I bought these to use as a backdrop for my video sign language job. They are not kidding when they say "Black Out"I now have the opposite problem of ZERO light coming into my work area. I bought them for the color and for some light reduction but holy cow they really let zero light through! They are nice! Many black out curtains are stiff and not very nice looking and heavy. These look like regular every day drapes. The fabric flows and moves like regular material. And they are not heavy to handle. If I didn't know better I would think they were just regular curtains!

I’m a day sleeper so I needed blackout curtains. Of course the room is not pitch black but it’s gets very dark; dark enough for me to sleep with no sun whatsoever in my face. I got the 96 inch long ones. They are kind of a thick satiny material and they are heavy but not too heavy for my command hooks. (I have the ones that hold 5lbs each) I’m not sure about the other reviews but they really do block out light. Some light comes through the edges of the curtain(duuuh) but not enough to say they don’t do the job they are designed to do.

I purchased these to block out light in a Gallery. I had no real hopes that for this price they might need a second layer. But I was SHOCKED! These are very well made and VERY thick. No light gets in! I ended up getting a few other pairs to block off storage areas in the Gallery because they were very thick and could take the wear and tear of opening and closing off these areas. I would highly recommend these curtains for more than just window /light control.

These curtains are so nice! I wasn't expecting much but they dont wrinkle and do a great job blocking out bright morning sun even without blinds in the window. They feel very soft almost like silk. A bit longer than I expected so you might want to look at measurements before you buy

Completely blackout, very thick curtains. I love the various options for hanging them. They have been up for about a week and are still kinda wrinkled but sure you could steam it out if it bothers you. My only complaint is the color is a lot more orange than the picture. Was hoping it would be slightly more cool toned like the pictured. Overall good quality, but added pictures so you can get a better idea of the color. First picture with flash, second two natural light on a day with overcast.

We didn't think they would *ACTUALLY* be blackout, help with sound, heat, or light, we figured "Hey, just another cheap pair of black curtains". We bought a pair for our business to be in the back. They work so well, to our surprise, that we bought a ton of them to cover the entire front of our business. Fast shipping, great product. Long, solid, and classy, like me!

These are heavy with a bit of shine to them. I replaced my 6 white, light blocking curtains and could tell an improvement with just one replaced. I steamed by putting in the dryer with a few pieces of ice for a few minutes to get out most of the fold wrinkles before hanging which worked well. Not 100% but good enough to avoid ironing.

I absolutely looove these curtains!! The picture is not doing them justice, but the color it a true black black color. The match perfect with my custom valance. They truly have a glam look!! And my room is totally pitch dark!! No more bright light from our neighbors yard anymore!!! I was finally able to get a full nights rest. They were a great buy. Shipping was fast and they came in the package in perfect condition. They can have wrinkles, but if you have ever purchased curtains in a store you would know that is normal and totally expected. I went ahead and bought 3 more sets in a grey color for my living room. Thank you so much!!

Amber golden, 102" long lined curtains. Problem I encountered is that the sewing alongside of panels is too tight and draws the curtain up along the edges so they are noticeably shorter than the rest of the curtain and won't lay flat all the way down the sides even with steaming. Other wrinkles on the curtain do steam out nicely. This amber golden colour is rich and intense and so won't work for me but will be pleasing for others. My windows face north, so I did not check them for blackout. For me, they failed due to workmanship.

These have a luxury look and feel. They look beautiful in the night and also in the daylight.

These blackout curtains are definitely heavy duty and very effective! Love them! And my installation ensured to light rays penetrated, many times forcing me to allow my eyes to adjust to the absolute darkness when entering from a lighted room!
