I've probably been through a handful of bedside chargers over the years.. From the stock cables plugged into the wall, that fall down behind the nightstand after you unplug, to using docks that hold the phone while plugged in, etc..Yes, they worked, but it was not an elegant solution. I wanted something better, so I started looking at options.My goal was a weighty, yet compact charger that wouldn't move across the table with each charge, and one that had both phone and watch charging together, so I could get rid of my chaotic mess of wires on my nightstand. Unfortunately, of the dozens out there, this was the only one that was perfect for me!Why unfortunately? Well, I wish this was cheaper, since of all of the mag chargers out there, this was one of the highest priced... but...it had all of the features and functionality I was looking for, not to mention the look I was going for too. So I bit the bullet and got it. Then, my wife saw it and loved it and wanted one too, so now we have two amazingly perfect expensive chargers.This Belkin charger combines a solid magnetic stand for my iPhone, an adjustable tilt, and my much-needed hidden watch charger, allowing the minimal footprint I was looking for. I'm impressed with the build quality, as well. The fit and finish couldn't be better!

Works very well. Phone holds no problem. Looks sleek and clean. I tried a cheap knock off of this first, it stopped working in 2 weeks. This one is clearly better made and the weighted base keeps everything in place, no tipping or sliding around the table. Wish it had another port or two for additional cords but works great for its purpose.

It’s a great product but did not work for me. The watch charge position is behind the cellular phone so, it’s blocked from your vision and easy access. That may not be important for everyone, but it’s something to consider.

I keep this charger on my nightstand and it’s nice when I’m tired to be able to lean over and attach my iPhone via MagSafe with one hand and not have the charger slide around.Second, the LOOKS. When the MagSafe connector is folded flat, it looks like it belongs in a Zen garden. The simplicity just fits the whole Apple aesthetic to a T. The small compact size means it will keep wherever it’s placed clutter free as wellThird, the FEEL. This thing just feels good. It’s hard to describe but the texture feels like silky silicone.This charger may be a little pricey but if you care about form, function and minimalist aesthetic, this is the only choice.

Why did I pick this product vs others?I chose this charger because I’ve played the “cheap charger roulette” game before, and it always ends the same way: my phone gets hotter than a cast-iron skillet and the charger dies an early, mysterious death. Belkin, on the other hand, has Apple’s official blessing (cue angelic choir), which explains both the higher price and the fact that it doesn’t try to melt my nightstand.My wife has been using the Belkin 3-in-1 charger for years with zero drama, so I figured I’d stick with the brand that works. I grabbed the 2-in-1 since I only have an iPhone and Apple Watch—no earbuds yet (although yes, you can charge earbuds if you balance them just right on the phone magnet like you’re defusing a bomb).I was especially excited because Belkin upgraded the power setup from a built-in wall plug to a USB-C cable and a USB-C dongle wall adapter. For travelers, this is great: most hotels have USB ports, so you can plug in without hogging an outlet or sacrificing one of your charger parts to the Travel Gremlins.Then came the plot twist.I plugged the charger into the USB-C port built into my wall outlet. Nothing. Dead. No lights when putting my phone on the mag safe magnet. I unplugged the USB-C cable from the wall outlet’s USB-C port and tried a genuine Apple USB-C dongle and plugging it in to the standard power outlet. Still nothing. Naturally, I assumed the charger was broken so I set up a return.Then my wife—clearly the smarter one in this story—said, “Did you try the adapter that came with it?”…. I hadn’t yet… I told here that there is no way it would make a difference. I have tried directly plugging it in to the wall outlet that has a USB-C plug port and even tried a quality USB-C dongle in the regular power port of a different outlet. How would this dongle be any different???She insisted I try it, so I did. Instantly worked. Perfectly. Flawlessly. Like it was mocking me.Needless to say, return canceled. Charger kept. Ego damaged.The downside? Now that specific adapter must remain permanently attached to this charger like it’s in a committed relationship. If it gets lost or broken during travel, I can’t just grab one of the dozen USB-C adapters I already own—I’ll need to buy a replacement from Belkin. That’s… not ideal, and not exactly consumer-friendly.Bottom line:This is a solid, well-built charger with a nice weight to it that screams “premium” and charges quickly without overheating. I just wish the USB-C cable worked with any powered USB-C port or adapter instead of being weirdly picky.Overall great product, excellent performance, minor frustration. I would give it a 5 star rating if you could use any USB-C dongle
