It feels high-end, lightweight, and very well made. From the first use, I could tell it was a major upgrade from my previous dryer.It dries my hair incredibly fast without leaving it frizzy or overheated. I have medium-thick, and very long hair, and now can be fully styled in just minutes. The airflow is powerful but controlled, and the heat settings are easy to adjust. The cool shot actually works like it’s supposed to, which isn’t always the case with other dryers.Another big plus is how quiet it is. Even with the strong performance, it doesn’t have that loud, harsh sound most hair dryers do. The attachments are excellent quality as well — they snap on securely and make styling smooth and easy.I’ve used a much more expensive brand in the past that everyone raves about, and honestly, this Shark dryer is better in both quality and price point. It performs in my opinion better, for a fraction of the cost.If you’re debating between this and a higher-priced brand, save your money and get this one. It’s powerful, efficient, and leaves my hair looking smoother and shinier every time. I would absolutely buy it again and highly recommend it.

I love this hair dryer it really does dry your hair fast,Sometime too fast where I have to do my bangs before anything else, it’s not a problem, my bangs just dry fast and need them a certain way.The tools that come with have used except the concentrator which works great and you can change temp from cold 3x to warm 3x by pressing the bottom so you can make your own temp basically. It’s not just standard turn it on and that it, the glosser finishing thing I don’t know how that works just yet and the brush attmt, I used once guess since I wasted $80 on a chi hair dryer brush I just went bake to round brushes. My hair’s soft this is light enough,For the features and the amount of money iWould say it better be worth it in the long run, but I can tellIt doesn’t dry my hair out. Most ion hair dryers don’t,But this is actually a good price being I seen it on the shark website for $100 more,

This is such a great hair dryer. It takes no time at all to dry my hair. Once I have it dry, it feels soft and silky, not dry and brittle. I love the attachments for when I need them. The 3 different speeds makes for quick drying and then styling as my hair is pretty straight and I can put the brush attachment on with low heat and add a lot of volume to my hair. It is so worth the price! I have had mine for about a year and I just gave one to my daughter as a Christmas gift. You can buy a Dyson (and I love Dyson products) but this is a great and less expensive alternative and ever bit as good!

Background:As insight into my review, this Shark SpeedStyle is my first foray into such a high end blow dryer. I was very skeptical about spending $180 on a hair dryer because it seemed excessive. In the past, I've always used $30-$40 dryers that I replaced every couple of years. My husband only convinced me to "spend the money to buy a real hair dryer" because the most recent $40 hair dryer I purchased literally started arcing in the electrical outlet the first time I used it then left it plugged in and he was afraid the "cheap pieces of junk" I kept buying were going to burn our house down.Because I'd never purchased a high end dryer before, I chose this device after doing an internet search for the "best hair dryers for fine hair" and finding that this was the only hair dryer listed in four separate articles reviewing the "best of 2024". It also had 4.5 or higher reviews on each of the pages that I read. After a week of use, I still think it could be a bit less expensive (which is why I took off one star), but I do believe it was a good purchase.It is smaller than I expected based on the pictures. I appreciated that both because I am smaller statured with small hands and because I travel quite a bit. It is very light weight but has some serious power! As in - it has so much power that I only use it on the low and medium setting because the high is far too much for my fine hair and would be the equivalent of standing in a wind tunnel. It has three air settings and three heat settings. With dripping wet hair, I start on medium air/high heat and my fine hair is fully dry in less than 4 minutes.It was a nice addition that they give you every opportunity to learn how to use the tools and accessories well. Every implement and the instruction booklet all have QR codes that take you to video tutorials. This might not matter to some, but I'm far from a girly girl so I thought having the option was a nice additional touch.I use the concentrator 85% of the time and have been experimenting with the other two attachments. The concentrator definitely does as expected. It provides far more directed air flow than my previous cheapy hair dryer. I like that I can also turn the concentrator so that it aligns with any brush I might be using, rather than having to try to hold the hair dryer at a strange angle like I did with my previous dryer.The finisher is an interesting concept. I'm undecided what I think of it. I do think it may have provided some overall smoothing to my hair, but it it's the edges around my face that tend to get fuzzy and those edges were difficult for me to get a good smooth on. I'm sure it will get easier with practice. It also seems to take some of the volume out of my hair. If you have thick hair, this may not be an issue, but with my very fine hair, it can appear flat very easily. I've not yet attempted to use the quick smooth brush so I can't provide feedback on that.

Love this blow dryer! It’s lightweight, but still packs a punch! I have thick hair that is fine textured. Due to the thickness of my hair, it usually takes a good amount of time to dry my hair, but I was able to dry my entire head in 4 mins with this blow dryer! I didn’t section it out, but even without sectioning it, it came out beautifully. My hair also didn’t feel too hot on touching it, so it didn’t feel like it was burning my hair. Cool setting also works beautifully! I haven’t really been able to figure out how to use the frizz or round brush attachments, but nice that it came with them and plan to watch the videos they have to learn the proper way to use them. Highly recommend this blow dryer!!

This is the best hair dryer I have ever owned! It is lightweight and easy to use. The dry time is quick! I have long & thick hair. I have used the attachment for glossing and was pleased that the product does exactly what the manufacturer claims. One needs to know that the dryer does have a “whiz” sound that is high pitched and could be irritating to those with sensitive auditory nerves.

Peinarse no podría ser más fácil. Mi rutina de 20min para alaciar y dar volumen a mi cabello se redujo a la mitad. Mi estilista/colorista me la recomendó muy por encima de cualquier otra en el mercado, incluida la carísima D y tenía toda la razón. Es fácil de usar, tiene gran potencia de aire y calor, no deja reseco ni maltrata mi cabello y cabe en cualquier maleta, incluso en la de cabina. La quiero mucho. Es importante recalcar que mi cabello naturalmente es ondulado y delgado.
