A 1/2 pound five week old kitten found outside a Waffle House in 2019 is now Cocoa Bean. For several years searched for ideas to help her anxiety. I’ve learned small abandoned kittens grow up at times with emotional struggles. Last fall bought these collars. The true test was me traveling for a few weeks to California. Upon return Cocoa Bean was mad at me, but didn’t pee outside her box or ruin any flooring.Even though she has digital practice with talking to me via Echo and she and her other cat sleep without me at times intentionally for practice she was mad. But, used the cat boxes. These work for the other cats. Though Minnie Pearl doesn’t need them. I have tried them on all three. Typically, if Minnie seems to meow extra and doesn’t want me to go I typically snuggle her in a Thunder Vest. This also helps CB and FF.Floofe’ Flower seems super mellow when using the collar. I’ve tried it to help her mature calm as when she was small would scream at the door when I’d leave. She was also an underweight abandoned kitten starving when found. It took six months, but she eventually gained all her weight and is now bigger than the other two.She does go places with the dog so occasionally complains when I leave with him thinking it’s also her turn. Usually the Thunder vest works. This month I tried a pheromone collar to see how it’s work. Miss mellow jello :)I find this collar has helped the youngest kitty acclimate and calm from anxiety when I’d leave her in the catio despite having the cats and her German Shepherd with her. Using as a training collar this month to help her find peace a little quicker consistently. Working like a charm.I tried not changing the collar out after a few weeks and Cocoa Bean started showing signs of stress. New collar and chill queen. Every thirty days works like a charm.I bought a bunch extra on a daily deal and have these on my sub and save. Worth the expense to help CB feel calm.Happy cats happy dog happy me⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

I originally got this calming collar for my cat Buffy during stressful periods in my home, and it honestly helped more than I expected. She seemed calmer, more relaxed, and handled changes in the house much better while wearing it.The collar stayed on well and was easy to use, but I do want to mention that with extended wear it did cause some irritation and a small bald/scabby spot on her neck. Once I removed it and gave her skin a break, it improved. Because of that, I’d recommend checking your cat’s neck regularly and not leaving it on longer than directed, especially for sensitive cats.Overall, it was still helpful for stress and anxiety, I just think it’s important to monitor for skin irritation with long-term use.

I had a situation where two 5 year old cats were terrorizing an 11year old cat at the litter box, causing the frightened cat to mark places all over the house. I used this in addition to 7 diffusers added all over the house. This collar worked on the scaredy-cat but did nothing for the aggression of the other 2. This was only half of the solution. And happy pheromones don’t work as well if the negative stimulus is still present. Further, one of the aggressive cats kept getting his collar off until he finally just chewed the buckle and destroyed it. I had to get a different brand collar that was more difficult to remove (but he was still able) so it would stay on him longer.

I’ve only had this product for one day, I don’t think this will work for my cat, Zoey. Background, she doesn’t play, never really has. She will play for 2.5 seconds and runs away. It’s almost like she thinks playing is wrong. Anyway, I have two other cats who play hardcore together, they try to play with her, but she just growls and hisses or she screams bloody murder if they get too close. After a year and a half together, she just random started peeing on their beds and in the toy bin and pooping random places. Vet didn’t find anything wrong and suggest calming collar, so here we are.1. Some people mentioned a scent, I don’t smell anything.2. Easy to put on / Easy to fall off. When I put it on I heard a slight clicks thought it was on good. Next thing I know, the collar is missing. Found it under the sofa table. Later, Zoey was scratching her neck and collar became loosen then fell right off.3. Main reason why I don’t like, this made Zoey act WEIRD. She sat in the same place, same position for a good hour and did not move. Then she had weird twitches, like you could see random parts of her body, just slightly jump, and it was like it freaked her out. She would be laying there and the twitch she would run a few feet then immediately sit down. This went on for about 30 minutes. Then she slept for the ENTIRE day, did not move one inch. I woke her up and put her on the floor, she just moped, she acted so lethargic. I gave her some wet food, she wouldn’t eat, it’s her favorite. I decided to take the collar off. About 30 minutes later, she was acting like her normal self and she scarfed down the food.I don’t know if the collar traumatized her, or if the ingredients are too strong for her, or if the collar stressed her more. Since I have three extra collars I will hang on to these and may try another time, but, I will try the diffuser to see if that makes any difference.

I bought these to try and calm down the aggressive behavior of my 5 year old female cat. She is terrorizing our new 1 year old female. Putting the collar on the 5 year old made no difference in her behavior. I read that both cats need the collars so the 1 year old got one also. The 5 year old is still very aggressive and attacks for no reason. I see no effective results from these collars. I would not recommend purchasing them. I will not purchase again.

