Been working great since December. Brutally cold winter and it has been ice free. Birds love it since there’s little water available anywhere else. Last night was 0 f with a -20 wind chill. This morning it had some ice build up along edges but mostly ice free.

This birdbath was absolutely wonderful to have for my birds for the winter months! The installation was very easy. It’s very durable and it fit perfectly into place on my deck. It was also very easy to clean. The heating performance was spot on. As you can see from my video I explained different features. Particularly how it attached to my deck. The cord is 5 feet long. It’s easy to tip the water out come evening time. I noted in my video temperatures got below 10° and the water still did not freeze. I remembered there were days when the temperatures were minus 1° and it still heated perfectly to performance where the water did not freeze and the birds were able to drink nice, fresh water. I explained features in my video which are important. Most days I had it out for 10 hours and the water remained unfrozen. It’s designed so it’s very easy for the birds to sit on the ledge and sip their water for the day. Many, many birds loved their fresh water on a cold winter day. This was well worth the cost. I have since taken it down since the temperatures are now in the spring and I no longer need it. It is perfectly fine for next season. It was well worth the money I paid and I highly recommend!!

Very nice heated birdbath. Like its size, look, and functionality. Like that bowl just lifts out for easy cleaning, bowl material kinda like a hard plastic, should last long time. Nice depth not too deep not to shallow. We have a family room bay window that looks onto the deck and railing and have had heated birdbath before, in winter the Cardinals are just beautiful, water is hard to find for winter birds so they’ll find this, during the migration season we’ve had robins 6-7 deep waiting in line for their turn at a bath.

I ordered this birdbath for my back yard. With so much snow this winter and really cold temps I wanted to offer the birds some water. I didn’t put it on my deck rail yet. I placed it on top of an old tree stump and some pine wreaths near my deck. It was very nice to see the birds and squirrels drinking from it.I put some small rocks inside the dish. I made sure to check on it and wash it out every couple days. Very happy with this product! I like that its something that’s versatile with the cord wrap under the dish. I’m sure the birds will enjoy it for a long time ! Its a nice addition to my backyard.

UPDATED April 2026: Ended up returning as birds wouldn’t use it.I live in New England and this year has been frigidly cold. I’ve had the bird bath on the deck for about a week and it has been keeping the water unfrozen without an issue. It was very easy to attach to my deck railing. It was easy to clean and the width and depth of the bath is decent. I think I’ve only seen one or two birds actually drink out of it. I will update this review as more time passes and hopefully the birds will become more accustomed to it being there. During the summer, I have a Pflatzgraff dish that I normally leave on the railing for the birds and they have no issues using that.Ended up returning item as birds would not use it.

I'm very happy with this purchase. Easily assembled and fits my deck nicely. It took no time for the birds and squirrels to find it. I do need to keep it filled each day. It had its first test of 20 degree weather and it stayed fluid and passed with flying colors. One thing I added to the set up was a large zip tie around the base and deck board to give it some extra stability, so when the squirrel sits on it, it doesn't tip. Lol

So far.so good! The only complaint I have is the attachment placing the birdbath did not work for me. It was rather cheap actually. This has not frozen yet and I would purchase again

This bird bath is perfect. Its kept the water from freezing even during the two weeks we just had of below zero weather. It is so easy to set up, no assembly, no parts no need for tools. It securely fastened to the deck railing and is easy to remove for cleaning. It is not oversized as to look ridiculous on the railing. I've had several heated baths and this one is a great buy for the money.

Works great!! I did have to order a second, the first didn’t work. I did have to put a rock in it due to it being extremely windy and it blew out of holder.

Why didn't I purchase this sooner?!!It's been average -25 to -30 since I have purchased this and the water doesn't freeze!! There is a little freeze sometimes on the edges, if the water is low but it melts ASAP.So far haven't seen the birds use it but I am trying by putting bird seeds next to it.Excellent job.

Aesthetically this is a nice looking and functional birdbath that is available in a number of pastel colours. I chose the baby blue option but it also is offered in Green ,Grey, and Khaki (pastel yellow) to suit a wide variety of preferences.I have been testing this over the past few days and even though the nighttime temps in early November, have dropped to below 0 Celsius the heating surface has kept the water at a very comfortable 60+. The dimensions of the bird bath itself are large enough to allow multiple birds to use it at the same time and as the product specs indicate the outside edge is lines with small pre-drilled holes that allow more secure footholds for our feathered friends , especially in bad weather. I would say that this unit should be placed in an accessible area as, being relatively small, it will need to be refilled on a consistent basis if being used actively by various birds.The provided electrical cord is relatively short at only 5' but it is only two prong and therefore any outdoor rated extension cord can easily be used to reach an available outlet.Attachment to the support railing is very simple and the support/attachment system(although not heavy duty) is substantial enough to provide a secure and trustworthy base for the bowl itself. All items necessary for an easy installation are included in the package, including a hex key to tighten the attaching set screw.The bottom line is that this is an effective heated bird bath that should keep water ice free and at a good temperature for all the feathered friends who share our cold Winters. A word of warning here: In Canadian Winters, especially further North, the operating range of 10 - 30 degrees Celsius can be expected to be active virtually 24-7-365 despite the seeming auto control that it promises. This would be true of any heated bird bath but a definite rise in electrical usage should be anticipated during the Winter months.I deducted a ratings point as I could see no indication of any guarantee or warranty, and I think this is an important consideration due to the high likelihood of the heating element being in almost constant operation throughout the Canadian Winter.

Nice bird bath but can’t use it when it’s over -15c as it still freezes up. Had to bring it in till the weather warms up a little
