The jute material feels durable and holds up really well to daily use. It was also easy to put together and looks nice in the house with the brown base. The POMESEA Cat Scratching Post was priced at $49.99 when I reviewed it. I really like how it looks. It has a cute, natural look that fits nicely with beach-themed or natural home decor. It adds a bit of charm without clashing with my style.One of the best features for my cat is that it combines so many fun things into one piece: the scratching post, dangling balls, a turntable, and a spring pom pom toy. My cat seems to really enjoy the variety of enrichment options, which keeps her entertained and active. It’s also pretty easy to put together, which I appreciate. It didn’t take much time to assemble, and it feels sturdy once put together.On the flip side, I do have a few concerns. The leaves are made of wire, plastic, and fabric, so if your cat tends to chew, you’ll want to keep an eye on them. The leaves sit loosely in the slot on top of the pole and don’t seem very secure, so I wouldn’t expect them to stay perfectly in place over time. Lastly, I find the price to be on the higher side, but considering the design and features, it might be worth it for some cat owners.

All of my cats - and I have a lot - absolutely love this Pomesea Coconut Tree Cat Scratching Post.When I was ordering it, you could choose one that had a brown base or a green one. I decided on the brown because it would blend in with my beige carpeting. When it arrived, I opened the box and took everything out. There was a folded pamphlet that had numbered pictures of each part, so you could make sure that everything had been included. Then the step-by step assembly guide told you in what order to attach all the pieces and included not only the name of the part but the number. This made it so easy to assemble and only took me several minutes. You ready didn’t need any tools, but the manufacturer had included a simple metal screwer so you could tighten up the central screw rod if you needed to.The oval base measures 15.7” in length, 12.6” in width and is 31.5” from the floor to the top of the post before you add the leaves.The instructions said that 5 3D-printed coconut tree leaves were included to attach to the top, but I received 6 of them. You can either leave them standing up or bend them over. I think it looks more like a coconut tree with them bent downward. After it is assembled, it is so sturdy because of the weighted base. I don’t have to be concerned about it ever tipping over even though all my cats are fully grown and fairly large.I really like that this is not only a scratching post, but an interactive play center. There are 3 wooden balls that can be rolled around the turntable, 2 hanging balls that you attach to the center and a spring ball with a bell, all of which can be batted around by the cat.Everything about this scratching post looks like it is durable and made to last. My cats love to scratch and the white and jute rope is very tightly wrapped around the post and then securely stapled. I am positive even with so many cats scratching at it constantly, it’s not going to start unraveling like some of the others that are around the house.In my opinion this scratching post and interactive play area is a great value for the money.

Design is a bit tacky, very plastic looking leaves, the dangling pompom were not included in the box. The post is in two different pieces- not a big deal, but there is a gap between them, and they are attached with exposed staples. The only thing I really liked about this product (and my cats) are the balls that float around and the pompom on the base. The height is a good size (about 3ish feet), assembly was easy, materials are cheap other than the wooden bits.

My daughter was able to assemble this pretty easily, which was nice. The cats really seem to love it, especially the wooden play balls. They started playing with it almost right away and have been using it everyday.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn’t feel as sturdy as I expected. Some parts feel like they could come loose, and I may end up adding a little house to help hold everything together better. For around $33, I think it’s still a decent buy since the cats enjoy it so much, but I do wish the overall build quality felt a little stronger.

I took off one star for the following:- green carpet on the base doesn't seem durable (very soft and thin)- the palm fronds are cool for humans but scared my cat (easily removed)Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Pieces (except green carpet) are durable, tolerances are tight, and the scratching post is very stable once assembled. Easy to assemble. Only 1 tool (Phillips #2 screwdriver) required for assemblyMy cat is long, every person who visits comments on how big he is. This tree is more than tall enough for him. I really like how it's tall, but doesn't take up a lot of floor and air space. The post is thin, which is great for the cat and for meThe material is natural rope (jute+sisal) and is safe for cats, and they love to scratch it. My cat started using it immediately. He loves the material, the height, and the fact that it's stable and doesn't wobble.So overall this is a great scratching post that I would buy again

