Very easy to put together, this worked very well to aerate my lawn. The aerator never got plugged up and ejected each plug like it is designed too. I highly recommend this manual aerator tool.

Absolute peace of garbage.It's seemingly impossible to contact them for their supposed five year warranty.You just get run around in circles, so eventually just initiated a return. Turns out if you have a six-year-old weld, what looks like half a paper clip to mostly the rubber foot piece. It doesn't hold up very well. Here's pics. One side with a good weld, one side with just this, and like I said, was mostly just melted into the rubber foot piece. Broke on second push into ground.

I was unsure about this item when I received it. The pieces just felt a bit light weight. But after assembly, and in use, it's definitely solid enough to do the job. Assembly was very easy. The ends are nice and sharp, and went through my watered, rock free soil with light to moderate effort, and worked just as it was supposed to. I'm not sure how long the stick-on foot grip is going to last. It comes with two. I guess if they fail, there's always skateboard grip tape, which should work fine.

This manual aerator went together quickly and was ready for my lawn in less than five minutes. Stepping down into the ground went smoother than I expected (I have heavy clay) and the little plugs came out automatically as they slipped through the tines. It's lightweight but seemed sturdy under my feet. It is suitable for small areas or where you have an extra 10 minutes, but I could see it getting tedious if you were trying to do a full yard. I'm aiming for continuous slow improvements, so this seems like a perfect tool for me. Overall, no complaints and I am very pleased.

I picked this up to deal with compacted clay-heavy lawn areas that weren’t draining well, and after a full afternoon using it, this is one of the few manual yard tools that feels genuinely well built instead of disposable. Wouldn 't have wnted to use it on the entire .6 acre yard, but super effective for key trouble spots.Setup was straightforward and everything lined up cleanly. The stainless construction immediately stands out- it has real weight without feeling awkward, and once you step onto the foot plate it drives into the soil more easily than I expected.What worked well:-Pulls true soil plugs instead of just poking holes, which noticeably loosened compacted areas-Very solid construction with no flex when applying body weight- I’ll include a pic so you can hopefully make out the solid gauge-Wide foot plate makes downward pressure comfortable and stable-Hollow tines cleared themselves fairly well and didn’t clog often-Long handle keeps you upright so your back doesn’t hate you afterward-Removable center tine is genuinely useful when soil is harderWhat could be better:-In very dry soil it still takes effort, so watering beforehand is basically required for best resultsAfter watering the lawn the night before, penetration improved dramatically and the plugs came out cleanly. I also like that the tines are removable, which should extend the usable life instead of turning this into another throwaway tool.Who should buy this:-Homeowners with small to medium lawns-Anyone dealing with compacted soil or poor drainage-People who want a durable manual alternative to renting a powered aeratorWho might skip it:-Very large yard owners who would be better off with a powered machineOverall, this feels closer to a professional-grade hand tool than most lawn gadgets in this price range. Bad welds - broken shaft first 10 feet of use - needs an internal collar then weld joint.Burmuda grass, sod installed 2 years ago. Watered area for 30 minutes before starting.

Made from 304 stainless steel, it seems to be of good quality and is designed to be rust-resistant.​It is currently holding up well even when used in hard, compacted soil. I’ve found that using a sharp stabbing motion, while simultaneously applying force with both your hands and your foot on the non-slip foot pad, is the fastest and most efficient way to drive the tines into the earth.​The 3 detachable hollow tines do a great job of pulling clean cores to help the soil breathe. Because this tool features three tines, it doesn't cover a vast amount of area at once. If you have a very large yard, expect it to take a significant amount of time to complete the full project.​​I am very happy with this aerator so far for my front yard. It’s a sturdy, well-constructed manual tool that gets the job done effectively if you’re willing to put in the manual effort.

Poor quality. Welds failed on 3rd use. Can’t recommend.

Did a decent job aerating my lawn which is on sticky clay.It did block a lot but nothing like the one I had before that did not have an opening for plugs to fall out.A lot easier to unblock and carry on

It works. Only the quality of the welds is poor. It seems like there will be problems down the road.
