I purchased a Sani-flo system approx 7 years ago and the pump just (Dec 2020) quit working. The rubber on the bottom of the level switch deteriorated and the motor wouldn't stop running - therefore burned up. I looked at the cost to replace with another Sani-flo pump but when I saw the price I looked for other alternatives. I found the Trupow system and for the price, I thought it would be worth a try. I had to make a slight plumbing adjustment with my outlet pipe otherwise it was a direct plug in. The unit has only been in for a few days, but has been used several times. I only have a toilet connected to the pump, but it has performed flawlessly so far. I hope it lasts at least as long as the original system, but time will tell. At this point I would buy again in a heart beat.

Been through 3 of these and the longest one lasted 8 months and then they flood your floor because the damn thing isnt sealed at the top so water just spews out. Mine is behind a wall so by the time i notice its not working the water is everywhere. And this is used only for an apartment kitchen sink that doesnt get used a whole lot. I just replaced it with an american made unit thats comopletely sealed so this wont happen again. Save your money and spend a littl more upfront and be done with it.

I purchased this unit to replace another brand that died after about 16 months. This one just looks better built to start with. It has a small access hatch to get to pump for jams that doesn't require removal of the outlet or top inlet port. I also like the manual button on it which my older one didn't have. But best of all it is VERY QUIET. My old one sounded like a gas lawn mower (not quite but loud)...this one hums and has a little knock sound (probably the one valve).About the only small negative compared to the other one I bought is that this one didn't come with the assorted rubber attachment boots, so if you need those you may have to go to your local store. In my case I was able to reuse my toilets bellows for the connection and used standard rubber plumbing boots for the outlet and sink inlet.TIP 1: Put a manual shut off valve on the outlet! So if you do have to service it or replace it you don't have the pipe contents come out. Trust me on this one, disconnecting the outlet without it isn't pretty.TIP2: Put a pan below it, or cut down a water tight tub to use as a pan. Put a water sensor alarm in it. I took an old storage tub and cut out the hole for the toilet (I didn't use the lower inlet just the top one for the sink). The main point here is to contain a small leak and most importantly tell you it's leaking via the alarm sensor. They are cheap $5-10 each and worth it.

Had it for a year and so far so good.

Attached a 4 inch to 3 inch reducer and modified output to garden hose. Works as a perfect macerator for my 5th Wheel RV when dry docking and sewer not available. Inserting the garden hose iinto the toilet bowl and yiu can empty all 3 tanks (black, and 2 gray) in about 10.minutes, noess!

Now everything is plastic incluid motor i being using this since 2022 is my 3rd macerator from this saler Always same issue leak and discharge switch failure now on top of that i notice that the weight are lighter than before so i realize the electric motor are now totally plastic after 2 weeks of use now pumping so slowly so no time to return and looking for a new manufacturer and change all plumbing design Not recommended at all.

This product does not suction water out of the toilet so therefore it is completely useless if you want it for that reason it’s not taking water out of my toilet bowl

We got a fitting to connect a hose to it. I also added 3” pvc elbows to the inlet to dump my RV toilet into it. Whenever we need to empty the RV toilet we run the hose inside into another toilet and push it al the way in the toilet. Works like a champ and no indoor smell!