I'm glad I got the opportunity to review this cat scratching post because my cat really enjoys it. This post is 34" tall, so it's plenty tall enough for most cats to use and enjoy. It is pretty easy to put together, and is aesthetically pleasing. I personally like the palm fronds, but they are not necessary for your cat's enjoyment. You simply place the fronds loosely in a hole in the top so you can arrange and bend them however you'd like. The only thing I didn't love about it is that my cat does tip it over often (and she's not very big) and the fronds often get bent. My cat loves the wooden balls at the base and I love the sound they make! The sisal balls that you tie around the middle are a little strange because the instructions don't really tell you what to do with them, but they stay up pretty good once you tie them tightly. I do really like the look of this post and would recommend it.

Zu erst: Ich konnte keinen Chemiegeruch warnehmen, auch nicht vom Nahem.Lässt sich gut zusammenbauen und sieht auch gut aus finde ich, Verarbeitung auch okay.Das Holz fühlt sich gut an und meine Katze hat direkt angefangen mit den Kugeln zu spielen.Würde sagen dass es eher für kleine Katzen gedacht ist.Ich finde für den Preis kriegt man hier ein solides Spielzeug bis die Katze rausgewachsen ist und dann kann man die Rolle ja auch umbauen wenn man handwerklich halbwegs unterwegs ist.

Der kostenlose Erhalt hat jedoch keinerlei Einfluss auf eine ehrliche und unvoreingenommene Bewertung.🧵 Material und Verarbeitung:Der Kratzbaum besteht aus Sisal, Holz und Plastik und wirkt insgesamt solide verarbeitet. Das Sisal ist für die Katzen angenehm zu nutzen und wird gut angenommen. Auch nach fast 4 Wochen mit regelmäßigen Kratzattacken ist noch alles stabil und fest.🔧 Zusammenbau:Der Aufbau war grundsätzlich einfach, allerdings gab es ein paar kleinere Probleme. Die Palmenblätter werden oben nur eingesteckt, ich konnte jedoch keine richtige Befestigungsvorrichtung finden, die laut Anleitung eigentlich dabei sein sollte, vermutlich eine Art Befestigungsbolzen.Ich habe das Problem pragmatisch gelöst, indem ich eine passende Schraube in das Loch gedreht habe. So hält jetzt alles fest. Dennoch sollte so etwas bei einem fertigen Produkt nicht vorkommen. Einen Stern muss ich daher abziehen.Die Bällchen an den Seilen soll man um den Sisalstamm wickeln und verknoten. Ich habe mich aber dazu entschlossen, da die Seile lang genug sind, diese zwischen die zwei Sisalstammhälften einzuwickeln und festzudrehen bzw. zu klemmen.🐾 Bespielung:Beim Spielen kommt der Kratzbaum sehr gut an. Meine Katzen nutzen ihn regelmäßig zum Kratzen und Spielen. Sowohl die Kügelchen als auch die hängenden Bällchen werden aktiv bespielt. Auch die Palmenblätter sind sehr beliebt und werden mit Begeisterung „zerstört“ 😺.🏋️ Stabilität:Der Kratzbaum steht insgesamt sehr stabil und verrutscht auch bei wilderem Bespielen nur leicht auf dem Boden. Umgekippt ist er bisher noch nicht. Damit erfüllt er seinen Zweck auf jeden Fall.✅ Fazit:Ein insgesamt guter Kratzbaum mit kleinen Schwächen im Aufbau bzw. bei der Befestigung einzelner Teile. Sieht erstmal wie ein Deko-Teil aus, wird aber schnell zum Lieblingsspot. Der Kratzbaum steht stabil und kippt nicht, selbst wenn ordentlich Action ist. Ich find gut, dass die Höhe reicht, um sich mal lang zu machen, ohne gleich riesig zu wirken. Das Jutematerial fühlt sich robust an und wird gern genutzt. Die drehbare Scheibe bringt Abwechslung rein und das hängende Spielzeug sorgt für extra Beschäftigung. Ein Vorteil ist, dass alles kompakt bleibt und nicht den halben Raum einnimmt. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass man beim Aufbau kurz überlegen muss. Optisch passt das Teil gut in die Wohnung. Insgesamt wirkt es durchdacht und nicht billig. Man merkt schnell, dass es nicht nur zum Kratzen da ist, sondern auch zum Beobachten, Springen und Abhängen, auch wenn man das Spielzeug ab und zu neu befestigen muss.

