We started using Mama Bear Gentle Premium Infant Formula when our baby was dealing with gas and fussiness, and it’s worked really well for us. The transition was smooth, and we didn’t notice any negative reactions when switching from our previous gentle formula.Digestion has definitely been better. Our baby seems less gassy and more comfortable after feedings, and the crying related to tummy issues has gone down. The formula mixes easily with water and doesn’t clump, which makes prep quick, especially during night feeds.I like that it’s milk-based with iron and includes DHA for brain support. Knowing it’s non GMO and doesn’t contain artificial growth hormones gives extra peace of mind. It also compares closely to name brand gentle formulas but at a noticeably better price.The larger can size is convenient and lasts longer, which helps cut down on frequent reorders. We’ve had no issues with freshness or consistency, and the powder quality has been the same from can to can.Overall, this has been a solid, affordable gentle formula that supports digestion, keeps our baby comfortable, and offers good nutritional value. It’s been a reliable option for everyday feeding, and we plan to keep using it.

My daughter normally eats Enfamil Gentlease or the Parents Choice Purple container from Walmart - but recently they were completely out of stock of both so I ran here. Every baby is different but my daughter couldnt tell the difference, no changes in poos/upset stomachs --- I've bought this a couple times when needed -- I wish they sold this brand in stores - its a nice cheaper alternative to Brand name formula. Side note the Mama Bear Diaper brand off of here is very nice as well! we've ordered both items when in a pinch only because it takes so long to ship (My choice - I dont have Prime)

Best formula we’ve tried! I personally love this brand and formula and I usually purchase 2 at a time, every time! My baby loves it also, we have tried some other big brands and baby struggled to get them down or just plain refused. Baby has never had an issue with this formula and we have used it now for 10 months and will continue u til baby is no longer using formula. Highly recommend, and bonus the price is great!

My daughter used this brand for a year and we kept it on subscription every two weeks! She never had any problems on it, and I enjoyed that was cheaper than the name brand. I also liked how to the contained was set up, and that it has a place to keep the scoop.

My baby was on Similac at the hosp and for a month when he was home. It became too expensive so I started to look at brands similar to Similac. I came upon this,ordered it,and preyed that my son would drink it. He did...thank the Amazon Gods! So now I'm saving $20+ and my baby is getting all what formula has to give a growing baby🩵👶

I want to address some of the bad reviews, because many of them are misinformed or the issue isn’t necessarily with the formula.• “The formula contains corn syrup and palm oil.”This is a generic version of Enfamil Neuropro Gentlease which also contains corn syrup and palm oil. Breastmilk is mostly sugar and fat. This formula simply uses plant based sugar and fat because it is formulated for babies that are sensitive to milk. These ingredients have a bad reputation because they often indicate a food is highly processed, but powdered infant formula is highly processed. There’s no way around it! For babies who are having difficulty tolerating milk, these ingredients are just fine.• “My child constipated.”This formula is fortified with additional iron. Not everyone tolerates iron fortification well (maybe your prenatal with iron even worsened your constipation when you were pregnant 😉). Some babies also have harder stools with palm oil. If you switched from a totally different formula, one of these is likely the culprit. That being said, it isn’t really the formula’s fault if your baby can’t tolerate iron or palm oil. Most babies will do just fine.• “This other store brand’s formula is better.”All store brand formula is manufactured by Perrigo, so this is theoretically the same thing. Though I’ve used the up&up Gentle Premium, and I have noticed that the Mama Bear does seem to be a little bit thicker. Perrigo has multiple facilities, so that could be the difference, or it’s simply a difference between batches. What I’m trying to say, though, is that this isn’t some weird shady Amazon formulation while Costco’s is better. They’re still the same formula made by the same company.• “My child is spitting up.”This is the only one that is kind of the formula’s fault. Perrigo’s formula is not quite as hydrolyzed as Enfamil’s, so if you have a particularly sensitive baby, they might do a little worse on the store brand. However, if you’re switching to this from a formula labeled “sensitive,” then it may be that this formula simply doesn’t address the issue your child is having. “Sensitive” and “gentle” are formulated a little bit differently. They aren’t always interchangeable, so keep that in mind if you’re switching!TL;DR - If you’re switching to this formula from Enfamil Neuropro Gentlease, then you will most likely be satisfied. If you aren’t, I really encourage you to ask your pediatrician for samples of the name brand first to trial it. You really can’t beat the Amazon price as of me writing this, so if you’ve used store brand Gentle Premium before without issue, it’s definitely worth it.

I’ve been using this formula for both my babies and it WAS affordable. The formula itself is good and just as good as name brand. But the price fluctuation is insane. One day it’s on sale for 25$ then now it’s over 45$?! It’s usually between 30-35$ and the price raised to 45& which is crazy. This stuff last maybe 5 days in my house and who is going to spend almost 100$ for just 2 cans of formula in less than 2 weeks. Parents are trying to survive in this economy
