Perfect fit, easy installation, and great ride (so far). 07 RAV4 6 cylinder sport

I purchased the left and right struts for my 2008 Toyota Rav4. Following along a couple of YouTube videos and a few basic hand tools I was able to install them without much issue.

This was one of two OEM struts ordered for my car. They are considered to be quality struts and thus far the car sits and rides like it should, but time will tell on my overall satisfaction. This particular package was SEVERELY BEAT UP in the process of getting it from the original supplier to myself. The box and labels were all freshly scraped, torn and the box looked like it was dragged. It looked like someone had probably opened the box to inspect the product for damage then put it back in the box and quickly taped it up to complete the journey. Upon inspection of the strut alongside the other one, it appeared to be ok, not bent or damaged. The other strut was delivered a few days earlier in fine shape, no problems. I just think it's a shame how some people in the supply chain will beat up shipments like this. I cannot determine which handler is responsible as there were probably three in total. Yes, I got free shipping, but that helped to offset the somewhat high price and bring it back down to something more competitive.

Installed on 2010 Rav4. I noticed a rubbing noise when turning the wheel left. A few days later found that the spring sticks out further than the stock spring and rubs on metal wheel well. I no longer have the box. DO NOT BUY THESE FOR A RAV4. Disappointed in Monroe.UPDATE: after a year the strut creaks and makes noise. DO NOT BUY! Lots of online complaints on forums. Going to replace with KYB.

Everything was as advertised all the holes lined up just like original equipment, made changing out a breeze.

Received in time and installed without any issues on my 2007 RAV4 V6 3.5L. Since these are just installed, too early to comment on the performance but we noticed the noise we had before is gone after installing these new struts.

Bought this part for my vehicle almost 2 years ago. The shock absorber component has failed and is leaking. Not the worst problem, as the manufacturer has a lifetime warranty on the product (part only, not labour). The process of having Amazon honor the lifetime warranty was not made very easy though. Amazon's warranty policy states very clearly under refunds for automotive parts to contact Amazon and they will honor the manufacturers published warranty. When I did this, Amazon said they couldn't help me and that the manufacturers warranty wasn't in there system. Then I called the manufacturer and they said it needed to go through Amazon. Needless to say, I went back and forth between the manufacturer and the Amazon customer service several times (3-4 hours on the phone with multiple amazon customer care agents actually hanging up on me). Finally Monroe, the manufacturer, sent me a form that went directly to Amazon stating the warranty and that they were to fulfill it. As soon as I filled out the form and submitted with my info, I had an email from Amazon saying that my new parts were being shipped. All this to say, if you have a warranty issue with this product, contact the manufacturer and ask for the Amazon form that they have and Amazon will honor the warranty. Amazon customer care was brutally unhelpful in all of this - very frustrating process, but I guess in the end I'm getting my replacement part, so alls well that ends well... just a bunch of wasted time and energy.1 star for amazon customer service and the warranty process. 5 stars for Monroes lifetime warranty finally achieved. Hopefully this saves you some headache if you end up buying this and need to walk through the warranty process at some point.
