This one is legitimate and same as the one that came with my purifier and it is worth it to just get this one instead of the "other brand" ones found on Amazon...I originally ordered one of those knock off ones because it was cheaper. Instant regret. The other brand had such a strong chemical smell and it gave me headaches and extreme sinus irritation and made me feel sick for days. Had it for 2 weeks before I realize that was what was wrong and by no surprise all symptoms went away after turning it off for a few days.That being said I returned that chemical laden junk and ordered one of these legitimate levoit produced ones, swapped them out and there is NO odor and it works as expected. No symptoms of feeling sick and it's as good as new.Air is fresh in my room and quality is as expected, which is excellent.Just get this one. Don't save a couple dollars and make yourself sick like I did.

I like these products. I just replaced this filter for the first time having a unit at four months. It could’ve lasted longer but I did have construction in the vicinity of where this filter unit was. My purpose was to absorb the smells of paint and dust from sanding, and pulling up old carpet. It did hold up well. I noticed the light goes from Blue and Hover‘s around green or yellow as a filter gets older and you can definitely tell the airflow decreases. That’s your first indication that the filter needs to be replaced. I might’ve gotten five or six months if I did not have construction work.It’s a good feeling to have a hepa filter with a charcoal filter filtering out the contaminants in your room or house. The filter price is expensive to me but I’m not ready to try an aftermarket brand not knowing there quality. I do want something that I feel more confident in breathing clean air. I wish it was about 20% cheaper. Good product you can tell it’s built very well. And I do like the COMPANY very well.

A definite must have if you have invested in the levoit 200 s last much longer then the knockoff brands in my opinion. Definitely keeps the dust and pulls smoke from cooking out of the air.

Purchased this as a backup for my LEVOIT Vital 200S-P Air Purifier. Absolutely love this unit. Easy to use, easy to clean, the visual change in the air quality makes it easy to quickly up the fan speed to take care of the fumes/smoke/allergens. One the first level you can hardly tell its running, second level still is quiet, third level makes a little more white noise and the fourth a wee bit more. Nothing crazy and it cleans up a large space quickly...returning the colored notification back to a pretty blue. This works so wonderfully! Had something fall off (likely pie crust) that was stored in the cool oven. Pie gone, but when I placed a casserole in to cook...I noticed after a half hour, when I opened the oven door to take a peek...whew smoke bellowed out (nothing on fire) turned on the above range fan then quickly ran over to the LEVOIT which was already orange in the dining room, and cranked it up! Scooted back to scoop out the charred remains at the bottom of the oven, then returned casserole to finish. Within 10 minutes the colored ring had gone from orange to blue and back to normal. NO SMOKE ALARM went off! I was amazed because the hallway wasn't far from the LEVOIT. NOTE: Even though my 200S-P has Wi-Fi capabilities, I don't use that.

I’d give these filters 10 stars if I could.I recently put my Levoit air purifier in the small room that our litter box is in, which admittedly smelled terrible no matter what we tried or how often we cleaned the box.I had the idea to put our air purifier in the room, with a filter that had been used for 2+ years without being changed.Even a heavily used filter that desperately needed to be replaced completely removed the smell from the room!I decided to replace it with a cheaper knockoff/off brand filter, and the brand new knock off filters didn’t remove smells at ALL. So an old and dirty Levoit filter worked better than a brand new off brand filter.I returned the off brand filters, and just paid the price for the Levoits, and WOW, what an incredible difference!! The air just smells SO fresh in the room and I can’t even pick up a hint of pet smells.
