decently, it's by no means a casino card shuffler but it's portable (so you can easily move it around) and in the event that the battery goes bust, you can still plug it in.The bad: It's easy to think that you can stack 3 or 4 decks worth of cards into this thing but you can't. The maximum that it can hold (before problems start to occur) is about 2 standard decks worth of cards (so about 104-108 cards), after this, the cards will go inside sideways, fall incorrectly, get stuck, etc and then the motor that starts to pull in the cards will start to make noises. And as stated it's not perfect. What I wanted to try with it, that I have not yet, because I can't find them, is my KEM cards, https://amzn.to/4mo6Eyx, these are by far the best playing cards that I have ever found; they practically hover on top of each other; so I'm interested to see how it fairs in here but since I can't find them; I will update this review when I find them. But so far, it's taken everything I've put in it and worked it one way or another. So the big question, should you buy this? That's really up to you, if I was playing a lot of board games and things (where the cards are harder to shuffle by hands because they are stiff and I don't want to bend them), then yes, this has worked far better than the ones I've gotten in the past (and it's only a tid bit more expensive than the one you get at Walmart but works better and feels more sturdy). If I was just using standard playing cards (up to 2 decks), then I can actually shuffle by hand quicker, so probably not; while this thing does work quick, each time still requires manual work to get it done (so you have to pull the cards out from the bottom, re-split them, put them on each side, and then press the button) but my wife can't shuffle 2 decks at the same time; so she has to end up breaking it into sections and shuffling the section, then mixing and shuffling the section, so for her, this thing would be fantastic as she could just stick a deck on each side, shuffle and rinse and repeat.
Not much to say about this. It works, and is easy to use. You can use it without the bottom tray in place, but it does help the cards slip into place better and lay flat. Even with the tray, you need to keep an eye on it to make sure the cards don't start binding on the side.Overall, pretty good for the price.
I like that this card shuffler is quieter than others I've used. Additionally, it is rechargeable, so it doesn't need batteries that drain quickly. It shuffles cards rapidly and can hold two decks at once. However, there are a couple of drawbacks. It tends to jam frequently, approximately once every five to six uses. The tray designed to hold the shuffled cards is not securely attached to the shuffler; if you pick up the shuffler, the tray falls out. Having the tray not secured is awkward, especially when it is full.
It's not a top of the line card shuffler, but it gets the job done. You split the deck and put a stack on each side and it shuffles them into one pile that you pull out of the bottom. One button you press and hold, then let go when all the cards are done. The other button you press to start, then press to stop once all the cards have been shuffled. You might have to adjust the card stacks if they don't flow correctly on their own. I love that it's rechargeable, so you don't have to worry about replacing batteries.
Could be better. How you say? Well, you really need to have a flat almost new deck of cards to use this. If your deck has any slight fold or bend to it, you will find yourself mis-feeding or jamming the shuffler. Work around is to put a small amount of pressure on both halves while you press the feed button. The other area of improvement would be the exit tray. If that could just snap or slide in w/out falling out, that would be ideal. Other than that, it does work and is USB rechargeable.
