Best pair of clippers that I've purchased.

My favorite things about this clipper are the versatility and durability. Swap between wet and dry, shower-2-sink, with zero worries. It operates with the same power.The large blade is another ❤️. I am done in 8 minutes, from hair and stubble to nada.

This hair clipper I bought was from China, it was cheaply made and is poor in quality.

I've had a beard ever since I exited the Navy while serving on a Destroyer, USS Bigelow, years ago so I've gone through a large number of clippers up into the Winter of my Youth, and yes I can recognize quality when I place a set of clippers into my hands. I was impressed with the way it handled while using it to trim with and it had just the right number of guards to easily trim my beard and mustache. But I also use my current clippers to cut my hair and I have acquired a very large collection of guards ranging from 3mm up to 38mm so while using a large variety of guards its' given me the ability to actually do a great job in cutting my beard and my hair. The problem that I found with this particular trimmer is that the its' odd circular shape at the heel of the cutting head does not allow for any of my current guards to fit this particular trimmer, my collection started with a corded Wahls Trimmer set then a Rechargeable Wahls and I followed up with a number of great non-brand name rechargeable brands that I have acquired during my many years of shopping on Amazon. All of these past models had maintained a square cutting head style that would allow me to continually use my snap-on guards, this MRY trimmer due to the head shape, have guards that slide on without the versatility that I've mentioned with my past trimmers.Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't appreciate the MRY Clippers, I like the sleek modern cordless style, the black base with the chrome trim at the top leading up to the stainless steel clippers and actually they look better than any of my older models. Also you can't beat the charging rate of plugging it into its' charging base for 2 hours and getting 3 hours of usage from it which is better than many of my past trimmers. I should also mention another feature of this trimmer so if you've lost battery power and are in a rush to trim your hair you can still use a USB Type C cord with an A/C power adapter and use this trimmer (so it has the duel functionality of being cordless or corded). It also possesses an IPX6 rating which means that it's extremely waterproof, impenetrable by weather, waterfalls, and even a non-sustained total soaking but let's be honest how many people are going to wash off their trimmers under a water faucet, personally I use a large, flexible brush to whisk my loose hairs from the trimmer head and then add a very slight amount of 3-in-1 oil to the blades, just like I've seen my barbers and hair stylist do over many years. In fact I would have a melt down if I saw someone in my family wash off any of my trimmers, including this one.So if someone was wanting this to actually cut their hair or a loved one's hair I would say you may want to look for a set that you can easily add extra guards to enable a complete hair cut unless you just wanted to specialize in a military high and tight or a flat-top and then, yes, this set would work great for you. I still intend to use this for my beard and mustache but I will hold on to my current trimmer model so that I can still use it with my large number of guards to cut my hair. I decided against deducting one star for the lack of its' versatility when it comes to using other guards but at least I've brought up the only draw-back that I have with this MRY set of clippers and this issue may not even be an issue with other purchasers on Amazon...

We’ve been cutting hair at home and at the barber/salons since many years before the pandemic. I have only used Wahl regular and Peanut shavers, and only with cords. So I was very interested in seeing how well this cordless hair clipper worked.This is a great product. It comes charged up, I didn’t have to charge it before using it the first time. After both a haircut and beard trim on the high setting, it still had 97% power, which you can see on the display so you never have to worry about running out while doing a trim. Given that battery capacity, this will clearly last for a day of professional use, too.Both the Wahl trimmer and Peanut shavers have interchangeable length attachment combs that go by size (1-8 in my set). I’ve gotten used to knowing the length of hair cut by a size 5 or a size 2, and it’s the same at the barber/salon. This trimmer’s attachments go by millimeters, and there is actually a display showing the millimeter fraction for the intermediate settings. It took a little experimentation to figure out which millimeter setting corresponded to the Wahl settings of my corded set and they aren’t exactly the same. This is not a negative, it’s just something to be aware of.It is super simple but not necessarily obvious how to change the attachment combs on this hair clipper. Grasp the trimmer and put your thumb on the back end on the comb where the size is “printed” and push up with your thumb in the direction of the shaver head. The attachment will come off easily.The cut is clean and easy with these. It’s so freeing not to have to deal with the cord.Like the Wahl, this shaver has screws that allow you to pull off the blades using a regular Philips screwdriver and clean/disinfect them, then easily reassemble. (Do NOT do any of the dumb stuff that people recommend on the internet—these clippers all easily allow you to remove the blade to disinfect, per manufacturer’s instructions.)The only drawback is that this set does not come with any kind of a bag or box to hold the clippers and accessories between use. I had to repurpose an old shaver bag for it.This cordless shaver is good quality and so easy to use, one member of the household has begun using it to cut their own hair.

Good product, used for a few months, good battery life, good cut and variety of accessories to use and economical.
