Battery life isn’t the best, but they do look great!

Several months in..... I still don't know exactly how long this thing takes to charge, and let me tell you, nothing is more annoying than seeing one die at night while the other is still on.I can't rely on them. I don't know how charged they are at any time after unplugging them. So they might survive the night or not.The fact that I can't replace the battery or the lamps makes them feel like future landfill. The quality of the build is great but when you have so many parts that are disposable makes that a moot point.Otherwise if you only use them very sporadically and they fit your aesthetic, these might be worth it. When they're not dead, remote control is quite decent, they can go from very bright to pleasant and calm.I guess these have their place, just not my place.

Battery life is poor. USB plug not long enough to reach outlet. Too inconvenient, I don’t want to remove from the wall each time I have to charge the unit. I may return this item.

I received the set of two Yanokooe battery-operated wall sconces in size 34.7", in a sleek, black design.The sconces come with two remotes and two cable cords to recharge each sconce. The recharge cables are a decent length at roughly 24"(in). The sconces have three temperatures of lighting to help ease eye strain.The lights themselves also rotate so that each one can be at a different angle. They do lock back into place vertically or horizontally.I turned the light poles facing towards me instead of the wall so the brightness display could be seen in the video.I charged each light for about four hours for the first test run and achieved 6 hours of light. I then charged each one overnight and have been using the lights off and on for the last 4 nights with no issues of the lights shutting off. I did, however, tap the shut-off button before retiring to bedI like the silver touch "button", I can tap three times to change the color temperature, and one more tap for OFF.The function of the remote hasPROS:1. The Remote features four timers for you to set when you want your lights to go off.Plus, adding minutes to the timer settings.2. Dimmer buttons on the remote are great and worked well.3. I was able to change the settings of the temperature lighting via the remote and on the wall sconces themselves.4. Small silver buttons on the sides of each sconce allowed me to turn them on and off while also changing the lighting features.5. Hanging the sconces vertically or horizontally is a nice feature with the 360-degree turn.CONS:1. While the recharging cord is a good length at around 2 feet, this means my charger will need to be right at that distance to recharge. Some people won't find this to be an issue, depending on where your sconce is placed. The sconce can also be taken off the wall to recharge. I find this to be a bit of a task, considering the length of the lights can be awkward. I placed my sconces on a table and moved my charger to accommodate while charging.Luckily, the lights are relatively lightweight and they stay charged for quite a while.Overall, I found these sconces to be fun and innovative even with my personal issue of the recharging flaw. I would recommend these lights for a soft glow in bedrooms.

I absolutely adore these lights! They’re of high quality and have a satisfying weight. They come with all the necessary mounting hardware, USB-C cables for charging, and a remote control to adjust the brightness. These lights will give your wall a sleek and modern look. You get excellent value for your money, considering their functionality. However, I’m not sure how long the battery will last, and there’s no visible battery indicator.

Design and use:This simple, sleek design provides a range of light from weak to fairly bright in three color temperatures. Although mostly used for decorative purposes, I found that they can be functional as well. Owing to their being able to be placed anywhere, one is serving well as incidental lighting in a tv room. It allows the right amount of intensity so as not to interfere with viewing, and is located where the light is not reflected onto the screen. Reflections were always a problem with our hard-wired lights because of their permanent positions. This sconce solves that problem while adding to the room’s ambiance.The item itself is simple but appears well made. You can see in the pictures that the sconce comes in three pieces, the base and two bulbs. The bulbs insert into the base and can be twisted to any degree. The light bars rotate 90 degrees, from full vertical to full horizontal. The bar that holds the light is metal but the light itself seems to be a type of plastic. You might think that plastic would detract from the look but in actuality it provides a very pleasing color tone in each of the three temperatures.Illumination:The bulbs are shown on the wall both in the forward and back positions, each at the same temperature and at full intensity. In the forward they are not as bright as the picture makes them appear. Do not expect a brightness like that from a fluorescent or incandescent bulb. This is a soft light regardless of the temperature or intensity. If intended for a bathroom light fixture as suggested by the seller, expect a weak illumination. Unless you want such a weaker light, I would suggest another source for that purpose.Potential Problems:One important potential problem that I have identified is that I could not find bulb replacements. Also, I could not identify how long these bulbs last. Apparently, once their gone the whole unit is gone. I hope I can be proven wrong regarding this but that is my finding thus far. Using the Amazon link to the Yanokooe store now shows that they are only selling ceiling fans. Their search engine came up blank when looking for sconces. Not a good sign for potential replacements.Another much less important problem is that there is no charge indicator. It does not let you know when it is fully charged, or if getting in need of a charge. You cannot know when it reaches full charge and there is no manual to state how long it takes to charge. It would be good to know that and also to approximately how much life is left in the battery.Rating:Based on its functionality, looks, build, applications, the problem with replacement bulbs, and the lack of a charge indicator, I feel justified in rating with three stars. The bulb replacement may be a serious problem, which is why the three stars and not four or even five. At $70 for two, these are not cheap and I would want them to last longer than a bulb. This is something to consider when deciding to purchase. Lacking a charge indicator is just an inconvenience.
