I purchased this rooftop cargo bag over a year ago and have used it for multiple family road trips, and it exceeded my expectations. Went on a trip and had to bring a lot more luggage than intended. Was super unsure about this thing and bought it on a whim. It fit a double jogging stroller, two scooters, two folding chairs, 3 suitcases, and some other miscellaneous stuff, and there was still some room to spare. Set it up super quick and we were on our way. Was a 5 hour drive, averaging speeds of 65, occasionally 75, and it was solid. Have a sun roof on the suv so we were able to watch it from inside the car. Didn't budge. Hit a massive downpour on the way and everything was dry after inspection.Don't normally leave reviews, but figured this deserves it.

Well I decided it would be a great idea to drive my work car to Florida for our 2 week family vacation. A 2024 Sonata is cheap on gas and has decent room but not when you cram 5 people inside and luggage. After a week at Disney we had more junk than we had room for. I purchased this bag & had it sent to the resort. It took minutes to install on a car with no rails. It held nearly as much as the trunk! I had room for more but wasn't sure how much weight you could safely put up there. I used a water bottle to clean the top of the car before installing so it wouldn't scratch the paint. It weathered several storms and Atlanta rush hour traffic. The zipper and velcro closures are well made. I did notice a drop in gas mileage but I'm satisfied in saying that poor car was at weight capacity. About a 5 to 7 mpg drop.No noise or anything negative. Only regret was not getting one sooner. It even came with a lock and storage bag.Great purchase and would definitely recommend!

Worked great for my recent road trip. The bag is made well of durable material. It didn’t leak and it holds a lot of luggage or packages.

Update: Loaded this 2 months early because I wanted it to be flexible. Then I headed 2500 hundred miles from east to West, over the Continental divide, torrential downpours, 45 mph headwinds, 60 mph crosswinds, and this carrier didn't move, didn't leak, didn't waiver once. I drove 75-80 mph more than half the distance. My car is a V6 3.8L that still got 22mpg for the trip. Definitely recommend.I wasn't sure about whether I could use this roof top car carrier because my car has a sunroof, no roof racks and side curtain airbags. Getting the rubber weatherstripping pulled down to not interrupt the curtains to secure the straps into the roof door jams was a little bit difficult but not impossible. With the right screwdriver, the rubber pulled down easily. The mat placement to help the carrier stay in place was easy to position directly behind the splash shield for my sunroof. I won't be travelling cross country until the middle of winter, but knowing that the carrier would not be very pliable in cold weather, I loaded it now on a very warm day. It was easy to place on top (even for a woman), and pretty easy to load. I made sure that it was fully loaded without gaps, and stuffed rolled up blankets around the sides, on top and anywhere gaps were noticed. Securing the straps tightly enough was the biggest challenge. Everything is loaded (it holds a lot) and I will be driving around with it for the next month. Hopefully nothing will shift. It is very well made. I would recommend for sure. Update may be coming!!

I used it for a year. Fit A LOT of stuff. The clothes i left loose in the storage bag stayed dry and clean. Smelled like i just washed them that week when i pulled everything out even though it had been about a year of being in the bag. All of my stuff was safe and the bag wasnt hard to go in and out of while it was up i just didn’t really want to do it often because of laziness lol … i got a new vehicle that it doesnt work with (cargo van with only one back side door) so its in the basement for now until i figured out how else i can use it.

Works very well. And holds more than I thought. Held up to rains on way from Florida to PA. I only used once so not sure how long it will last.

You need a roof rack to install. Damages window trim and interferes with door closure.
