Love these more than the more expensive version from the big box store. I love that you can adjust the temperature setting of the lights, that's a great feature. Swapping these out with my old recessed lights was a breeze. The main reason I picked these was because of the timing for changing it to night-light mode. These give you 5 seconds while the name-brand home depot version only gives you 1-1/2 seconds. That was important to me because I wanted to automate the night light mode and I couldn't make the light turn on-off-on with my home automation system quick enough for the name brand version. With these, I was able to automate the lights to automatically put them in night time mode in the evening. Very nice quality and have recommend them to other people who have been in my house. Great value for the money and I'd buy these again if I needed more.

I just replaced 11 cans from square LED 5000K lights to these and I must say, they are great. The install is very easy (replacement LED recessed lights are easy to install) - took me about 30 mins to replace all. The ability to select color is not important to me.. I just use it at 5K, but its good to have for the price. The functionality is idiot proof.. just takes a bit to get used to the concept. Essentially - everytime you turn on after a while it lights up in bright center light. To turn on the night light, you just toggle on-off-on within 5 seconds. just a FYI, the night light is only in 2700K color temp. It looks really really cool.. the night light is not too bright, it is basically a yellow glow. The center lights are surprisingly very bright.When I picked this, there were no reviews (thats why I am writing it) but what I liked about these lights, is the night light is within the baffle, instead of on the top of the baffle which makes it protrude out from ceiling. This looks clean.Having said that, I did have one of the 12 lights that did not work - the night light would not light up. I'm ok with that.. 1/12 is not bad. But I will reach out to customer service and see if they can fix the issue and update here.

Lights are nice and easy to install at a fair price. I do recommend that you order a couple extra above what you plan to replace in your home. I have had them installed for a couple of years and have had to replace a couple that started to operate erratically after being on a few minutes.

Update 1/26/2023 - i reached out to the company via email and they reached out almost simultaneously so very responsive. They wanted to compensate me for more than just the light but I didn’t feel right receiving more than I was out. They promptly sent me a replacement light and told me to reach out at anytime if I have other issues, as they want to make it right. One thing that impressed me was they actually cared enough about quality control that they requested I send back the defective light, which they would pay shipping on. This proves to me that they care about getting to the bottom of issues. I would have no issue buying from this company again.We purchased our first box of these lights a month or two ago and loved them. The nightlight feature is cool, although we rarely use them for that. To finish replacing the old can lights I purchased two additional boxes just last week and installed 11 of 24 that arrived in our order. Less than 24 hours later, while my son was sitting in the living room, he heard a loud pop and one of the lights went out. I replaced this defective one with a new light, and all is fine. Honestly, they are great. Extremely bright. and the nightlight feature is great.
