I'm not sure what I expected when my stylist told me to start using Purple Shampoo & Conditioner as we work on fading my my original hair into my new white-silver hair - but I sure didn't expect that particular color of purple. The first time I used it, my shower walls looked like a blueberry explosion had happened. Sort of reminded me of the color of Violet after she ate the gobstopper from the Chocolate Factory. Luckily the purple spots that got on the towel washed right out and my hands also looked fine after a good cleansing - I really was worried that it would stain my hands.Also, since I didn't read reviews beforehand, I'm really glad that my product didn't explode during shipment - the bottles actually had strong tape across the top.I'm not sure yet how well it is working since I've only been using it for about a week now. While it MIGHT be conditioning my hair, it definitely doesn't have a detangler in it, so I have to spray a detangler into the hair before I start trying to comb it. Additionally, the smell is a bit awful IMO, but not so bad to cause me to stop using the product. Time will tell on that.

I used it once with the shampoo from the same brand. My hair was very shiny but a little dry even after using the conditioner. I don't usually use much conditioner because my hair is very fine, but the second time I used a larger amount and also applied a moisturising mask in between. I'm using it every 10 to 12 days; it's not a daily shampoo, it's worth remembering.But the product is excellent. I loved it.

Not at all what I thought it was going to be. Thought I was getting same shampoo and conditioner by Salon uses called Shimmering Light I think but this is not the same thing. Smell is not good and conditioner is not very hydrating.
