I've been looking at this hose for forever. I am not sure why I waited so long to get it. I love it. It is such a game changer when it comes to ease of use and convenience with garden hoses. For me it is worth every penny. I saved a little by buying a "used like new" as well. It works perfectly and is very stable, secure and well made. I added a longer leader hose so I could move it farther away from the water tap and that worked perfectly too. Just buy it!

Very easy to install. Haven't used it yet but so far like what I see. My HOA doesn't allow mounting on the wall or bricks so needed something that could free stand. This was the only thing out there I could find. Def like the quick release accessories it comes with and the extra hose attachment. Install was a breeze. Maybe like 10min. Cool part is the bar that uses to twist the pipe in the ground, you can hide it inside the pipe when putting the mount on so you don't lose it. Clever! The universal cover was the only one I found for this and it was WAY BIGGER than it needed to be. Doesn't fit snug so def check the dimensions and all. This cover is almost 3 times too big. BUT will say not mad that it covers the base so during winter/heavy rain it protects the whole thing. Blessing in disguise so I'm keeping the cover.

High quality product. I had a retractable hose unit in the past that was junk (Not from this manufacturer. It was a different brand.)This unit mounts into the ground so it stays put. My old one rolled on wheels so it would move when trying to retract. This reels up the hose perfectly every time. The mechanism in the old unit would not move side to side smoothly when rewinding. This is made of high quality materials that is sturdy. The other unit was made of cheap flimsy plastic. I used teflon tape when attaching my hose to the quick disconnect to make sure the threads or gasket on my hose would not leak. If I did not, this could be an easy way to blame the disconnects for leaking when it would be the fault of the hose that I used to connect to the unit. (I installed the unit about ten feet away from the hose shut off.). Everything worked perfectly. Not a single leak. The thick solid steel pipe included to twist the unit to drive the stake into the ground worked perfectly and was necessary. The stake that twists into the ground is very large to make sure the unit is secure. It would have been impossible to twist in the stake all the way without it. Ones screwed into the ground it is extremely secure so it does not move when pulling out the house or retracting the hose.

It works well easy assembly. At first it seemed like it would be flimsy and may come off the ground when pulling the hose since it’s o my supported by one spike and the reel and hose is heavy, but the once installed it worked well, sturdy enough, no wiggling, no problems. The only thing I don’t like is that when you close the water from the nozzle provided it drips slowly. You have to make a point to make sure it’s tightly closed to avoid drips. It comes with quick multiple plastic quick connects.

I love my retractable hose! I purchased this because a friend has this and it makes him so happy to use it.It was easy to install in the ground. I have seen pictures of them mounted to the house, however I was too impatient to research. Otherwise I would have preferred it mounted.

It works great when the hose is pulled and when it retracts. It’s easy to install and easy to use.

Attaches easily, allows easy watering, rolling up is OK.Slight downside on installation - the plastic base is not perfectly made, there are NO screw threads or inserts, so impossible to fix the two parts with the screws provided! I had to place threaded inserts myself.Also, make sure that the entire metal spike is in the ground, so make sure that there is nothing underneath.

Amazing, if you consider getting a garden hose. Don't look further, either get this one with the spike or get the one that mounts to the wall. This product is such high quality, I describe it as the Porsche GT3 RS of the gardening world. So simple, yet so quality.