Wir leben in unserer Wohnung zusammen mit fünf Katzen. Entsprechend stehen bei uns schon einige Kratzbäume herum, aber wir sind trotzdem immer wieder auf der Suche nach neuen Modellen. In unserem kleinen Katzenrudel sind auch zwei sibirische Waldkatzen dabei. Wer diese Rasse kennt, weiß, dass Kratzbäume bei solchen Charakteren selten eine besonders lange „Stammzeit“ haben. Wenn diese Kater einmal auf Tour sind, dann sind sie wirklich auf Tour – und da kann kein Kratzbaum der Welt lange widerstehen.Genau aus diesem Grund haben wir uns entschieden, diesen Kratzbaum zu bestellen. Die Lieferung von Amazon kam wie gewohnt schnell, und der Kratzbaum war sicher und ordentlich verpackt.Der Aufbau ist wirklich unkompliziert. Man muss kein Raketenwissenschaftler sein, um ihn zusammenzuschrauben. Alles ist intuitiv aufgebaut, und innerhalb kurzer Zeit steht der Kratzbaum einsatzbereit in der Wohnung.Bei unseren Katzen merkt man sofort, ob ihnen etwas gefällt oder nicht. Wenn ein Kratzbaum unangenehm riecht, quietscht oder irgendwie komisch wirkt, wird er konsequent ignoriert. Bei diesem Modell war es genau das Gegenteil. Während ich ihn aufgebaut habe, saßen unsere Kater schon neugierig daneben. Kaum stand der Kratzbaum, waren sie auch schon drauf und kaum noch davon wegzubekommen.Das Lustige an der Sache ist, dass der Kratzbaum bei uns relativ häufig umkippt. Wenn ein sechs oder sieben Kilo schwerer Kater mit voller Geschwindigkeit darauf zuschießt und der Kratzbaum nicht im Boden verankert ist, dann liegt er eben auch mal flach. Uns stört das überhaupt nicht – die Katzen haben ihren Spaß daran und beschäftigen sich intensiv damit.Für unsere Katzen ist dieser Kratzbaum auf jeden Fall eine willkommene Beschäftigung, und genau darauf kommt es bei uns an. Aus unserer Sicht – und vor allem aus Sicht unserer Miezekatzen – gibt es deshalb ganz klar fünf Sterne.

This was ordered by me as I have a cat and kitten and it's nice to ensure a scratch post for each and in each area they may be in so my furniture is left unscratched.They do not do much in that way but the bedroom is a weak point they scratch the carpet and the divan bed sides a little so this is perhaps for there if they carry on using it.So they already have done so.They like the fronds too. But they are not firmly held in place so they get pulled out. The instructions were very poor both how to assemble its base and the fronds and the balls. Just written by someone who did not care much about the customer and who has not got the experience of how this thing is out together.Well I cannot tell you the correct way to put it together. I did not design it, so I can only tell you what I did, but it ended up not a turntable design, and the balls I decided to jam between the two posts rather than'tie them on' that the instructions said! I mean honestly these are the worst instruction for cat equipment I've ever seen.So due to the front being loose stuffed into the top and it not rotating and poor instruction I would have taken it to 2 stars maybe if I was feeling very hard done by a 1 but the cats instructed me to give it an average as they told me they like it so here we are it gets a 3After just 2 or 3 days the spring ball has been removed by the cats from it's bolt. So this is not great for a very new item.
