After investing plenty of time and money into my new hobby, sourdough bread, I was pretty nervous about what to bake it in. I knew I wanted to use ceramic vs cast iron and it needed to be low profile to fit my countertop oven. After reading the reviews here I decided to give it a try. The recipe called for preheating the cooking vessel at 450 for 45 min before baking the dough - no problems. The bread cooked perfectly and tipped right out of the pan with no sticking and just a quick wipe down to clean. I bought the bisque color. One reviewer c/o “staining” I just can see that mine will be developing a well earned patina over the years. The price was also great, after investing in an Ankasrum mixer and a Breville oven I wasn’t too interested in spending a lot on a covered cooker. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Lovely pan. Makes a beautiful, long loaf of sourdough sandwich bread. Lightweight stoneware. Well worth the price, for the end product. Definitely ordering more.

This loaf pan is the perfect size & the caver makes it perfect for baking crusty loaves. However, it started discoloring upon first use even though I never used any fats in my baking. It's just cosmetic and doesn't affect the finished product.

I loved this pan. I loved it until it cracked in half. I used it for sourdough bread making. Very disappointed.

This is my second order of these bread tins. The work great. I make sourdough large loaf bread in them. It comes out nice and easily and golden brown. I can now make 4 loafs at one time to sell at the farmers market.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I make homemade sourdough bread and have a glazed cast iron French oven I use. I bought this one because I wanted my loaf to be oblong for easier slicing. I’ve made two loaves so far and they came out perfect. It is a great price also.

I make sourdough bread and prefer the texture when it is covered but like the shape of a sandwich loaf. this is the perfect shape! the slices come out the perfect size for a toaster or slice of cheese. It's also pretty and I plan to see if baking in the lid will work because then I would essentially have two pans for things I don't want covered! I was a little worried after reading some reviews but it arrived unbroken for me. Upon washing it, there appeared to be some thin cracks all over (like what you might see on old stoneware) but when it dried they were not visible so I decided to not be concerned. I wouldn't put it from the fridge into the hot oven or anything like that but it does the job! It has held up to multiple uses now at 450 degrees. if this comes back in stock, I will buy more. I know several people who would love this as a gift. at the $35 price point, it was definitely worth it for me.EDITI do not wash this very often because I always line it with parchment paper. I ran it through the dishwasher (because it claims to be dishwasher safe) for the first time since baking with it a bunch and there are now permanent cracks all over it. The same ones I noticed when I first washed it by hand but they now feel textured and do not go away. I still love it because I line my pan anyway, but if you do not want to do that, I would not recommend this pan. just save up a little extra and buy a different brand for $75 that will hold up better and be safer to put your bread in.

Son estupendas para hacer pan en el horno pero hay que poner papel de horno porque sino se pega la masa al molde.

I tested many forms, this one is perfect - size. lid height, material... I would like to buy one more but it is unavailable any more, what a shame

Magnifique plat qui vaut la peine d’acheter si vous voulez vous simplifier la tâche. Vous pouvez faire reposer le pain dans le moule, le cuire au four et servir le pain dans ce magnifique plat. Très pratique!

Super moule pour cuire le pain. J'en ai trois (2 beige/1 noir). Petite astuce pour que le pain se détache bien après cuisson, je badigeonne les moules avec un peu d'huile neutre. Démarrage à froid, 30 minutes à 230° (moule fermé)et 6 mn à 220° (moule ouvert).
