I purchased 2 for both of my bathrooms, this is also the second time I have purchased. Seat stays put and doesn't move, or slide when you sit. Sturdy, easy to put on. Easy to clean, no hidden books and crannies.

I don't know why almost all the toilet seat manufacturers switched to plastic screws for the toilet seats but the are the worst! Of course with the pandemic, everyone raised prices. And both Lowe's and Home Depot charge a lot even for the plastic.So after extensive search, I found this toilet seat with metal posts and screws. The posts are well seated.The seat is hard and solid. I don't feel like it will break when I sit on it. I installed 2 plastic seats before this one. Despite making them as tight as possible, the seats came off the toilet. I tried adding rubber washers with no change.These seats are easy to install. They have a nice finish which is easy to clean.I would happily spend the extra money for more of these seats! They make noise when you put them down.The didn't adjust. I had to add this last statements or Amazon would post my review.

Very nice seat and not plastic like thought it’s a heavy duty material going to get another for my other bathroom once I am sure it holds up to my two toddlers

Fits perfect on my toilet from the 1980’s. Unfortunately they don’t have a cream color lid like this to match my toilet, but hey it was the 1980s when they picked the toilet color 🤷‍♀️ Toilet lid goes up and down smoothly, has metal hardware instead of that plastic crap everyone else is using, and this seat fits much tighter on our toilet than the ones with plastic hinges. Looking forward to this lasting longer than a few months like my last toilet seat. Stays in place and doesn’t move while you’re sitting on it is great!

I recently needed to buy a new toilet seat and I prefer those with the metal hinges, so I usually go to Home Depot and get one made by Bemis. I was shocked to discover that some low IQ individual working for Bemis decided to radically change the design on how to install the hinges to the ceramic toilet. Abandoning a design, might I add, which has worked PERFECTLY for many decades. Instead of a single, headless screw bolt that you add washers to and which then screws into the fixed hinge caps, and then you position the seat and side those bolts thru the holes and then screw on the retaining washers from underneath - this new design has screw bolts with HEADS on them that have to inserted under a clip in fixed hinge caps. This design was HORRIBLE and inefficient - so I returned the seat to Home Depot. It cost me $48 dollars and some change. Got on amazon and found this seat with the traditional hinges, costing me a little over $26. Had it installed and operational within15 mins. Plus I save a ton of money!08-07-24 Update. The toilet seat suddenly 'cracked' while I was sitting on it. Left side of the seat, a horizontal split through and through. I don't know if this particular seat was defective or if this entire brand has the same problem. I did not keep the original box, so I am out the $26 I paid for it.

I have gad this seat for awhile now . Installed easily. I am over weight and after reading few reviews I got nervous about my purchase. For me it’s so far very durable has not wiggled or came lose or cracked. My only con is it stains easily.

After replacing a clorox toilet seat and total waste of money this seat is a soft close, easy to clean, stays in place, was very easy to install a women can do it alone. Traded all toilet seats to this one
