I’ve purchased this dandruff shampoo from CeraVe several times because it truly works wonders. From the first few uses, I noticed a clear reduction in flakes and itching. It cleans my scalp very well without leaving my hair dry or harsh. I also like that it’s gentle and suitable for regular use, which keeps my scalp balanced and healthy over time. My hair still feels soft, fresh, and manageable after every wash. This is definitely one of the best dandruff shampoos I’ve tried, and I will keep repurchasing it. Highly recommend!

I had developed some annoying dandruff in my early 30s and I hated it. I would use a scalp exfoliator brush every time I washed my hair, and used a scalp treatment serum once a week but the dandruff kept coming back, and the itchiness on my scalp was getting frustrating. I was wondering if it was caused by my dry shampoo, or if I needed to not use any scented hair products, or if I needed to wash my hair more often, but I honestly didn’t want to change any of that. So I tried this.I’ve been using this (and the dandruff conditioner) for 2 months now and now I don’t have even a hint of dandruff. It works so well! It also makes my hair crazy soft and moisturized. There’s not really any smell, which I’m okay with because I always use a detangler and ends product after the shower that have a good smell.I will be using this forever, pretty sure.

I've used a bunch of dandruff shampoos over the years. This is the latest promising option that isn't excessively expensive and works well enough. I use it about once every other day or two. Too much washing messes with my hair balance but I find if I am active outside, that's less of a concern but I still tend to alternate between this and a less intense shampoo.It has a very light scent out of the bottle, somewhat citrusy. Feels more like a medium-thick lotion than typical sticky shampoo. I apply, let it sit a little bit, then rinse and apply conditioner. From what I can tell, my scalp is less red and itchy and flakes very much reduced. Patches are gone, hair is soft, and I don't need to worry about everyday snow.It may cost more than say Head & Shoulders but I do think it's worth it. But everyone is different so what works for me may not work as well for someone else. As of this review posting, I am almost done with one bottle and have a second ready on hand. Sometimes product ingredients change especially when newly launched (I think my first bottle was the first launch cycle) so should I notice a change in efficacy, I will update this review.

Works well. Did have to use for about 3 weeks before I really saw a significant improvement. However, I am using regularly and dandruff is under control now.

I used this shampoo, and it is soo good. I felt instant relief in my scalp. It is a little tingle sensation once it is applied but, other than that it lathers really nicely. It gives the hair a refreshing feeling! I definitely will be purchasing again! It’s the only thing that has worked for me after years of trying numerous products!! Definitely reduces the dandruff and leaves your scalp and hair looking nourished.

If you struggle with dandruff but hate how most medicated shampoos dry out your scalp, this one is worth trying. The 1% pyrithione zinc handles flakes and itchiness, while the ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid keep the scalp moisturized and balanced. It’s sulfate‑free, so the lather is mild, but it still cleans well. With consistent use, both flakes and redness noticeably decrease. Great for sensitive scalps or anyone who wants treatment without the “medicated shampoo” feel. This is absolutely one of my new favorites!

So this shampoo leaves my Hair dull and matty and changes the color of my Hair as well. I have very fine Hair and suffer from itchy Scalp (Folliculitis) and Hair loss. It works great for yeast overgrowth on your Face and turns my washrag purple. I have hard Water( Well water). Not to happy with this one.