I am sharing this because of a review I read about an established male aggressor/bully and a new younger female cat that gave me hope, in case this helps anyone.I have a very rambunctious male cat who grew up a single kitten and with dogs. He had single kitten syndrome and could become aggressive with the dogs and with people (never learned that biting and scratching hurts from playing with other kittens). Earlier this year I adopted a younger female cat so he would have a friend, because we no longer lived with dogs and he needed a playmate. I introduced them slowly and followed Jackson Galaxy’s tips for introducing cats. I bought these for my male cat to wear because it wasn’t going well and he would be very rough and aggressive with the new cat who is very laid back. This stage can be frustrating, scary and feel hopeless but it’s super important to avoid the “stare down” and to avoid letting them fight (watch Jackson Galaxy’s YouTube videos). I couldn’t be certain if the collars worked at the time but I was willing to try, so male cat wore one indefinitely. We did the intro and our visits got longer and longer after 6-8 weeks they could coexist and play and I could leave them alone at home when I left without fear of male cat hurting new baby girl cat. They became friends.Fast forward to moving to a new apartment 3.5 months after adopting new kitty. Male cat was wearing one of these that he had had on for a month or so. No way did I think it was still working if it ever did so I removed it after being in the place for 2 weeks. The cats had been playing like they always did (play wrestling but no ears back or anything more than playful biting etc.) and seemed to be adjusting fine. Then over the next week or so I seemed to have to start breaking them up. My male cat was becoming more frequently aggressive to the younger female cat. It got to the point where every single time he saw her he would put his ears back, stare her down from a distance before launching at her, body slamming her, biting and kicking before I realized they were no longer having positive interactions and my younger cat was becoming afraid of him. I said enough is enough and I separated them and decided I would reintroduce them like Jackson Galaxy recommends. I separated them for 1 full day and got a second litter box again. Admittedly I thought I could get away with only 1 for a short time while settling into the new place but this was clearly not a good idea. In the meantime I put the old calming collar back on my male cat and ordered new ones for overnight shipping.Male cat has had a new collar on for 36 hours and they are back to coexisting and playing without having to be broken up. No signs of actual aggression from male cat. He is playful again without hurting the young female.I am so relieved that my little cat isn’t getting bullied anymore and that it happened somewhat quickly. Although I can’t say the collar alone would have helped, I am a believer and I will continue to dress my male cat in this collar so long as he is a whackadoodle. But I will also remember to respect his territorial needs.Long story short, do NOT skip the basics like proper introductions, adequate litter box territory, vertical spaces to climb, playtime, ruling out health issues etc. and expect this to work. I can see now that the stress of adjusting to new territory as well as only having 1 litter box posed a problem.I also just can’t help but wonder if the collar was still releasing pheromones after 1 month, because of the increase in aggression I believe that happened in the week my male cat had the old collar off. Anyway, I am happy to be on the other side of the problem!

My poor guy here, who I've had since his birth, has never been one to sit still. He is very, "Alpha", requires (demands) tons of attention (almost dog level) and is just otherwise, very peculiar. He never gets along with his siblings for more than a few minutes at a time, and the others began to really dislike his presence over the years. I've always felt bad for him, because he's misunderstood and a little bit of a problem child. Sadly, he began to spray in the house. He was spraying in several places, mostly in the family room... Having been a cat owner for more years than I care to mention... I reviewed all the possible problems... Bladder or kidney problems, crystals in the urine problems, diet problems, not enough litter boxes problems, not cleaning the litter boxes often enough problems.... All of these were ruled out and it just boiled down to something in his head. We were distressed at the house, because he was ruining it, requiring us to clean non-stop, and damaging walls, doors and trim. When the spraying moved into the living room upstairs, I was at my wit's end and considered rehoming him. After 10 years of owning this animal, I was not ready to give up on him. After trying different foods and sprays, I remembered that a pheromone spray had a positive effect on him when trying to calm him around 4th of July fireworks. So I took a chance and bought this 4 pack of collars. He, being the way he is, was NOT happy about his new adornment, and was depressed after I put it on him for a few hours. Honestly I felt bad looking at him, with his look of betrayal on his face. So I took it off. I tried just placing the collar in a spot where he had been spraying. Well, he just sprayed next to it. I was pretty upset, not only because of the spraying, but I felt like there was no hope, and I knew I'd have to look into the rehoming option. Out of frustration for myself and him, I put the collar back on him. He was upset about it, but so was I, about the spraying and our situation. So I left it this time, to give us both this last opportunity to correct this horrible situation. The first night wearing the collar, there was no spray. The second night, one spray, but I didn't give up hope as he had been spraying multiple times, daily. The 3rd and 4th nights (and days). NO spraying. What?! I was so happy for him (and us), and at this point, he no longer minded wearing the collar. I continued to monitor and, NO MORE SPRAYING! For the last month, there has been NO SPRAYING! This collar has soothed his mind and demeanor. He also no longer fights with his siblings. Trust me it's no coincidence, this collar saved all of us! If you're in this situation and you've ruled out any medical issues with your veterinarian and/or litter box placement, you owe it to your critter and yourself to try these.Again, I'm very thankful these collars exist and so is my boy. If you are at your wit's end don't give up on your little guy, and at least give these a shot.

My adult rescue sometimes go through terrible crying spells starting late in the evening and sometimes last all night. He is aggressive and bullies the smaller and younger cat until the younger cat cries in pain. Younger cat who is not a rescue became anxious throughout home except for a couple of safe spots whenever adult rescues goes into his negative cycles. Otherwise they play zoomies together and sleep together. Adult rescue is ok when my house has all of the Therapet diffusers plugged in. However when the weather warms up windows and doors need to be opened to allow cool air in, an alternative method to help cat was needed. The cat collar began to work the first day rescue cat wore it. No crying, less anxious, sleeping soundly, no more aggressive behaviours towards 2nd cat and alert in a positive curiosity towards the birds outside again. Rescue cat is calm yet remained to his schedule of cuddling and hanging out in his favourite cat bed. Rescue cat is a good cat until the negative spells come around. 2nd cat is no longer anxiously looking for the unexpected attacks anymore, zooming around house with happiness by itself and playing with cat toys by itself. Second cat did not need a collar. Cats never had litter box issues and are joy to own.

These collars are terrible and dangerous!! It nearly killed my cat as it didn't snap free! It got caught between his jaws and he struggled so badly that the corners if his jaws started to bleed.

My kitty wore this collar with 2-3 finger spacing. I had it a little loose as I didn’t want her fur to get squashed however after a month of wear, one day I took it off and found fur around her neck to be patchy. It’s not just divided fur but patches of fur gone. It can’t be friction as I had the collar loosely fitted. My only guess is that she was allergic to it. Use with caution!
