This is a fun family game!

Great fun family game.Everyone from a kindergartener (who helped draw on a team) to 80 year old grandpa (when we could keep him focused) had a great time.It's a simple enough game, but complex enough for replay. The skill and subject are easily approachable from all age sets without feeling dumbed down to a kids game.In its essence it's pretty non competitive game, you get a word, the next person draws a picture of the word, you pass, the next person looks at the picture and writes the word he thinks the picture is (this is where it gets fun since the word may or may not lend to being drawn easily), then you pass and continue the word / picture turns until everyone gets their books back (or you run out of pages), at this point you reveil the books one at a time and laugh where everything went wrong (or praise how good the drawings were that allowed the same word to finish).Everyone loved seeing how the pictures / words evolved, and was super supportive of each other, including giving the family member who's drawing / word changed the course of the word a hard time.I bought the 6 pack (so we could get the after dark version too), we did supplement the after dark boards (they have more turns) for more players (10 total) but keep in mind the turns still stay at 6 (maybe 8 if you bought the 8 person version - this worked out for us - just returning the book to its owner after 6 turns however). It also worked out better socially as we passed both ways (to help mix up the kids drawings / influence) as well as scrambled seating positions occasionally, which lead to better socialization between not so often seen relatives.Overall it was a wonderful game, that I was honestly surprised the whole (5-80) family liked so much and could play together, not easy in the family game sphere.

Super fun game that we all enjoy playing together

I love this game! It is fun for all ages and good for a laugh! The quality is good. This is like gartic phone but not online. The size is small but good enough to get your point across.

This is a fantastic game, fun engaging, and easy to learn and play. I bought it for a family vacation and we were expecting hours of fun and laughs.The BIG disappointment was when the second time we wanted to play 4 out of 12 markers did not work any more, even though they had been properly closed. So we could not play again during the trip. If you are planing to buy the game consider that you MUST buy an extra set of dry wipe markers to go with it.To the maker: Evaluate improving the quality of the markers! The frustration it generates to the consumer is not worth it.

Awesomely fun game. We were introduced to this game at our daughter-in-law's house and it is great. You don't need to be a great artist, in fact some of the simplest stick-people drawings are the best. Very fun game and always produces a laugh with each "reveal" stage.We found it was cheaper to get two of the 6 player family packs than a single 12 player pack. In fact we bought a 6 player family pack, and a 6 player "After Dark" adult version. This allows us to play 12 players of either the family version, or the adult version (you use all the pens and pads from both games but select cards from only one game).Another great thing is there is almost no learning required to play. The rules are simple, one person draws the picture, the next person guesses what it is and writes it out, followed by the next person who draws again.

Hilarious and so much fun! It requires 4-6 players but with a bit of tweaking two of us had a wonderful time playing with lots of laughs. I bought this to play with my little sister and our family, 4 members, and though I have not yet had the time to go over there and try the full game with them, I am absolutely positive that we'll have a blast, especially if you can have that much fun with just two players. More is bound to make it that much better! With just the two of us we both drew a card and rolled the dice. We drew the picture of the description our number gave and swapped books. We wrote our guesses and swapped back. If you got it right, you get the point. If you didn't, the person has to re-draw it a different way and you can do this 3 times until the person gets it or loses the point. Not how the game was meant to be played but very fun and a bit of a fun challenge if either of you don't have the best drawing skills. How did "Cry Baby" turn into "Sad bug"? A fun way to manage with just two or three players. I can't wait to try this in a larger group! I will definitely be recommending this game!

This game is amazing! If you already have played it and are buying it for yourself or as a gift they also offer an Adult version Telestrations After Dark .The game is a cross between Pictionary and the childhood game telephone. Everyone starts with a flip book and draws an image, after 1 minute, the flip book is passed to the player beside them and they must guess the picture. the book is then passed again when the following playing must draw the guess of the person prior. this continues until the book is back to the original owner. Af this point each person gets a chase to share the funny pictures and guesses. It is a great party game

Great game for parties / small group of friends. Easy instructions, easy to play, loads of laughs.

Ist mit Abstand das Lustigste Gesellschaftsspiele was ich kenne.Ich würde allerdings auch empfehlen, gleich noch eine Satz Whiteboard Marker dazu zu kaufen, weil die mitgelieferten schon etwas eingetrocknet waren.
