I start reviews at 3 stars then add or subtract for any proscons.First, I searched and purchased this projector so it's NOT a Vine product or freebie review. I just take my reviews seriously and like to be thorough.Initial Impression (+1 star)The projector was packaged very securely. When I pulled it out, its' weight and quality felt very durable and well made. I had a previous one similar to this style that was cheaply made and the pivot point failed after 3 months of use. This one by Tecaki is MUCH better and feels like it will last a long time.Features(+1 star) Setup was very easy and the menu options are simple and clear. I didn't need instructions to get it to cast from my S24 Ultra but casting does require a newer model phone. You can also use an HDMI dongle to your phone, or direct HDMI from a computer. This takes over the device and I wanted this to run by itself. The fine print on one of the images says TV stick sold separately.(-1 star) The menus seem a bit 'cheap' and 'toy-ish'. After using it, I found it's simple and functional. It could definitely use a redesign, but it works.(+1 star) The video quality is awesome and it projects well and the colors are vibrant in a dim or dark room. It will "work" in a bright room, but the picture is definitely washed out the brighter the room is. I wasn't expecting to use it in a bright area so this wasn't a problem or an expectation for me.(+1 star) The picture size is impressive. I have an empty wall in one of the rooms and I can project the picture from the projector to nearly fill the entire wall.I didn't want to lock up a phone or a PC and I planned to use a FireStick. I pulled a FireStick 4k MAX from a TV I wasn't using and plugged it in. The FireTV logo appeared briefly then disappeared with a message that it could not be recognized. After unsuccessfully trying to mess with the settings, I reached out to Support.Support (+1 star)In short, Tecaki support is AMAZING.Shelley was extremely polite, thorough in the responses, and responded quickly (timezone difference considered). We didn't have to go back and forth 5 times for something to be done. The first response provided me with troubleshooting steps and what the next steps would be if these didn't work. The second email was exactly what I needed to know. Even though the 4K Max FireStick doesn't work due to resolution incompatibility, Shelley said the FireStick HD version does.I swapped the 4K FireStick for a HD FireStick and it worked. No connectivity issues whatsoever. After setting up the FireStick, it streamed YouTube and all of my apps flawlessly.(-1 star) Even with the HDMI extension cable, you cannot put the projector straight up without it squeezing the cable. I don't plan to use it on the ceiling but it would have been a cool option for my kid's sleep-overs or when laying in bed.(-1 star) The volume control on the FireStick remote will not control the volume of the projector like it does on my TV even after going through all 6 compatibility attempts the FireStick tries. Not a huge deal because there is a volume control on the projector's remote, but it is a annoying to have to use and keep track of 2 remotes.Pictures:1. In Box2. Out of box3. This product is incredible—perfect for family camping trips to watch movies outdoors, or for watching together at home. It’s a fantastic option that is easy to connect to a laptop or phone—you simply choose the method that works best for you. It is portable, very user-friendly, and an excellent choice overall.

This mini projector is a good value and was relatively easy to hook up to my iPhone. It took a few minutes, but once I was able to connect, it was easy to project. I am happy with the picture and the sound quality. If you are looking for a true HD or merry Christmas picture, you’ll definitely need to spend more money, but for me this works great.I’m happy that my son can project from his phone so that he is not staring at a tiny little screen.The unique shape makes it convenient to transport.Again, if you are looking for a sharp HD picture and very crisp sound, then this is not the projector for you and you should probably purchase one that is much more expensive. If you’re looking for a projector with a nice picture and is easy to use, then this is the projector for you.

I hope you guys are ready for this:1. It’s very sleek and modern looking, it looks and feels like $500 projector2. Although it looks and feels expensive, well.. it is not! I compared this projector with 4 others and this is the BEST for your Budget with superb quality that is better than others.3. User friendly, I believe my 4 year old self can set up this projector in less than 30 minutes4. It comes with eve try thing you will need (remote control, cable, manual, and a sweet Hello note from the company.. c’mmon, it’s super personalized!).5. Delivered so fast, I had a hard time catching up with Amazon delivery lol6. The audio and resolution clear, sharp, vivid and yes.. it smells good hahah I love the smell of brand new gadgets lol7. Aside from its superb quality, I go more for its Warranty. And it comes in a very nice clean packaging too. I’m keeping its for life ;p8. The company has a cool marketing and sale team, if you have any concerns, questions, suggestions.. or whatever your life problem is.. just email them and they’ll reply back! Amazing projector. It's portable and has built in app like Netflix. My daughter wanted one and this brand had great reviews. Now that I have it, I can say that it's must cheaper than buying a huge TV for your teenager. If your kids are on Netflix and your husband wants to keep his TV for his sports, this is the solution.There was some app update which affected the projector and when I contacted the company, they were pretty quick to respond and send the fix issue. Very happy with the purchase.

Such a great projector for the price! Worked great while camping and connected to the hotspot we had. I was able to play Netflix. I haven’t tried any other apps so I’ll keep you posted on that. The image was great and it connected to a speaker and was very loud. 10/10

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I’m really happy with this projector. The picture quality is crisp even in a room with some light, and it gets even better when the lights are dimmed. Setup only took a few minutes, and the menu is easy to navigate. The speakers are decent, but it also connects easily to an external one when I want a fuller sound. I’ve used it for movies, games, and even as a second screen for work, and it’s handled everything well. For the price, it was a great purchase and I’d buy it again.

Easy plug and play, BUT, it's limited to what will mirror. Full screen will not mirror, so you need to manually zoom to get a full screen on the wall. Certain apps like Apple TV, YouTube, Netflix, etc, have DRM blocking, so you won't be able to stream using mirror, and will need an HDMI on your device (phone or computer) to plug into the projector. Comes with an HDMI cable, but I have a MacBook, and it requires an attachment to use it, which doesn't work. Also, will not allow you to Bluetooth a speaker when mirroring, so if you want better sound, you'll need a speaker with an auxiliary headphone jack port, and a cable because the projector doesn't come with one.Image looks clear in a dark room within a certain distance to the wall, but will need adjustments if you are looking for a larger view.Overall, it's a nice inexpensive projector that may be better for photo slide shows, as it's been frustrating to figure work arounds to try and stream what video or shows I want through the projector.
