These arrived yesterday and we wasted no time setting them up. "Batteries Not Included" so have a bunch of AAA batteries on hand!Very easy to set up and install on the windows (suction cups provided). Two levels of brightness, and on the lower level you can get a "flickering" effect. Very nice. Only one color - I suspect as these things become more common we'll see other colors available.Remote works OK, but you have to be in close proximity to the candle. Timer function is good, but for some reason two of mine didn't shut off by themselves and I was out wandering the house at 4 AM turning off candles!Good value, but a little pricey. Hoping that, because they're LED, the batteries will last through the holiday season.

I searched for a while for candles that would be bright enough to see in my windows. My house is a decent distance from the street so I was worried they wouldn’t be bright enough. The kit came with the candles, batteries, suction cups for the windows and the holders (which I didn’t need) and remote. The candles were super easy to assemble, although I was remembering the comment about another reviewers fingers would never be the same, and I could see why. However, they are super sturdy and the candle is definitely not going to fall out of the suction cup ring. The remote was easy to figure out. They look perfect in my windows! You won’t be disappointed with these candles.

They only give you one remote and not all of our lights worked, but since there are 10 of them, I only needed 7 of them to work (I think 8 did). I can set them to go on, then they stay on for 6 hours (I think there’s an option and six hours was the max), then they’ll turn on again at the same time, which is nice.

I bought these in 2021, and the remote stopped working this year, so I decided to purchase a new set. The quality of the new ones is inferior to that of the originals. The plastic piece where you insert the batteries is flimsy, and I bent one of the bulbs trying to remove the battery piece. A few seconds after inserting the batteries (the brand new ones that are included with the product), a couple of the candles turned off. I checked the batteries to find them extremely hot. I replaced them with high-quality brand batteries to find the same result.

I ordered two of these window candles. One box had a set of Xin Energy batteries (see picture). These batteries are slightly too long to fit in the plastic housing. I had to forcibly squeeze them in to fit, causing the plastic housing to deform and the candle not to work. Also a concern that the batteries got very hot after just a few minutes of being in the housing.The second box had a different set of batteries and worked perfectly. If you get the black and silver Xin Energy batteries, be warned that they may not work and could overheat.

I didn't wait to see about the reliability of the timer function before I wrote this review because I was already SO thrilled with the other features of these candles that I wouldn't choose anything else! A couple of years ago I purchased a set of window candles that have no base but ONLY attach to the window with a suction cup AND the candle "hooks" or "sits" on a green plastic hook that attaches or slides into the suction cup that attaches to the window. NEVER buy these! The 2 biggest issues on these are that the green plastic hooks break easily and then the candle is worthless. The other issue is that when you need to change the battery you have to detach the suction cup from the window to do it and getting them to stick again is a challenge. Plus, what a hassle! Things I love about THESE candles: #1 The flame and battery part is an insert into the stem of the candle that can be pulled out to change the battery then dropped back in without ever detaching the suction from the window. #2 The bases are weighted. On some windows I use the bases and on some I have to use the suction but both base and suction are good to attach to the candle because they give the candle a good balance. Also, because of the way the suction attaches to the candle stem it makes it easier to put pressure on the suction cup to get it to stick. I have always wet the suction to help them stick. I had no problems with these. #3 Instead of dealing with a switch under the candle if the remote doesn't work, all you have to do is put one hand on the candle stem and push down on the top of the flame. They easily turn on and off this way! #4 The flame part is larger than the other ones which is also nice. #5 Now about the remote. I just went into each room and turned the candles off and on and it worked perfect 12+ feet away on every one. (The next step will be to figure out the timer function but I will have to do that tomorrow as it is late now) #6 I didn't like the gold base but I was able to spray paint them an espresso color which was super easy since the bases come unattached. If you purchase them in that color they are so much more expensive!

I love these. I like that they have a remote so when it’s time to turn them in you can go around and turn them in with a remote. I think these would be nice to use thru the year.

Title says it all. I set the timer for 8 hours. Lights went off after 8 hours except a couple maybe. The next day they sporadically came on with maybe an hour delay. After that each day the timer function got worse as they just wouldn’t come in anymore. So I had to RESET the timer each day. I purchased 3 sets and used all 30 candles in my windows. I had my 4 year old turn them on every night because she was actually excited to do it. I think the wiring simply uses a lot of energy and that’s why the timer gives out so quickly AND the light got dimmer after only 1.5 weeks of use. Would NOT recommend.
