Well, we got this cave for my 19 year-old cat today. She is insisting on being outside on the lawn chairs so I bought her this because she doesn’t really like her outdoor cat house with the heating pad because she can only lay in it lengthwise and this one she can turn around it is very well-made. The material feels like a durable sleeping bag not easy to tear. I was able to assemble it within five minutes. You just have to make sure the zippers are always on the right side and then gently zip. It don’t be aggressive, but this is wonderful material. You could see. It’s definitely weatherproof and I will update my review after our first rain. I will probably have a cover over it as well, but we will see if she’s already in it. I have her outdoor heating pad in it as well at 19 they need heating pads she can come in. The door is always open. It’s her choice to come in or go out. She is starting to have some cognitive decline so they do what they want. Dementia is just one of those things, but the CBD cannabis has really helped her with that quite a bit. We’re not trying to extend her life per se. We just want her to have comfort all around Great product so far.

Oh gosh pepper loves it and goes into it with out my telling her. I moved to another spot and pepper had a fit barking and and ignoring me..she wants it to stay where it’s convenient for her to go into it easily..lol it is soft and squishy but stays up ..it does calm her down..I would buy again the price is right so it serves its purpose..she has plenty of room for my little 10 lb poodle..the 23x16 x17 is the size I purchased. .. I also put 2 very thin flannel blankets for warmth .. look and see there are no windows and your dog will love that you can’t be looking at it while she has her own quiet moment..lol my dog still paces the floor but has an escape room for herself.I just wanted to touch base with you about this special dog house. This is April 2026 and my anxiety space for my dog works great still and holds together great . It’s a thick padding stiff to hold up and go back in place if it gets a hard bump but to be safe for your cat or dog it should be in a corner or high away from kids running and jumping — after all this is for my high anxiety fur baby..honestly I am wondering if when my grandkids come to visit I might put this inside a plastic crate..please don’t over look this product for your baby we all need alone time some days and my screeching poodle needs to have space when she starts screeching and pacing. I put her in here and I will put in there with her a hot water bottle so that she can kind of cuddle up against it and she can stay in there as long as she wants to when she’s ready to come out she will and you’ll know she’s ready to be out and frankly, I just leave the door open on the crate I have set up inside her anxiety house and she goes in there herself and she has her bedtime that is usually around 9 o’clock and she will go in there and she won’t come out until morning she loves it. I’m glad that I had the opportunity to get this for my dog. I think you will be too..if your little dog or cat has the same problem. I’m thinking it might muffle sound a bit..it is breathable it’s an open doorway dark out room..with support of sitting inside a plastic or a wire crate that is larger than the house..kind of like a cubby hole that you might see them dig out for themselves in nature..

I brought this dog house for my dog comfort cause sometimes it gets cold in the house so I wanted him to be warm and snuggly with secure because the other dog beds I brought wasn’t doing it for him. the quality of it was nice and the size was big and the thickness of it was also good, only thing is as I was putting it together I noticed the zipper was not attached to it before I could put together it looked as if it was ripped off you could see it clear as day so that ruined everything. Good quality dog house but i wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

I really like this dog house I actually bought this for the stray cat that gave birth in my yard hoping she would bring the kittens inside of it so I could locate them. It's a really durable fabric it's made out of but it can collapse if she leans on it the wrong way or too hard or gets a claw stuck to it there isn't any support structure on the inside so I want to make that clear. It does stay up really well on its own without a support structure but it could collapse if say your dog decided to run right into it not paying attention chasing the ball. The bottom of it is a very thick orthopedic foam which I absolutely love. It comes with the foam and then like a plastic pillowcase like sleeve that it goes into before it goes into the outer cover so there's multiple layers on the bottom so I do trust it's waterproof capability. The only thing that made it lose a star is the fact that it was actually pretty difficult to put together with all of the zippers it wouldn't cooperate with me as I was assembling it so it took a little longer than I felt like it should and the zippers would get stuck going around corners which was inconvenient. But once I got it up and assembled it is a fantastic product the zipper has like a plastic cover type thing for it so it's definitely not going to leak through the zippers. It could be taken apart and probably washed in a washing machine which is a bonus if it gets dirty. And it's a really good size especially if you get it for like a smaller dog or a cat. Sadly so far this has not passed the stray Kitty test she does not like the confinement so I don't know if she's going to use it. But I personally like it. Overall it's a good product if you're willing to take the time to put it together and deal with the little mishaps with the zippers. I do believe this would hold the test of time outside even though it is a soft sided dog house. So I think I'm going to use it for a few months and then come back and update it on how well it held up with the wind rain and dirt because I stuck it in a field full of foxtails. So far great product really like it I would 100% buy it again.
