Easy assembly, very sturdy, price is great too
I'm not going to post them, but I have SO MANY great videos of this shopping cart helping our granddaughter learn to walk. It is much better than her other walking toys. It is stable and sturdy and we feel it is much safer - especially in the early walking stage when she was going faster than she could control. The cart kept her stable. Her other push type walking toys would go out from under her. Now that she is a confident walker, she still plays with the shopping cart, and has climbed in it and sat in it. She also loves the electronic sounds of the cart. Even when the top is off, she still plays with it, too.
I bought this for my granddaughter when she was about 8 months old. At that time (pre pre-walking) she enjoyed putting the pieces into/out of the bin located at the back and we put the cook top on the floor for her to play with. She's very petite and the cart is just the right size for her now @ 10 months as a walker. I was worried about it tipping with her, but she figured out very quickly how to keep it steady. She has an elephant ride-on toy that's also a walker and it rolls too fast for her right now. This walker has "brakes" on the shopping cart that we've engaged, so it doesn't roll too fast on the carpet. She's very unsteady with her walking, so the sturdiness of the cart and the fact that it doesn't fly away from her is impressive and appreciated. She really enjoys it. I feel that it was a good value.Update: At 2 yrs old my granddaughter continues to use this toy. It’s now used daily as a shopping cart for pretend play—groceries in the back and baby doll in the front seat. Would definitely purchase again.
I purchased this item for my niece’s first birthday. It has a wide base to prevent tip overs. It’s an interactive learning shopping cart. Very easy to assemble. Takes 3 AA batteries. Comes with 2 language options (English and French). The top can be removed for easy shopping and play time.Great purchase for the price.
This shopping cart is exactly what I was looking for in a walk behind toy for my 6 month old. My son is quite strong for his age and pulling himself up on everything. He received a VTech Sit-to-Stand Learning Walker for Christmas and absolutely loved it. We loved the concept of it but it tipped easily with his weight and he was constantly leaning over it to try to play with the toys on front while standing behind it.This cart is a bit on the light side and the first time my son used it he was cruising along happy as could be to be walking, lost his balance and went down while still holding the handle. The cart toppled on top of him and the play top popped off and bumped him in the face. He wasn't hurt at all because the parts are so light but he was definitely startled by it all. I have since added weight by drilling a few holes and zip-tying a couple small weights to the underside of the carriage. That way they don't take up any space in the cart and there are no sharp edges for little fingers to explore.I also added some hardware to the top to prevent it from popping off so easily. The metal tabs I added catch the lip inside the cart or can be twisted out of the way so the top can be removed. I would have rathered not to use metal but at the time it was the easiest solution. Perhaps when I have time (like that ever happens with a baby) I will swap out the metal tabs for wood ones.We absolutely love this toy but I did take off one star for the necessary modifications. Our son is tall and strong for his age so it's possible this toy would be great as is for your little one. It has a nice wide stable base, locking back wheels and the toys can be reached (not activated) from behind the cart. My son loves the popcorn popper and we like to push the button to turn it on for him when he's standing behind the cart.Lot of fun to grow into. Not sure if we would utilize the multiple languages but it's kinda nice that is has options for English, Spanish or French.
This has been perfect for my son since he started pulling up to stand through early walking. At first he wanted me to help him to stand all the time, so I bought this for him to have something to stand on his own. He loved it from the first! As soon as he was ready he started pushing it around the house with a giant smile on his face. It has probably been the most used toy in the house. For his sibling on the way, I can tell the activity center on top will be fun early on too for use on the floor. It was hard to buy this plastic toy over the pretty wooden ones, but it was the right choice. It is very stable and he could use it more independently any earlier than the wooden ones.
This is a great teaching toy my 7 month old grand daughter loves it. I like the way the top comes off for her to play with, she loves the popcorn and lights. She's just started to pull herself up on things, the wheels lock in place so it doesn't roll when she's trying to get up there. I think this cart is very sturdy she'll be walking with it soon.
This grocery cart has brakes! I love that this cart can help my granddaughter learn to walk but we can put brakes on it to keep it from moving so she can play with her “groceries”. Very, very happy with this purchase for our granddaughter’s first birthday!
Very entertaining for baby, multiple actions for music, hand coordination and walking. Sturdy toy.
