I am trying different laundry detergents out to see which one has the best scent So far this one is it. Old money has a great smell and can be used for men or women. It is skin-friendly and cleans great. I had a large load so I used two cupfuls and that did the trick. The smell did not go away after I dried the clothes. I am going to try another fragrance next.

I’m pretty picky about laundry scents and I’ve already repurchased this FOUR times — that says everything honestly. It smells fresh, clean, and elevated without being overpowering or overly perfumey. The scent lingers on clothes, towels, and bedding in the best way and makes laundry feel weirdly luxurious.I also love that a little goes a long way. My laundry genuinely smells like a high-end hotel after using this. Definitely one of my favorite household splurges and I’ll keep rebuying it!

I really wanted to love this. Sweet Ash is my favorite fragrance and I love everything from Snif. So I gave this several tries in case I was doing something wrong and each time there was basically zero smell unless you shoved your face into the fabric and even then it was pretty faint. I used the detergent with the booster because of course I wanted the most oomph. The packaging is beautiful, I will be saving and reusing it. But oh my god are the measurement markings on the sides of the lids impossible to see. I have kind of dim lighting in my laundry room but the markings are just slightly raised bits of the same plastic, so I have to struggle to find and then read them. Does the detergent work? Absolutely. Clothes and towels feel great after. Does the scent booster really do anything? No. Each time I add more and more than recommended for the load size into the fabric softener tray as instructed and then once for the heck of it in with the detergent to see if that made a difference. Nada. I use cold water, as recommended. It’s money straight down the drain. So yes, while the detergent works totally fine, I’m still docking another star because the whole point of it is really that unique scent. They would be better off coming out with a scent booster you can soak into a wool ball for running in the dryer—I feel like that would work better. Maybe I can do that with their fragrance spray. All that being said, I’ve tried this multiple times and never had any scent payoff. I’ve tested it on people in case I was nose blind and no one could guess that I had used anything at all. It’s pricey, so I can’t recommend it even though the detergent aspect is fine. I really wanted to love it.

works well as a detergent, the scent is absolutely amazing. i wish they made dryer sheets. after wash and dry the scents are subtle which i prefer. if your looking for something strong scented that lingers like Gain this is not for you, but if you are sensitive to strong smells and want subtle and luxurious this is it! i have sensitive skin and this detergent hasn't triggered any reactions so far. my only complaint is the price tag for such a small amount. i only use this for towels, bedding, and my comfy lounge wear.

I wasn’t sure if I’d like the way this smelled at first, but it’s really grown on me. The scent lasts a long time.

Absolute garbage. Very expensive garbage. There was no scent at all, even after using increasingly more and more product. Very disappointing from a company that does make some excellent items.

A little truly goes a long way. If you’re used to super strong, overpowering laundry scents, this might seem subtle, but for someone like me who’s been deprived my whole life, it smells absolutely perfect.And the best part? No irritation. At all. That alone makes this a game changer.Right now I’m literally sitting here smelling my workout shirt in the “Old Money” scent… and somehow it does NOT smell like a workout shirt. It smells amazing…suspiciously amazing.Highly recommend. I’m officially subscribed and saved, and honestly just thrilled to finally have great-smelling laundry without the consequences.Mission accomplished!

So I thought this smelled wonderful in the bottle but it left no scent on my linens. I’m an esthetician and my shop creates a lot of laundry each week and I don’t have a washer and dryer in it so 2 or 3 times a week I’ll go to the laundromat. I wash all my linens in the big washer (holds four loads) and wash in hot water. I used an entire cap because it was the equivalent of four loads and there was no scent after they were dried. So the second time I used two caps to see if that made a difference and still no scent after drying.The whole point of me trying Snif was to find a less expensive alternative to Laundry Sauce but this product just doesn’t cut it for me. I also tried the Snif scent booster liquid in “old money” and same exact thing: smells fantastic in the bottle but doesn’t last. I know a lot of people are gonna say “it’s because you wash in hot water” but other non toxic brands have better scent “hang time”. Laundry Sauce was the best but even Method scent lasts longer than the Snif and its less than half the price.
