My mother has wanted one of these for a long time. I purchased this item for my mom. When she opened it she was so excited. Set up seemed simple but it wasn’t. The power was so very difficult to connect to the machine. There was a hard piece of plastic blocking the plug from sliding in. Then once I finally jimmy rigged it in there it came on and everything seemed to work fine for all of ten seconds. The machine started making strange noises. Then the screws popped out from underneath. My mom is about 200lb 5’11. This profit is a piece of junk. Very cheaply made. Not what the money. Cheap cheap cheap!!!!! And it’s way smaller than what it seems in the picture.

I got this because the price seemed reasonable compared to other similarly rated plates. I have been using it for about 5 days now and I have noticed an improvement in how sore I been after running. Also, my lower back completely released after the first time I used it! The difference was incredible, honestly. I intend to continue using it and will update if I notice any other changes or important information.Pros: Easy to use; comes with remote control and bands that hook to it; comfortable to stand on without shoes; pretty quiet - I stand on it while watching TV and have no trouble hearing; has pre-programed 10-minute sets that auto adjust, or can just change manually; the part you stand on seems well made and thickCons: cord length could be longer - it's just enough to plug into my hip-high outlet in my kitchen and set the plate about 3 feet away facing backwards. This isn't a huge issue but depending on where you want to use it, it's definitely something to consider; There's space between the vibration plate and the base, like 3/4 of an inch, where I imagine cat hair, dust, and toddler crumbs can migrate into the base; the base part seems a little thin and flimsy, I'm afraid that part might break/crack.

It kind of does what it’s supposed to, it vibrates obnoxiously loud compared to other shake plates and one side vibrates significantly more than the other, the plug doesn’t want to stay in properly within the 10 minute cycle and it seems to be oddly narrow comparing to other plates. Pretty disappointed with the quality to price point comparison, $40-50 shake plate we have is far superior and this was suppose to be the upgrade, and the points where the bands clip to don’t feel very stable or look like they’ll last very long before bending/breaking. I tried to look into it a little and see if we received a defective one, but nothing seems “wrong” or broken with it

The plate works great and it is very user friendly. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the picture and description was a little misleading- it’s not as big as it looked. It’s hard to sit in if you’re using it for certain exercises.
