This one was a big disappointment. Visually, these appear to be very similar to another brand, the Comica Boom D2, but coming in at a much lower cost. However, after I ran some quick tests, I quickly discovered that they don't perform well at all.- Yes, at close range (within less than 50 feet), transmission is clear and sound quality is good. I recorded the included video using the SevenOak microphone. But as soon as I turned my back to the camera, or walked more than about 50 feet (15 meters) away, the mic completely cut out. Much less expensive, and much smaller iPhone wireless mic sets I've tested performed MUCH better on the distance test, even from 300 feet away, and with my back turned.- I was robbed! I was excited to order this kit because it was supposed to come with lavelier mics for each transmitter, plus the necessary cables to connect to either a smartphone or a professional camera. I'm a professional video producer, so this was a no-brainer. However, when I opened the box ... a box with diagrams of the parts supposedly inside ... there were no lavelier mics and no cable to connect to my video camera.- Also missing were the windscreens. So, when I did a recording on a breezy day, there was very audible wind noise on the mic.This kit is almost useless as I received it. But, even if it had come with all of the correct items, it wouldn't live up to the advertisement or the cost. I need a mic system that won't cut out if my guest turns their back or if we're more than 50 feet from the camera. Not worth your time. Spend a few dollars more and get the Comica or Boya systems. Those kits are much more dependable.

First, my box was opened prior to me receiving it. I did not find any missing components. That could be an amazon issue, not the supplier.Overall, the product came charged and ready for testing. I did some initial testing for functionality and basically making a few connections to the device I was recording with via the supplied patch cord was all I needed.Usable distance was good, keep in mind reception for all transmit and receive devices is dependent on environment, my results were good. There are indicators on the display for battery, signal strength and customizable settings.I then fully charged the devices and tested for run time, the results were also good, I left them on with audio streaming thru for a couple of hours without degradation of results. Run time is much beyond the time that I tested at the time of this writing.I could not connect to my smart phone, as the necessary jacks are not supplied, and I do not have a standard input jack for audio etc. That is common today, and there are other routes to get audio into your smart phone via specific adapters or a specific device for your phone. It is my opinion that this device though it definitely could be used in that environment is more geared toward other devices/uses. I believe their marketing description mimics that opinion, i.e. does not oversell.This device would excel for a standalone camera such as a dslr, digital camcorder, or recording podcasts where you do not want to be tethered or bound to a stationary microphone. There are many possibilities.Audio quality was acceptable, I do not think it would be suitable for music performances, though perhaps an external microphone upgrade might allow that. Once again, I do not think it is promoted as such, which I appreciate.Recharging is done via a multiple port class C-USB cable, or you can recharge individually if needed. Charge time is reasonable, but will take in excess of an hour depending upon battery depletion.Included accessories are the multi-port charge cable, two microphones to supplement the microphones built into the transmitters, two foam microphone covers, two furry microphone covers, two clips to hold the external microphones to a shirt, and two patch cables (1/8" stereo and multi-function microphone-stereo to stereo.Overall, I recommend this product for those that are needing a wireless lavaliere system at a reasonable expense. This product would be great for those more detailed vlogs where your smart phone is not your only recording device and you need audio from a distance. The size of the device(s) is very manageable, though I would want a separate carry case for when not in use.
