A while ago, I forgot to lock my car door, and that night someone ransacked it right in front of my home. So I decided to install a camera at my front entrance to monitor any suspicious activity. I compared many types of cameras—most are solar-powered, but because there’s a large tree by my front door that often blocks sunlight, I chose this one with its own charging feature. I bought this product to monitor the activities of my baby. It’s easy to mount on the wall and the motion detector is quite good. I can also watch from my phone. It’s super easy to connect to this device from the phone.

with my ongoing custody situation & needing to document things around my property, i installed this security camera to monitor my driveway & front entrance. the 4k video quality has been impressive & it's captured some important footage for my legal case.the 143 degree field of view covers way more area than i expected. can see my entire front yard & driveway from one camera position which means i don't need multiple units. the infrared night vision works great - clear images even on dark pennsylvania nights when there's no street lighting.what really impressed me is the dual detection system. the pir sensor catches motion while the radar helps filter out false alarms from my huskies banksy & forrest running around the yard. way fewer notifications than my old camera that triggered every time a leaf blew by.the alexa integration works well with my smart home setup. i can check the feed on my echo show when i'm working in my salon & need to see who's at the door. voice commands work reliably for basic functions like checking status or arming/disarming.video quality during the day is excellent - can clearly see license plates & faces even from a distance. the 4k resolution makes a huge difference when you need to zoom in on details. important when you're documenting things that might be relevant for court proceedings.the 2-way talk feature has been useful for communicating with delivery drivers or my stepkids when they get home from school. audio quality is clear enough for normal conversations without having to go to the door.i'm knocking off a star because the app connectivity is inconsistent. sometimes takes forever to load the live feed & occasionally loses connection entirely. not ideal when you need quick access to check what's happening. the cloud storage works fine but the 128gb local storage fills up faster than expected.setup was straightforward for someone comfortable with tech. connected to my wifi network easily & the mounting hardware is solid. weatherproofing seems good - survived several storms without issues.

Works fine, just make sure you get storage for it. The video quality is fine. Motion detection is a bit overboard, but I will say that is a good thing for now. Setup can be a pain but if you are ordering this, you likely know that and will have no issues. The value for the price is pretty good. These were easy to install, I put them inside and pointed them out a window.
