I've used this mouse pad for about four months now and the stitching along the edges has become increasingly gray compared to the black color it was when I first began using it (see pictures). The good news is the stitching has not started fraying or otherwise falling apart, so the change is entirely aesthetic. Otherwise, the material is odor-free, smooth, and my mouse glides over it easily. The mouse pad stays in place on my desk and also helps keep my keyboard in place far better than the surface of the desk did prior. The mouse pad is large enough that a full-size keyboard fits comfortably with plenty of space left for the mouse to move freely. There's even enough space that you can place an additional mouse pad with a wrist support if you prefer to use this mouse pad to protect the surface of your desk from liquid and/or scratches. At about $10, the simple, all-black design makes this a good choice for any desktop setup, gamer or otherwise.

Really nice durable desk mat. It’s really big and keeps up with my gaming set up. It’s got a nice soft feel. It works well with our gaming mouse. For the money this is a great deal.

The mousepad I received is slightly smaller at 30.88” (784.3mm) x 11.69” (296.9mm) x 0.11” (2.8mm). These dimensions provide a lot of coverage at the front of a desk. The mousepad is just thick enough to be soft while being thin enough to not add unnecessary height.LogoThere are not many distractions on the pad. There is just the 1.96” (50mm) x .46” (12mm) logo on the bottom right corner. It’s not a great logo, and I wish it weren’t there, but it is. It’s not so bad that I can’t just ignore it or put something over it. It probably won’t hurt my social status if people aren’t aware that I have invested in a RAINYEAR mousepad.TractionThe bottom of the mousepad is a little tacky so it can slightly cling to the desktop.StitchingThe stitching around the edges could be tighter. As it is, there are irregularities in the stitches. I can see white between some of the black stitches. If I brush the stitches with my hand, the stitches move a little and more white places open up. what's not to love? For those of you who wish you could have an XL mouse pad but can't have graphics or don't want them, this is the answer. It's big, 30"x12" ish I think it's not quite 12" but its pretty close. The backing is good, very tacky so it isn't going to slide off your smooth desktop. The stitching is good, the mousing surface is nice and slick, my mouse glides on it like silk. Its perfect if you just want a big mouse pad without graphics or colors, or puppies and unicorns. It also damps the sound of your keyboard so if you're in an office setting you can justify it by saying that it will actually help quiet down noisy keyboards. Decently thick pad too, so this is a win for me. I posted front and back pics.

While this mousepad is large, it’s not as large as advertised. The actual measurements are 34.875” x 15.5” not 35.4” x 15.7”. The marble print in person is very washed out with a warm grey tone. The camera does the print more justice than it deserves. Their brand name managed to print just fine comparatively.At order and review, the list price is $19.99, currently it’s on sale for $1 off. Knowing what I know now, I would have ordered this in black.

I’ve tried several large mouse pads in this size category, and this one from RAINYEAR is by far the best of the bunch. The quality really stands out when you compare it to others side by side. It’s thicker, more durable, and holds up extremely well in a busy office setting. I’m using the moon/universe design, and not only is it functional, but it also adds a nice visual touch to my desk. The surface is smooth for mouse movement, and the rubber base keeps it firmly in place. Great quality and a great look.
